Watch: Priyanka Chopra Jonas calls daughter Malti 'a light of our lives'
June 20 (UPI) -- Priyanka Chopra Jonas says her daughter Malti is "a light of our lives."
The actress, 42, discussed Malti, her 3-year-old daughter with her husband, singer Nick Jonas, when she stopped by The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon Thursday to discuss her new movie Heads of State.
"She's precocious. She is funny. She's a little comedian and she knows she's funny, so that's even better," Chopra Jonas said. "But, yeah, she's just such a light of our lives right now. This is an amazing season for us."
Malti was born in 2022 via surrogate. Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas, 32, married in 2018.
"It's lovely not to have found your person," Chopra Jonas previously said on the Jennifer Hudson Show.
Chopra Jonas also shared on Tonight that she "had a great time" filming Heads of State opposite Idris Elba and John Cena.
In the film, Elba plays British prime minister Sam Clarke, while Cena portrays Will Derringer, an actor and the U.S. president.
Chopra stars as Noel Bisset, the M16 agent who rescues the pair after their plane is attacked.
"I have to bring them to safety, and we have a lot of fun stuff -- explosions and fun things that happen while we're doing it," she told Fallon.
Heads of State begins streaming on Prime Video July 2.

"We've always been obsessed with how people can mix sounds and genres," Danielle Haim said in a clip released to Instagram. "That's just always been our bag." The sisters also shared how the album's title, I Quit, is a reference to a scene in the film That Thing You Do when Jimmy (Johnathon Schaech) sings those words into a microphone in the studio. Haim also released the official audio Friday for the song "Million Years" on YouTube. I Quit is out Friday in record stores and on streaming platforms.

Look: Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun attend 'Squid Game' Season 3 premiere
June 19 (UPI) -- Lee Jung-jae and Lee Byung-hun were among the Squid Game cast members to attend the premiere of the Korean drama series' third and final season Wednesday. The event took place at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. Lee Jung-jae portrays Gi-hun, or player 456, on the show, which follows the participants in a life-or-death game. In the previous season, Gi-hun tried and failed to destroy the game. Jung-jae, 52, wore a long blazer over a white mesh shirt to the premiere. Lee Byung-hun portrays Hwang In-ho, or the Front Man, in the series. He wore a white pin-striped suit Wednesday. In a recent interview on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, Byung-hun said more characters will learn Front Man's identity in Season 3. Show creator and director Hwang Dong-hyuk was also in attendance. He wore an oversized navy blue blazer and wire-rimmed glasses. Other Squid Game cast members to step out Wednesday included Jo Yu-ri, Park Sung-hoon, Kang Ae-sim and Yim Si-wan. Season 3 arrives on Netflix June 27.

The King and Idris Elba team up for new Netflix documentary film
The King and British actor Idris Elba have teamed up for a new Netflix film about the charity that 'changed' the star's life. The film will explore The King's Trust – a youth charity set up by Charles when he was the Prince of Wales, as it celebrates its 50th anniversary – to highlight how the charity has helped young people around the world, documenting 'the power of believing in young people'. The Luther star, who was a beneficiary of a grant from the trust, will accompany the King as he shares insights into his support for the charity. Elba said: 'The King's Trust gave me an opportunity that changed my life. 'At a time when I didn't have the resources to pursue my ambitions, they offered real, practical support — including financial help — that helped me take those first steps to advance my career. 'Around the world, millions are still waiting for that one door to open. This documentary is about shining a light on what's possible when it does — and why the work of The King's Trust remains so important.' Formerly known as The Prince's Trust, the charity was set up by Charles to help disadvantaged young people overcome challenging circumstances, get into employment or launch their own businesses. It has since become one of the UK's leading youth organisations and has helped more than 1.3 million young people to date with celebrity ambassadors including former England football manager Sir Gareth Southgate and presenters Ant and Dec. Jonathan Townsend, UK chief executive of The King's Trust, said: 'At its heart, this is a documentary about the power of believing in young people. It's about an idea, driven by a young Prince who was determined to make a positive difference, that when young people are supported to succeed, we all succeed. 'Almost 50 years on, the momentum behind this idea has seen more than 1.3 million young people supported in over 20 countries around the world, including more than a million in the UK alone, through the work of The King's Trust. 'Nobody understands the impact of this work better than those who have experienced the support we offer first hand. As a long-term supporter and former beneficiary of The Trust himself, Idris will undoubtedly bring a unique perspective to this groundbreaking documentary as he peels back the layers of our story and shows how our life-changing work is as relevant today as it has ever been.'
