Major feud breaks out between JoJo Siwa and Abbie Chatfield after Dance Moms star accuses her of doing 'something bad' to her ex-Kath Ebbs and calls her a clout chaser
Abbie Chatfield has shut down accusations JoJo Siwa made in a bombshell tell-all interview on Wednesday.
The Dance Moms star claimed the It's A Lot podcaster had 'done something pretty bad' to her ex-partner Kath Ebbs while JoJo was in the Celebrity Big Brother UK house.
Abbie, 29, has spent days defending her best friend Kath after JoJo dumped her at the CBB afterparty last week amid her blossoming relationship with reality co-star Chris Hughes.
'Kath told me "No what the f***, I have no f***ing idea what JoJo's talking about",' Abbie said in a lengthy rant on Instagram on Thursday.
'As far as I'm concerned, Kath and I have spoken on the phone for hours about this pre and post break up. The only thing we spoke about was the Big Brother house and what JoJo was doing.
'I know that I haven't done anything to Kath because all I've done since they were in away from JoJo, was support them about JoJo.'
Abbie said she reached out to mutual friends and Kath's sister after seeing JoJo's interview because Kath was travelling home from the UK and unable to respond 'for five hours'.
'Everyone was very confused,' she said.
'Kath is also the kind of person that if something is wrong, they'll say it to you. So it made no sense.
'I don't know what JoJo's trying to do with that.
'I think JoJo was trying to discredit me by distancing me from Kath, making out like I didn't know what I was talking about, or that I'm a bad friend or a clout chaser,' she continued.
'It was kind of like JoJo was trying to imply that Kath was using her for money.'
Abbie attempted to unpack JoJo's potential motivations for making the comment, even revealing that there was a period of time when Kath 'was a bit anxious' because they hadn't seen each other 'face to face' as often.
'Maybe if Kath was upset about that JoJo took it as I was doing something to Kath?' Abbie pondered.
'JoJo was also implying that I'm using Kath and JoJo for clout,' she continued.
'I kept my mouth shut for the sake of their relationship and for the sake JoJo for the whole time.'
'I think she's either trying to discredit me and Kath together by saying we're "spreading misinformation" and that I'm a bad friend but I'm using this for clout.'
Abbie also pointed out she had never previously shared JoJo on her social media throughout the entirety of her relationship with Kath.
'I've been commenting and replying to people when they've been saying blatant lies about Kath. Mean lies,' she explained.
'But I haven't been going out of my way to make "hate JoJo Siwa" content because that's not what I'm interested in doing.
'I'm trying to make people understand why Kath is so upset because I'm seeing a lot of people be very mean and homophobic.
'I do think the wording of saying I did something "pretty bad" to Kath is very inflammatory and hyperbolic.
'Kath says they weren't mad at me. Saying I was "pretty bad" is pretty hectic.'
The FBoy Island host, who has 553,000 Instagram followers and one of the largest social media followings in Australia, took on a sarcastic tone as she continued.
'I don't know what pretty bad is — Is it maybe going on a reality show and meeting a random man from Love Island while you have a partner at home and continuing to cuddle up to, flirt, and fondle that man while you've got a partner that's watching?'
Abbie went on to reveal that Kath has been 'emotionally cheated on' in a previous relationship and said JoJo was very much aware that was Kath's 'biggest trigger' going into the CBB house.
'Maybe that could be a pretty bad thing to do, you know?' she concluded.
In her latest interview, JoJo also claimed her Australian influencer ex asked for a business class flight home and accused them of breaking boundaries that were set before she entered the ITV reality show.
Quick to poke fun at the accusation, Kath took to their Instagram on Thursday with a dramatic video of themselves falling to the floor and grimacing in pain as they arrived home following the 'excruciating' economy flight.
Titled: 'Kath coming home after flying "economy"' Kath also penned: 'Finally back in Australia after an excruciating 24 hours IN THE MIDDLE SEAT'.
In one comment under the post, Abbie said that JoJo's mom Jessalynn 'booked Kath a ticket' to the UK 'after pressuring Kath' to go to the CBB finale, where JoJo called time on their relationship after spending three weeks forming a 'soulmate friendship' with Chris .
Responding to a fan who claimed Kath was 'sponging off JoJo' following the singer's interview, Abbie wrote: '[Kath] assumed they would be flying home with JoJo. Kath has their own money.'
On Saturday, Kath took to Instagram as they broke their silence on the situation in a 13-minute video that was quickly removed from social media.
Fans were quick to speculate that multi-millionaire JoJo, who was paid £400,000 ($832,280AUD) to appear on the series, had some involvement in 'silencing' Kath.
'Kath posted a video basically alluding that Chris was the reason we broke up and that's not the case. It's not the truth,' JoJo said on the The Viall Files podcast.
JoJo admitted she asked Kath to 're-do their video and give a little more context', then refused to buy Kath a flight back to Australia when they did not comply.

The 27-year-old Australian influencer, who uses they/them pronouns, shared an Instagram Stories post on Monday and admitted to feeling 'under the weather' both physically and mentally. Kath, who officially parted company with JoJo in April, also confessed to experiencing 'panic attacks' and being in a 'constant state of overwhelm'. 'Woke up feeling super under the weather both physically and mentally,' they wrote alongside an image in which they were cuddled up with their cat. Kath continued, 'I think I have a habit of acting like I'm fine and everything's a bit funny then it will all just randomly hit me at once.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Kath, who confirmed their split with JoJo last month after the Dance Moms star called things off, detailed their health challenges in the lengthy post. 'Been struggling with night time panic attacks lately (the girls that get it, get it),' they said. 'I hate the feeling of my body acting against me (when it's in fact trying to protect me.) I've just been in a perpetual state of overwhelm for a while, I don't think I know what's what anymore. 'Someone asked me recently why I seem so chill about stuff and I replied that I just pretend it's not me going through it, it's someone I know but it's not my life and that I've been doing that since I was a kid when life got ugly.' Kath ended the post with a tribute to their supporters and others who might experiencing similar challenges. 'Anyways a little honesty diary. Big love to my other disassociate peeps, it's not a nice way to exist but remember it's just your brain trying to protect you from experiencing the pain. Like a little friend' Kath wrote. 'Slow down, connect with people that really love you, drink some water and get outside even if it's just for 10minutes. Also put the phone down (talking to myself!!) Kath signed off, 'Love you guys, Kath x.' In the wake of JoJo and Chris Hughes going official last month, Kath, who is non-binary, took to Instagram to take a subtle dig at their former partner It comes after Kath appeared to be living their best life following a high profile split from JoJo. The American dancer, 22, raised eyebrows during her stint on UK Celebrity Big Brother after forming a close bond with Love Island star Chris Hughes, 32, whilst still being in a relationship with Kath. While they repeatedly insisted their relationship was platonic, before and after JoJo broke up with Kath at the Big Brother wrap party, the duo have since 'confirmed' their relationship late last month. In the wake of the news, Kath, who is non-binary, took to Instagram to take a subtle dig at their former partner, sharing videos and photos of their 'joyful' post-breakup life in Sydney. The video shared showed Kath happily cuddling two women in a kitchen, who were revealed to be Kath's ex-partner and the ex partner's wife. Kath looked chuffed to be in such supportive company with the video showing the trio huddling close as George Michael's Father Figure played over the scene. 'Sapphic love is your ex and their new wife nursing you through a breakup,' Kath said in a pointed reference to JoJo coming out as 'not a lesbian'. Kath's posts come after they recently responded to speculation that the singer and Chris had confirmed their romance with a subtle dig on social media. Kath and JoJo ended their six month relationship almost immediately after the Dance Moms star left CBB, despite Chris insisting that their relationship in the house was 'platonic'. Speculation has been rife ever since, with fans insisting that JoJo and Chris had already begun a romance. In late May, the pair seemingly confirmed they are an item, with a slew of images taken after Chris flew to the US for JoJo's 22nd birthday.

Popular TV channel shuts down for good tonight after 11 years in major shake-up
ITV has announced that it is shutting down the ITVBe channel - the home of reality and unscripted programmes - after 11 years, with ITV Quiz taking over the channel's slot A popular TV channel is shutting down for good today after 11 years on air as part of a major broadcast shake-up. ITVBe, which first launched in 2014, became the home of reality and unscripted shows such as The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE) and The Real Housewives franchise. Comedy fans have also enjoyed American favourites like Jane the Virgin and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend on the channel. However, after tonight, ITVBe will no longer exist, with its reality programmes set to move to a new home as part of a merger with ITV2. These shows will join other popular ITV2 staples such as Love Island and Big Brother, and will remain available from streaming on ITVX as announced earlier this year. ITVBe's channel slot will be replaced by ITV Quiz, which will feature a lineup of the TV network's quiz and game shows, the Mirror reports. The line-up will feature shows such as Wheel of Fortune, Tipping Point, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, Lingo, Tenable, Deal or No Deal, The 1% Club, Jeopardy! and Catchphrase. Meanwhile TOWIE - one of the most popular shows on ITVX - moves to ITV2, with a special 15th anniversary series set to air this autumn. This isn't the first time TOWIE has been broadcast on ITV2, the reality series originally premiered on the channel in 2010. It helped to launch the careers of Mark Wright, Joey Essex, Lucy Mecklenburgh, Sam Faiers and Dab Osborne. The show remained on ITV2 until 2014, when it transitioned to ITVBe becoming one of its flagship programmes. In its announcement earlier this year, ITV said: "ITV2 will now officially become the linear home of all of ITV's best-known reality series, as The Only Way is Essex, The Real Housewives of Cheshire and Real Housewives franchises from around the world move from ITVBe to the UK's most successful digital channel for 16-34s, in June 2025. "TOWIE and RHOCH join a rich schedule of returning formats, including Love Island and Big Brother, and exciting new commissions which are lined up throughout the remainder of 2025 on ITV2, and will continue to stream on ITVX. "The supercharged ITV2 offering also includes animated comedies (Family Guy) original commissions (G'Wed and Transaction) blockbuster movies and younger skewing factual entertainment, like Olivia Attwood's Price of Perfection, which are all also strong performers on ITVX." "Both Love Island and Big Brother are due to return in the Summer and Autumn months respectively, alongside a second series of Olivia Attwood's Bad Boyfriends, following its talked about debut series in 2024," the announcement continued. "The Only Way Is Essex will turn 15 meanwhile with a celebratory Autumn series. The move to ITV2 marks a homecoming for TOWIE as part of its 15th anniversary year, having initially debuted its first 12 series on ITV2." ITV stated that reality remains the most-watched genre on ITV2 and ITVX, with Love Island and its spin-offs being streamed 2.2 billion times, while Big Brother over 100 million and TOWIE hitting 66 million streams in the 12 months up to April, ITV said. The statement concluded: "As the flagship commissions move across to their ITV2 broadcast home, ITV will retire the ITVBe brand from its portfolio in June 2025. "ITV plans to use the channel slot as ITV Quiz, drawing on ITV's popular, market-leading UK quiz and game shows, and the success and learnings of ITVX FAST channels."

Earlier today, we reported that Love Island 's first bombshell has been revealed as a stunning Las Vegas pool party waitress. Antonia Laites, 24, looks after the VIP cabana huts at the swanky Fontainebleau Resort in the gambling mecca. She is the first American bombshell to take part in the reality dating show, which kicks off on ITV2 on Monday. She will join the other islanders as a bombshell - a role usually reserved for the best-looking contestants.
