J-Hope's New Solo Single Brings Him To A Never-Before-Seen High

J-Hope's massively successful 2025 continues, as his latest single becomes another chart win around the world. The BTS star's collaboration with rapper GloRilla, titled 'Killin' It Girl,' is a quick win in the United Kingdom, where the South Korean powerhouse reaches the top 10 on most lists with his latest smash. The cut even manages to bring the South Korean musician to a new career peak on one tally.
J-Hope Hits a New Career High
'Killin' It Girl' launches at No. 30 on the Official Singles chart this week. As it arrives, the tune brings J-Hope to a career-best position on his own. He previously topped out in 2023 with "On the Street," his team-up with J. Cole. That track stood as his only top 40 win until now, as it spent a single frame at No. 37.
GloRilla Also Rises Higher Than Ever
GloRilla also reaches a new career-high point on the Official Singles chart at the same time with only her second win. Back in November 2024, "Whatchu Kno About Me" climbed to No. 93. She had to wait more than half a year before doubling her total number of placements on the tally.
J-Hope's Fourth Solo Win of 2025
J-Hope has now racked up eight solo wins on the Official Singles chart. He debuted under his own name alongside Becky G with "Chicken Noodle Soup" more than half a decade ago. That track launched at No. 82 in October 2019, and at the time, he was one of the first K-pop soloists to appear on the roster.
'Killin' It Girl' is J-Hope's fourth solo smash this year. The tune hits four charts in the U.K. this week and finds even greater success on the slightly-less-competitive tallies. J-Hope's new offering starts at No. 1 on both the Official Singles Sales and Official Singles Downloads rankings. It narrowly misses the summit on the Official Physical Singles chart by just one space, beginning its journey in the runner-up spot on that roster.

The AI Podcast Revolution And How Steven Barlett Is Tackling It

Diary Of A CEO founder and host Steven Bartlett is diving into AI. His company, FlightStory, currently releases an AI-made podcast using his voice. Bartlett says the users know the show is AI-generated and it still has a strong retention rate, with 60% of the audience staying through the end. The AI replication scares him—but not as much as the idea of someone else doing it first. 'There's always a bulldozer coming for you,' says Bartlett. 'You have a choice to either be hit by the bulldozer or to drive the bulldozer.'

🎶 Pop predicts Premier League 25/26: Good Neighbours (West Ham) 🔮

The new Premier League season is almost upon us and to celebrate, we have enlisted the help of some football-loving pop stars to preview and predict the coming campaign. Click here to read all of the interviews! Today we've got Oli Fox, a West Ham fan and one half of Good Neighbours! Hi Oli. What are you hoping to see from West Ham in the 2025/26 Premier League season? I'm hoping to see just a little more cohesion and consistency in our squad. Last season saw us with a talented squad that didn't know how to be a team, so I hope Potter has drilled that into the boys. What is your hottest take or boldest prediction for West Ham's 2025/26 Premier League season? I hate to say that it's now a 'hot take' but I believe we've recruited in such a way to secure a top half finish? I'd dream of a Europa spot but there's been a lot of decent transfers from our main competition. If you were going to bet your life savings on something definitely happening to West Ham in the 2025/26 season, what would it be? There's a few things that I know will happen. Bowen will get into double figures, the fans will turn on Potter a couple of times, and we will have a decent FA Cup run but get knocked out by a silly club. Other than your own, which team or player are you most excited to watch in the 2025/26 season? I'm actually very interested to see if Man United can do anything with a new look team. I really don't like them as a team but some of the players they've employed like Mbeumo and Cunha deserve a shot at the big time. It's an exciting time for the Premier League. What do you predict will be the first managerial change of the 2025/26 season? Regardless of the team, I'm not sure Ruben Amorim is the right manager for United. I can see him seeing the door mid-season. Who will turn out to be West Ham's signing of the summer? El Hadji Malick Diouf. He's had a steady start in pre-season but I really think he's going to come into his own. We haven't had an athlete like him in wing back for a while, so I'm excited to see how he shapes our attack. Who will finish as the Premier League's Player of the Season? Very tough. I think it'll be Wirtz for Liverpool, but he faces competition from the likes of Mo Salah and other 10s like Cole Palmer. Who will win the Golden Boot? Mo Salah is the obvious shout but I'm going to go with João Pedro as an outside vote. Which club will win the Premier League title? Liverpool. Finally, which three clubs will be relegated? Sunderland, Wolves, Leeds. Good Neighbours' debut album, Blue Sky Mentality is out September 26th. Listen to track Suburbs now. Caitlin Clark's Silence Speaks Volumes After Fever Take Down Angel Reese-Less Sky

Caitlin Clark's Silence Speaks Volumes After Fever Take Down Angel Reese-Less Sky originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Caitlin Clark did not suit up for Saturday's rivalry showdown against an Angel Reese-less Chicago Sky side. The reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year sat out her 10th straight game due to a lingering groin supported her team from the bench as she watched the shorthanded Fever take down the Sky in a lopsided matchup, players were clearly excited following their big win as they headed to the locker room shortly after the final buzzer. Clark was with her teammates as they made their way off the court, but unlike the rest of them, the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year kept silent. Clark busted out a W sign with her hands, but she did not say anything as she walked by the is also worth noting that the former Iowa star immediately took to social media after the win. She shared the Fever's post about the victory via her Instagram stories, but again, she opted not to include any caption. While Clark is usually an outspoken individual, she let the win do all the talking this time around. The 23-year-old did not have to say anything as the Fever scored their fourth victory against their rivals in four games played this they always say, actions speak louder than words, and it appears that this was the case for Clark on Saturday night. As for the Sky, this was their ninth loss in 10 games. Reese remains without a timetable for her return from a back injury, but her situation has been described as fans will need to wait a little bit longer for the next iteration of the Clark vs. Reese rivalry. These two teams face off for a final time in the regular season on September 6, but it remains to be seen if both Clark and Reese will be available to play for that one. This story was originally reported by Athlon Sports on Aug 10, 2025, where it first appeared.
