Raducanu and Alcaraz are one of six teams who have received wild cards so far and two further wild cards are set to be announced at a later date to take the overall number of teams competing to 16.

Eight of the total 16 pairs have received direct entry into the draw, including Emma Navarro and Jannik Sinner along with Iga Swiatek and Casper Ruud.
Britain's Jack Draper is also in the main draw, paired with Paula Badosa and US duo Jessica Pegula and Tommy Paul will play together in front of their home crowd.
Other notable wild cards include Novak Djokovic and Olga Danilovic, while two-time grand slam mixed doubles champion Venus Williams will compete with Reilly Opelka.
Current US Open mixed doubles champions Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori have also received wild cards.

She was trailing 3-0 in the first set when she called for a medical timeout to receive treatment for a lower back issue. The 2021 US Open champion, who recently reclaimed top spot in the British rankings, went on to win six games without any response from Anisimova. However, her supporters were less silent as many took to social media and accused Raducanu of dishonesty. Numerous supporters even went so far as to suggest she called for the break merely to halt her opponent's momentum. One critic slammed X, exclaiming: "She's a cheater!! Running around winning three games after a MTO on a hip? Please!!! Faker." Another added: "This is flat out cheating by the way." When Raducanu and Anisimova faced off again in Miami two months later, the match ended with a decisive 6-1, 6-3 victory in the former's favour. The Anisimova who had previously put Raducanu under pressure in Melbourne was nowhere to be seen in Florida as she was dominated on the court. Sky Sports commentator Croft said during the match: "She is all over the place. That sigh says it all. Fed up out here. Not enjoying this. She's being humiliated." Anisimova needed a medical timeout in that same match to address wrist and hand issues that had troubled her earlier in the tournament. Controversy had already arisen during her third-round victory over 11th seed Mirra Andreeva when she took a timeout at 3-1 down in the final set to treat a blister on her middle finger. Russian teenager Andreeva's objections were dismissed by the umpire. The youngster had already taken a medical timeout herself for a stomach issue earlier in the game, of which Anisimova was all too aware. Anisimova took to Instagram to share a photo of her blistered right middle finger, conspicuously raised while the others were folded down. This gesture was not only a sharp retort to Andreeva but also a cautionary signal to Raducanu about crossing her. The image was accompanied by a sarcastic reference to Andreeva's remark: "'We all know why' at 3-1 up was a good one coming from the 1-2 first set medical." Anisimova conceded Andreeva's early medical timeout had disrupted her rhythm in the match. Although they may be on friendly terms for now, Raducanu might think twice before requesting a break when they clash on Friday in Montreal, with their encounter scheduled for just past 1am on Saturday morning UK time.

Cadillac negotiate with American driver in twist after deciding preferred F1 2026 lineup
Reports suggested Cadillac had landed on the two drivers they wanted to race for them in Formula 1 in their 2026 debut season, but it seems they remain in talks with other options Cadillac have not given up on the idea of signing an American driver to race for them when they make their grand Formula 1 entrance. The US-based outfit is forming what will become the sport's 11th team when it begins racing for the first time next year. Having only been confirmed as a new entrant in March this year, Cadillac continue to work flat-out to get everything in place. That has meant that, up until recently decisions over their drivers have been on the back-burner – but it seems they have been making significant progress on that front in recent weeks. Team principal Graeme Lowdon recently named seven drivers under consideration as he discussed his plans during a podcast appearance. Soon after, it emerged that two of them had been selected internally as the preferred choices for the team's debut season. Experience is clearly the preferred trait as the two in question are bona fide F1 veterans. Valtteri Bottas, a 10-time race winner with Mercedes, is understood to be in advanced talks, while Sergio Perez is the other preferred option having won races with Red Bull up until the termination of his contract at the end of last season. But neither of them have put pen to paper yet and, while that remains the case, it would be foolish of Cadillac to rule out all other options. And it seems they are keeping them open for now, especially amid their original desire to field an American driver if at all possible. Originally, the front-runner in that regard had been IndyCar driver Colton Herta. However, the 25-year-old does not currently qualify for an FIA superlicence which would need to change before he would be eligible to race an F1 car. But another American option has emerged in recent weeks as the Formula 2 title race has taken shape. Sitting third in the championship ahead of this weekend's action at the Hungarian Grand Prix is Jak Crawford, from Charlotte, North Carolina. Previously part of the Red Bull academy set-up, the 20-year-old has been an Aston Martin junior driver since early 2024. But there is no prospect of him being elevated into one of their F1 race seats for 2026, with Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll already contracted. Speaking to Crawford admitted that he has held talks with Cadillac about a potential switch if he continues his fine progress in F2. "We're trying to find any space on the grid, whether it's with Cadillac or Aston Martin or some other teams," he said. "There have been talks, I've been talking, but it's very slow at the moment. From my side, I just need to do a good job in Formula 2. There's nothing I can do to compete [with the experience of Bottas and Perez]. Actually, the only thing I can do is do well in F2. Other than that, I can't really do anything else."
