‘He is a bit of a let-down': Prince Andrew breaks cover after fresh allegations aired in embarrassing new book
The warts-and-all book about the Duke and Duchess of York is called Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York and is penned by veteran royal author Andrew Lownie.
The ex-working royal is currently bracing for more public embarrassment after the first excerpts from the bombshell book surfaced over the weekend.
Grainy photos of a stony-faced Duke of York behind the wheel a black Land Rover Defender alongside his ex-wife of 10 years, Fergie hit the British tabloids on Sunday.
The Yorks married in 1986 and quickly welcomed daughters Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, before separating in 1992 and divorcing in 1996.
In the damning new Lownie tome, Andrew's sexual exploits are front and centre, with embarrassing allegations about the Duke of York's bedroom prowess, or lack thereof.
'He's about as subtle as a hand grenade,' one former date told Lownie.
'His favourite trick is to rub your knee under the table. It's pathetic.'
Another of his lovers called the 65-year-old a 'let down' in the bedroom.
'He is not a Casanova,' the former partner said.
'In the bedroom department, he is a bit of a let-down.
'He has been dumped by most of the girls linked to him because he is a bore.'
At a wedding, the Duke of York was said to have asked a woman he'd not met before for a dance.
When she declined, he responded without missing a beat, 'I suppose a b*** j** is out of the question, then?'
Andrew is also said to have certain juvenile characteristics, like using his royal privileges to humiliate others who have no power to hit back.
At a dinner party with a date, he allegedly sniffed the pâté served as a first course and turned to his right, saying, 'This pâté smells. What do you think?'
His unsuspecting date allegedly leaned forward to smell it and he promptly pushed her face into the dish.
Despite divorcing almost three decades ago, the Yorks continue to live together at Andrew's palatial home Royal Lodge and appear as a family at royal events.
'There's a lot that's going to shock people, I've spoken to about 100 people who have never spoken before,' Mr Lownie told SkyNews.com.au earlier this year.
The respected royal author characterised the Yorks as 'role-less' and preoccupied with maintaining the 'high life' through wealthy friends and shadowy acquaintances, mostly from the Middle East and Central Asia.
'They're both role-less, except in terms of they like making money and living the high life, I suppose that gives them a purpose,' he said.
Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York will be published by HarperCollins on 14 August 2025.

Prince Andrew says Harry ‘acted hastily' in marrying Meghan leading to alleged ‘punch up'
News Corp Columnist Angela Mollard discusses allegations of Prince Harry giving Prince Andrew a bloody nose during an argument. Revelations in a new book called 'Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York' claim there was a physical altercation between the uncle and nephew, over something Prince Andrew said behind Prince Harry's back. 'It's not within the realms of possibility that Harry had a punch-up with Andrew and the notion that the two most problematic members of the Royal Family could be … in this realm,' Ms Mollard told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power. 'There's also the claim that Andrew warned Harry that he hadn't done his due diligence on Meghan Markle and that he had acted hastily in marrying her.'

'Till the day they die': Long-time royal photographer's bombshell prediction about Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson's relationship... as the Duke of York faces fresh scandal
Royal photographer Arthur Edwards has made a striking prediction about Prince Andrew and Sarah 'Fergie' Ferguson, saying he believes the pair will remain loyal to one another for life. Edwards, who has worked with the Royal Family for over 40 years, told The Sun on Sunday that Fergie is his "favourite royal" and opened up about his memories of the Yorks' long and complicated relationship. He recalled the first time the "extroverted redhead" appeared on the royal scene in 1985, after being introduced to Prince Andrew by her friend, the late Princess Diana. The couple quickly became engaged and married in 1986, but eventually separated and divorced a decade later in 1996. Still, Edwards believes nothing will break the connection between the Duke and Duchess of York, who share daughters Princess Beatrice, 36, and Princess Eugenie, 35. "They're still very close and will be until the day they die," he said. Fergie echoed similar sentiments in a December interview with The Times, declaring: "I won't let Andrew down. He supports me as much as I support him. He's supported me through thick and thin, not just marriage or divorce." The ex-couple's bond has indeed remained unusually strong, and so has the public scrutiny, particularly surrounding the ex-working royal and his ties to convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. The latest round of controversy has erupted ahead of the release of royal author Andrew Lownie's new book 'Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York', due out on August 14. The book reportedly explores the 65-year-old Duke's sexual exploits and alleges that Andrew's relationship with Epstein was even more perilous than the public realises. According to The Times, Epstein is said to have sold Andrew's "most intimate secrets" to foreign intelligence agencies. The book also claims the disgraced financier was an "agent of influence" for Russian President Vladimir Putin. "The Prince was a useful idiot who gave him respectability, access to political leaders and business opportunities. He found him easy to exploit," Lownie said. These allegations come hot on the heels of Andrew's exposed ties to alleged Chinese spy Yang Tengbo, who reportedly saw him as "a valuable communication channel" according to documents released by the UK's Special Immigration Appeals Commission (SIAC). The pair still live together at Royal Lodge on the Windsor Estate, a situation many assumed would end under King Charles' reign, as reports claimed the King wanted them to vacate the sprawling property. But Edwards believes that's also unlikely. "One thing I know about the King is that he is a kind man who was never going to kick his brother and Fergie out of their home, Royal Lodge at Windsor," he said. "He's not that sort of person."

Jelena Dokic's partner Yane Veselinov shares cryptic social media post after tennis star's gushing Logies speech calling Todd Woodbridge 'my person' set tongues wagging
Jelena Dokic's boyfriend Yane Veselinov has shared a cryptic new social media post days after his famous partner's emotional Logies acceptance speech. Dokic won the Silver Logie for Best Factual or Documentary Program for Unbreakable: The Jelena Dokic Story during Australian TV's night of nights at The Star in Sydney. The retired tennis star hit the red carpet solo at the Logies despite recently going public with Veselinov, a Melbourne-based hospitality relations manager. On Tuesday, Veselinov returned to social media for the first time since the glitzy awards night and shared a picture of a stunning Melbourne sunrise with the caption 'Good morning Melbs'. Veselinov describes himself on Instagram as a "food and wine enthusiast, pleasure seeker and life enjoyer". In her Logies speech, Dokic made an emotional tribute to her close friend and fellow tennis great Todd Woodbridge, but made no mention of her partner. "Todd Woodbridge, I don't know where you are, there," she said, scanning the crowd. "Todd. You're my person. "I say that, and this makes me cry so much because I sat down with you on the table 11 years ago when I retired, and you said to me that I can be a commentator and speaker and bring my story to life.' Woodbridge, 54, appeared to wipe away a tear following Dokic's sweet tribute. Dokic described herself as "a person who couldn't string two sentences together, look people in the eye, had no social skills left", and credited Woodbridge with giving her the belief to rebuild. "You were the only one who believed in me, especially professionally," she said. "Thank you for that. I always say to everyone, 'Be someone's Todd', and I hope that everyone finds a Todd like I did." Dokic confirmed her relationship with Veselinov last month after published bombshell footage of the pair getting cosy at Melbourne Airport. "You are my calm, safe, peaceful and happy place. So glad I found you," Dokic wrote alongside a romantic snap with her new partner. Dokic split from her previous partner Tin Bukic in late 2022 after an almost two-decade-long relationship. She recently opened up on the Mental As Anyone podcast about how the demise of her relationship jeopardised her plans to start a family. 'I was in a relationship for almost 19 years from the age of 20, and right when we split up, we were about to start trying for a family,' Jelena said.
