Sapthak Bangalore will host a music programme titled 'Swara Sarangi' on Friday, July 11, at the Indian Institute of World Culture, located on B.P. Wadia Road, Basavanagudi. The event is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
The evening will start with vocal performances by Nisha Kulkarni and Milind Srivastava, visiting from the United States. They will be accompanied by Kaushik Bhat on the tabla, and Ajay Hegde on the harmonium.
The second half of the programme will feature a sarangi recital by Ustad Murad Ali Khan from Delhi, with Ravindra Yavagal on the tabla.

Sapthak to host two vocal concerts on June 28 in Bengaluru

Sapthak Bangalore will present Smarane – Swaranjali, a soulful evening of Hindustani classical music on Saturday at the Indian Institute of World Culture, Basavanagudi. The event is scheduled at 5.30 p.m. and is open to all free of charge. The evening will open with a vocal recital by emerging artist Shravya Sudarshan Iyer, accompanied by Purnima Samanth on tabla and Gajanan Sabhahit on harmonium. The second concert will be a tribute to the late Ustad Rashid Khan, performed by his senior disciple Prasad Khaparde. He will be supported by Gurumurthy Vaidya on tabla and Vyasmurthy Katti on harmonium.
