As they gear up to mark their 20th anniversary, K-pop legends SUPER JUNIOR appeared together on a variety show, offering fans a rare and candid glimpse into their journey. The members opened up about their two-decade-long career, shared behind-the-scenes anecdotes, and addressed past controversies — including the long-standing bullying rumours surrounding member Eunhyuk. The group tackled the topic head-on, setting the record straight while reflecting on their growth and bond over the years. During an episode of the variety show 'Knowing Bros', SUPER JUNIOR talked about surviving in the industry for the past 20 years. During the show, the host commented on how hard and cumbersome it must have been for the members to stay united and together in the past 20 years. They even credited fellow member Leeteuk being one of the reasons that the group did not disband. The group replied that it has not been a 'smooth journey'. Eunhyuk specifically continued, sharing that, "It hasn't been a smooth journey. We had to push through. When we debuted, we were a project group called 'Super Junior 05,' where members could rotate or graduate'. Kuhyun joked about the matter, sharing that the group became fixed when he ended up joining the group and finalising everything. Eunhyuk then continued to share details about the hardships his group had to go through. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like [화제] 갱년기 불면증으로 고생하셨던 분들 '이것' 먹고 푹 주무세요! 여성갱년기해결방법 더 알아보기 Undo "We had so many members, and there were so many ups and downs. He shared that, 'After a pre-recording, I went to sleep under a red blanket, and someone sprinkled water on me twice. It turned out to be Donghae. I held back, but when it happened a third time, I shouted, 'Stop it.' Thinking Donghae did it again, I hit Eunhyuk, who was just laughing nearby'. He continued, 'But it was actually Kyuhyun who had done it the third time. From under the table, he said, 'Brother, it was me.' So I hit Kyuhyun too, and he responded, 'How could you do this to me?' We had to go on a live broadcast right after, and I managed to clear things up with everyone except Eunhyuk'. At the time he also revealed that he had told Eunhyuk to give the 'thank you' speech if they were to win the award at the end of the show. When they did end up winning, Eunhyuk, who was still angered at the time, called the group members his 'fellow artists' which made the bullying rumours come to light. Shindong and Kyuhyun shared that, 'It was frustrating. Even if we argue, we shouldn't show it on stage. Afterward, Shindong, in a fit of anger, kicked a box of drinks, which ended up spilling on Yesung. So they started fighting too'.
