Rob and Ryan react to 'Welcome to Wrexham' season finale
While the episode showed the Reds making history with their back-to-back-to-back promotion, it delved a little deeper into the true meaning behind the club.
Young fan Archie White, battling myeloid sarcoma, a rare form of blood cancer, was the special guest on the day of promotion at the Stok Cae Ras against Charlton Athletic.

The episode shared an emotional visit to the football ground for Archie and his parents, meeting Rob and even scoring a goal.
The brave 12-year-old watched from the box with the co-owners as Wrexham secured their place in the ELF Championship, stating 'you made this happen' to Rob.
On 'X', Rob said: "I'm very proud of the finale for so many reasons. I'm proud of players, the town, the crew.
"But mostly I'm proud of Archie who continues to be a beacon of hope, joy and resilience for the entire world. You keep fighting, Arch."

The episode also showed manager Phil Parkinson asking Rob to make a speech to the team before the final game.
Teasing advice from a 'famous American footballer', Rob said 'play like you did when you were a kid because that's all you'll remember.'
Ryan claimed the TV episode was his 'favourite ever', referencing the edit showcasing the players in their youth engaging with the sport, and cutting to them playing professionally for the Reds when it mattered most - the game that secured their third consecutive promotion.

A memorial service to honour the life of former Wrexham, Liverpool and Chelsea star Joey Jones was attended by more than 2000 fans and a number of fellow footballing legends Football legend Joey Jones was remembered as an 'incredible human being' at an emotional memorial service today. Sir Kenny Dalglish led a huge number of former Liverpool, Chelsea, Wrexham and Huddersfield Town players to attend. Jones' close friends and former Wales and Chelsea team-mates Mickey Thomas and Eddie Niedzwiecki both broke down in tears as they paid their own personal tributes. It was an extraordinary day here in Wrexham as 2000 fans listened to speakers recall their memories of the 'legend' Jones died aged 70 last month. His coffin was carried out of the stadium by ex team-mates including Ian Rush, Kevin Ratcliffe and Niedzwecki to the sound of Gerry and the Pacemakers 'You'll never Walk Alone.' Some fans were crying as they said goodbye to their hero. The defender was immortalised when Liverpool supporters memorably unfurled a banner at the 1977 European Cup final against Borussia Monchengladbach having already beaten Saint Etienne and FC Zurich. It famously read: "Joey Ate The Frogs Legs, Made The Swiss Roll, Now He's Munching Gladbach." The original banner was fixed to seats behind one of the goals. Among the other Liverpool players to attend were Ian Callaghan, Howard Gayle and David Fairclough. Chelsea were represented by Mark Hughes, Thomas, Niedzwiecki, Colin Lee and Gary Chivers. Wrexham legend Arfon Griffiths led a huge contingent of former home town players Niedzwiecki sald: 'they don't make them like our Joey Joey would help anyone He was a cult hero for Chelsea.' He recalled a match between Liverpool and Chelsea at Anfield when Jones was sub for the Blues and both sets of fans chanted his name as he was so revered. Thomas drew sustained spontaneous applause when he called for a statue of Jones to be erected in Wrexham and called Jones who he had known since he was 14 as 'an incredible human being.' Liverpool.s club chaplain. Bill Bygroves recalled how Jones was a childhood Liverpool supporter and had 'Liver Bird tattoo' on his arm. He said the club and its owners sent 'heartfelt condolences" and said Jones was a 'good and humble man' and would live forever in the hearts of Liverpool fans. He said the date Jones was signed for Liverpool for just £110,000 on 14th July 1975 was a great day in the club's history. Dozens of Chelsea fans made the long trip north to pay their respects. Chelsea fan, and author, Kelvin Barker said: 'Joey was a cult hero for us at Chelsea and I know he was the same at the other clubs he played for. 'It's an honour to pay our respects alongside Wrexham, Liverpool and Huddersfield supporters. It's rare that one player can be such a hero at so many clubs -that's a real testament to Joey as a football player but more importantly as a fantastic man.' Greig Sarath, 57, from St Ives, Cambs, said: 'I had to be here to pay my respects to one of Chelsea's greatest ever characters. 'He will never be forgotten at Stamford Bridge. I'm so pleased I saw quite a few Chelsea shirts here.' The mourners were treated to passionate singing from the Fron Male Voice choir who sang the Welsh National Anthem and Abide with Me. The family asked that donations in memory of Joey are made to the British Heart Foundation, Cancer Research UK, Dementia UK and Dogs Trust.

'I said I wouldn't force move from Newcastle – when Liverpool came in my mind was made up'
Alexander Isak finds himself in a different situation to Georginio Wijnaldum despite the midfielder once successfully sealing his own move from Newcastle United to Liverpool One player who might sympathise with Alexander Isak 's efforts to secure a move from Newcastle to Liverpool is Anfield icon Georginio Wijnaldum. Isak has been at the centre of relentless transfer speculation this summer, with the Reds thought to be leading the chase for his services should he depart the Tyneside outfit. But his potential move is proving difficult to pull off despite the striker making Newcastle aware of his wish to leave, with a £110million offer from Liverpool earlier this month being turned down. The transfer saga has become increasingly messy, with relations between club and player souring as Eddie Howe excluded Isak from the team's pre-season matches and the Swede trains by himself. Isak did not feature in Newcastle's Premier League curtain-raiser against Aston Villa, where chants from his own fans branded him as "greedy". On Tuesday, the 25-year-old issued a stunning statement in which he suggested he might not play for Newcastle again, claiming "promises have been broken" and "trust has been lost". Among the various players to have moved from St James' Park to Anfield previously is Wijnaldum, who the Magpies supporters once also implored to stay. The Dutch midfielder, currently at Al-Ettifaq, was snapped up by the Reds for £25m after Newcastle's relegation in 2016. He became instrumental in Liverpool's triumphs in the following seasons as Liverpool lifted the Premier League and Champions League - trophies Isak undoubtedly hopes to win too. Unsurprisingly, Wijnaldum had no regrets over joining Jurgen Klopp 's side, but remained grateful for the role Newcastle played in his development and insisted he did not force a move away. Speaking to the Liverpool Echo before his 2017 return to face his former club, Wijnaldum said: 'I remember my last game for Newcastle in the pre-season when their fans were singing that they wanted me to stay. "But when the opportunity came to play for a great club like Liverpool with such a great history I had to take it. I hope they understand why I made that choice to go to Liverpool. 'When the previous season at Newcastle ended, I said publicly that I wouldn't force a move. When Liverpool came in for me I made up my mind that I wanted to come here, but I wasn't going to force it because I appreciated what Newcastle and their fans did for me.' He continued: 'It's always a special game when you play against your previous club. It was only one year at Newcastle but that time there meant a lot to me. I met some great people who helped me to play good games in the Premier League and it was because of them I got the move to Liverpool.' Despite his positive comments about his year-long spell on Tyneside and claiming he had not agitated for a transfer, unlike Isak who is deemed to have done so, the 34-year-old was accused of lacking fight and commitment before jumping ship by the Newcastle fans. Isak, in comparison, has made a significant impact in his three-year stint with Newcastle, emerging as one of the Premier League's top players and scoring a goal in the Carabao Cup final to break their long-standing trophy drought. In his first match back on Tyneside, Wijnaldum hit the post but failed to make an impact in front of a raucous home crowd, who booed him whenever the two clubs clashed in later matches. Wijnaldum made 237 appearances for Liverpool, netting 22 goals, including a memorable brace against Barcelona in the 2018/19 Champions League semi-final second leg, which inspired Liverpool to a 4–3 aggregate victory.
