Hard Rock names Country star as first 2025 Battery Park concert

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City has named the first musician of the 2025 Battery Park season.
The Hard Rock has announced that Country star Ella Langley will be coming to the Battery Park stage this June.
Local program helping high school students buy caps and gowns for graduation
Ella Langley is known for her songs 'If You Have To,' 'Damn You,' and 'Country Boy's Dream.' She's also known for working behind the scenes in ways such as co-writing Elle King's single 'out Yonder,' the release stated.
Over the years, Langley has toured with musicians such as Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, and Morgan Wallen.
Langley will be taking to the Battery Park stage on June 27.
Tickets for the concert go on sale Friday and will be available for purchase or in the Rock Shop. This show is open to all ages.

‘Local Perspectives' returns to Sioux City Art Center

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — The Sioux City Art Center is now taking submissions for Local Perspectives. All artists 18 years and older who live within 75 miles of Sioux City are welcome to submit their art. Each artist can submit up to three artworks, which can be either 2D or 3D. Each place will receive $500, $300, and $200. According to the Local Perspectives website, Local Perspectives is the 'longest running juried exhibition featuring Siouxland's creative communities.' This year, the collection will be on view October 2, 2025, through February 9, 2026. The deadline for entries is July 28, with final decisions made on August 22. The exhibit will be installed in the JET Gallery located on the third floor of the Art Center and juried by Sioux City Art Center Curator Christopher Atkins.
