Model Abbey Clancy has revealed how she thought her husband Peter Crouch was "having an affair" after he was "sneaking off" recently.

While ex-England football star Peter and Abbey have been married since 2011 and had four children, the model admitted that she was worried husband might have been cheating on her after a change in his behaviour.

Chatting with her cousin, Ross, and husband Peter during a recent episode of their Therapy Crouch podcast, Abbey jokingly aired her "whine of the week" after Peter had been "sneaking off".

She said: "So for two days, Pete was being all shifty. I thought he was having an affair at one point. I had to send Jack (their youngest child) with him because he kept sneaking off."
She added: "And he was like, I've just got to go and see this golf course. So we came back. And then he was like 'you're not going to believe this golf course'."

After it finally came to light that Peter had been skulking off to a new golf course that he had been thinking of joining, he tried to bring Abbey round to the idea by saying that it had an equestrian centre attached.
However, after Peter had tried to suggest that there might be something in it for her, Abbey was having none of it as she quickly came back saying that Peter "must've thought that she was born yesterday".
Mum-of-four Abbey also recalled a recent get together with friends where she mentioned that Peter was thinking of joining the new golf course.

But to her dismay, she recalled how they all instantly broke out into laughter after they knew that the former Southampton striker had already put his name down for the club.
Peter signed for Liverpool in July 2005 and met Abbey purely by chance when he went to a bar that she had been working at in Liverpool.

After their romance blossomed, the pair walked down the aisle six years later during a ceremony at Stapleford Park in Leicestershire.

Their first born, Sophia Ruby came just months before they tied the knot while they have since had Liberty Rose (born June 2015), Johnny (born January 2018) and Jack (born June 2019).

In recent years the husband and wife have seen their careers cross over after they started their own podcast together, the Therapy Crouch, which sees the couple give listeners an inside look into the latest goings on in their busy lives.
