Jordan Brand'scelebration of the 40th anniversary of theAir Jordan 1has been one of the sneaker highlights of the year. While there's still plenty more launches to look forward to, including everything from anotherfragment design x Travis Scottlow-top colorway to the return of the'Shattered Backboard'high-tops, rumors regarding the model's 2026 lineup are starting to surface.
A newreportfrom the sneaker leaker trio of zSneakerHeadz, Sneaker Files, and Sneaker Market RO has indicated that the Air Jordan 1's 'Banned' look will be making its return in 2026. However, rather than grace the high-top version of the shoe like it did in 2011, it is said to be arriving on theAir Jordan 1 Low OG. While we lack a first look at the shoe, you can expect the classic 'Bred' color blocking to host an 'X' at the heel while arriving in special packaging.
At the time of writing, Jordan Brand has not yet confirmed that the 'Banned' treatment will be hitting the Air Jordan 1 Low OG next year. Stay tuned for updates, including a first look at the rumored shoe, as we currently expect it to drop next summer via Nike SNKRS and select retailers worldwide.

Country Music Icon Zach Top Announces Baby's Gender — And It's an Epic Fail

Country Music Icon Zach Top Announces Baby's Gender — And It's an Epic Fail originally appeared on Parade. Note to self: maybe don't let Zach Top reveal the gender of your baby. One brave couple thought they had the perfect plan for their gender reveal, but things went hilariously wrong when the country superstar tried to help them out in front of hundreds of thousands of people at the West Virginia State Fair. The moment started innocently enough. During his performance, Top spotted a couple in the crowd holding up a sign that caught his attention. Getting a closer look, he realized they wanted him to do something pretty special — reveal the gender of their unborn child to the entire audience. Always one to connect with his fans, Top grabbed the paper from the expectant parents, ready to make their moment unforgettable. However, as he prepared to make the big announcement, he discovered a major problem, the page was completely blank. Somewhat confused and probably feeling the pressure of hundreds of thousands of eyes on him, the singer quickly flipped the paper over. That's when he found the gender written on the back — but not before accidentally showing the answer to the entire crowd first. Realizing his mistake, Top tried to salvage the moment. "I messed that up. If you didn't see it… IT'S A GIRL. Congratulations, Kelsey and Dalton, you're having a baby girl!" he announced, doing his best to create suspense after everyone had already seen the reveal. The crowd cheered on anyway, and after, Top signed the paper as a keepsake before returning to the microphone with an apology. "I botched it a little bit," he admitted to the audience, explaining that it was his first time attempting a gender reveal during one of his shows. Despite the less-than-smooth execution, both the crowd and Top were thrilled for the happy couple. The whole experience was so chaotic that it might just inspire the couple to keep things a bit more low-key for baby number two. The impromptu gender reveal has become one of the most talked-about moments from Top's busy touring schedule. He's currently crisscrossing the country on his Cold Beer & Country Music headlining tour, and recently announced additional venues he'll be hitting throughout the fall. He recently dropped "South Of Sanity," the second track from his highly anticipated sophomore album, Ain't In It For My Health, which hits shelves August 29. Zach Top Does Slick Country Balladry Like Few Others on New Song ‘South of Sanity'

Zach Top struggles to balance a relationship with a life on the road in his new ballad 'South of Sanity.' The latest track released off his forthcoming album Ain't in It for My Health, out Aug. 29, is a slice of slick and satisfying Eighties balladry, with pristine production from Top's producer Carson Chamberlain. In the first verse, Top establishes that he's far from home, playing yet another gig on the rodeo circuit. This one's in Montana, while his lover, saying 'I love you' and crying over the phone, is 2,000 miles away, begging him to come back. But Top is due to walk onstage — now with a head full of drama. 'When we hung up she was talking leaving/Now how am I supposed to sing and play?' he sings, finding himself 'somewhere south of sanity/just north of insane.' The Washington state native is currently on the road with Dierks Bentley's Broken Branches tour, and will play his own headlining dates on his Cold Beer & Country Music tour, beginning in September and running through November. Ain't in It for My Health is Top's follow-up to his 2024 debut, Cold Beer & Country Music. In June, he delivered a sterling set at Telluride Bluegrass Festival that drew on his own bluegrass roots. 'This is on the Mount Rushmore of festivals,' Top told Rolling Stone following his set. 'You can sit there, play a show, and just look at the hills.'
