Detroit-Based Wearable Technology Company Introduces World's First Perpetual Smart Ring Featuring Clinical-Grade Sensors & Bionic Design
DETROIT, MI - July 7, 2025 - Bond, a Detroit-based consumer wearable technology company, today announced the official launch of the Bond Ring™, positioning itself as the most advanced wearable wellness device in the smart ring market. The groundbreaking technologies integrates 11 breakthrough capabilities while being powered by the company's patent-pending LifeDrive technology, marking a significant advancement in wearable health monitoring.
Revolutionary Bionic Design Sets New Industry Standard
The Bond Ring distinguishes itself from conventional smart rings through its innovative bionic design that wraps ergonomically around the finger, departing from traditional "sliced tube" concepts. This patent-pending approach is developed using Dassault Systèmes' CATIA V6 platform, the same software utilized by Medtronic for medical implant engineering, representing four years of intensive research and development.
"The global wearable technology market reached $84.2 billion in 2024 and continues expanding at a considerable rate," said Marc Wilson, Chief Marketing Officer at Bond. "Our patent-pending bionic design, clinical-grade sensor integration and strong partnerships with some of the largest players in vital signs monitoring - position Bond Ring as the ultimate long term monitoring tool for health enthusiasts, clinics and professionals."
Advanced Technology Partnerships Drive Innovation
The device incorporates space-grade PCB fabrication processes and components typically reserved for advanced drones, satellite imaging, and medical implants. Through partnerships with industry leaders including Analog Devices, Infineon, and AMS-Osram, Bond Ring delivers comprehensive health monitoring capabilities previously unavailable in consumer wearables.
Key technological innovations include two pole body composition analysis providing relative breakdowns of body fat, muscle, bone, and visceral fat percentages alongside single-lead ECG monitoring for atrial fibrillation detection.
The device introduces environmental sensing capabilities measuring UV exposure, ambient light, temperature, and noise levels, the first wearable solution to assess how environmental factors impact sleep quality.
The patent-pending Bionic Feedback system utilizes electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) to deliver whisper-quiet morning alarms and critical notifications without disturbing others.
Additionally, the TrueTemp technology employs a clinical-grade digital temperature sensor array to accurately detect body temperature variations regardless of environmental conditions, advancing immune system monitoring and women's health tracking.
AI-Powered Health Insights, Professional Integration and Customization
The accompanying Bond Ring App empowers users to create custom workflows and automations while securely sharing health data with healthcare professionals. The device integrates with Bond's proprietary Genome PRO platform, featuring advanced AI algorithms and long-duration raw data logging capabilities developed in collaboration with leading longevity clinics.
Bond Ring's patent pending swappable panel system allows users to customize their device's appearance with various materials ranging from cost effective disposable panels to true 18K gold-plated finishes. This innovative approa3ch reduces electronic waste by enabling panel replacement rather than complete device replacement when damaged or for aesthetic preferences.
Advanced Manufacturing and Future Medical Applications
The company's strategic partnerships unlock access to advanced manufacturing processes and exotic materials typically reserved for aerospace and medical applications. This partnership enables Bond Ring to integrate cutting-edge sensor technology and algorithms backed by decades of vital-sign monitoring expertise.
Bond Ring's onboard artificial intelligence and ballistic sensing technology create the fastest heart rate tracking system available, utilizing motion and vital sign-triggered adaptive sampling. The device maintains water resistance and durability standards suitable for diverse user groups and activities.
Environmental Health Monitoring Breakthrough
The smart ring market's expansion reflects broader consumer trends toward discreet, multifunctional wearables that provide comprehensive health monitoring without compromising style or comfort. Bond Ring's clinical-grade sensors and secure communication protocols position the device for potential future medical device approvals and FDA clearance.
Environmental health monitoring represents a significant advancement in wearable technology, as Bond Ring becomes the first consumer device to correlate environmental factors with sleep quality and overall wellness. This capability addresses the growing understanding of how external conditions impact personal health outcomes.
Availability and Company Information
Bond Ring launches today with availability through the company's website at www.bondring.com. The device represents a new category of perpetual smart rings designed for continuous health monitoring without frequent charging requirements.

Defamation case against Fox News highlights role of its hosts in promoting 2020 election falsehoods

NEW YORK — Court papers in a voting technology company's US$2.7 billion defamation lawsuit against Fox News point to Maria Bartiromo, Lou Dobbs and Jeanine Pirro as leaders in spreading false stories about election fraud in the weeks after Democrat Joe Biden's victory over U.S. President Donald Trump in 2020. Arguments for summary judgment by Smartmatic were filed in lightly redacted form this week at the New York Supreme Court. It's like a bad rerun for Fox: Similar revelations about its conduct following the 2020 election came in a lawsuit by another company falsely accused of doctoring votes, Dominion Voting Systems. Fox agreed to pay Dominion US$787 million in a 2023 settlement after the judge found it was 'CRYSTAL CLEAR' that none of the claims against the voting system company were true. In short: Fox let Trump aides spread conspiracy theories despite knowing they were false because it was what their viewers wanted to hear. Fox was trying to hold on to viewers who were angry at the network for saying Biden had won the election. Fox said it was covering a newsworthy story. It accuses the London-based company, which had only Los Angeles County as a client for the 2020 election, of exaggerating its claims of damages in the hope of receiving a financial windfall. Maria Bartiromo, Lou Dobbs and Jeanine Pirro From left: Maria Bartiromo in 2016, Lou Dobbs in 2017, Jeanine Pirro in 2015. (AP) Pirro now working in the second Trump administration The focus on Pirro is noteworthy because the former Fox personality now serves in Trump's second administration as U.S. attorney in Washington, D.C. Smartmatic, relying on emails and text messages revealed as part of the case, said Pirro was using her position as a Fox host in 2020 to help Trump and persuade him to pardon her ex-husband, Albert Pirro, who was convicted of conspiracy and tax evasion. Trump pardoned him before leaving office in 2021. In a text to then-Republican National Committee chairwoman Ronna McDaniel in September 2020, Pirro said, 'I'm the No. 1 watched show on news cable all weekend. I work so hard for the President and the party,' Smartmatic said in court papers. One of her own producers, Jerry Andrews, called Pirro a 'reckless maniac,' Smartmatic said. He texted after one of her shows in November that it was 'rife (with) conspiracy theories and bs and is yet another example of why this woman should never be on live television.' The court papers said Pirro also suggested 'evidence' of supposed fraud to Trump lawyer Sidney Powell that she could use on a television appearance — material that also was spread by Bartiromo. Bartiromo still works at Fox, and in 2020 had shows on both the news channel and Fox Business Network. The court papers uncovered messages showing her desire to help Trump: 'I am very worried. Please please please overturn this. Bring the evidence, I know you can,' she texted to Powell. Dobbs, whose business show was canceled by Fox in February 2021, texted to Powell four days after the election, saying 'I'm going to do what I can to help stop what is now a coup d'etat in (its) final days — perhaps moments," a reference to Biden's victory. Dobbs died in 2024. U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro speaks during a newss conference first about the indictment of an alleged Haitian gang leader and then about murders in Washington in 2024 and 2025, Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2025, at the U.S. Attorney... (AP Photo/Jacquelyn Martin) A central figure in Fox's 'pivot' Smartmatic portrayed Pirro as a central figure in Fox's 'pivot' to deemphasize Biden's victory because it angered Trump fans. Instead, the network found that ratings jumped whenever claims of election fraud were discussed, it said. As in the Dominion case, the discovery process helped Smartmatic find messages and statements that seem embarrassing in retrospect. For example, in early December, Fox's Jesse Watters texted colleague Greg Gutfeld that 'Think of how incredible our ratings would be if Fox went ALL in on STOP THE STEAL.' Fox, in a response to the newly-revealed court papers, pointed to an ongoing corruption case involving Smartmatic and its executives, including a claim by federal prosecutors that it used money from the sale of voting machines to set up a 'slush fund' for bribing foreign officials. 'The evidence shows that Smartmatic's business and reputation were badly suffering long before any claims by U.S. President Trump's lawyers on Fox News and that Smartmatic grossly inflated its damage claims to generate headlines and chill free speech,' Fox said. 'Now, in the aftermath of Smartmatic's executives getting indicted for bribery charges, we are eager and ready to continue defending our press freedoms.' Smartmatic has already settled similar defamation claims against Newsmax and One America News Network in relation to their post-2020 election coverage. ___ David Bauder writes about the intersection of media and entertainment for the AP. Quintessential Consulting LLC Founder Dr. Natalie Callis Releases Framework to Replace Optics with Presence

NEW YORK, NY - In an era where executive presence is too often mistaken for polish, optics, and perfect soundbites, Dr. Natalie Callis, founder of Quintessential Consulting LLC, is challenging the status quo. She has released a new leadership framework that shifts the focus from outward appearances to authentic, internal presence — redefining how leaders connect, influence, and inspire. Dr. Callis' approach is grounded in the belief that presence is not about aesthetics or eloquence. Instead, it is the byproduct of energetic congruence — the alignment of personal integrity with professional influence. 'Executive presence isn't about visibility—it's about creating a connection that is unmistakably you,' says Dr. Callis. From Performance to Presence The spark for this shift came during Dr. Callis' decades-long career in healthcare leadership, where she observed how organizations often rewarded performance and optics over depth and authenticity. Meetings became more about the right language than the right leadership. Success was measured in image management rather than meaningful impact. For Dr. Callis, the turning point was realizing that true influence comes when a leader's energy, values, and actions are fully aligned. 'It wasn't enough for me to teach presence,' she explains. 'I had to live it — in the boardrooms, in the breakdowns, and in the bold moves.' The New Framework for Authentic Leadership Dr. Callis' new framework replaces outdated notions of executive presence with a model rooted in energetic congruence. This means helping leaders: Identify their internal compass before shaping external perception. Replace perfectionism with clarity in decision-making and communication. Align personal integrity with organizational influence to create lasting trust. The framework is designed to work across industries but is especially impactful in high-stakes leadership roles where leaders must navigate competing demands without losing themselves. Why This Matters Now In today's high-visibility, high-pressure business landscape, leaders are often expected to project confidence and authority even when internally uncertain or burned out. Dr. Callis argues that this disconnect fuels executive fatigue and erodes authenticity at every level of leadership. Her solution: build presence from the inside out so that what leaders project is not a façade but a natural extension of who they truly are. About Dr. Natalie Callis Dr. Natalie Callis is a board-certified executive coach, healthcare executive, and leadership strategist with over 25 years of experience leading and coaching professionals in high-stakes environments. She is the founder of the Maslow-Informed Leadership Model: The Ascent to Unfiltered Leadership, a groundbreaking approach that helps executives unlearn the performative reflexes that compromise identity, integrity, and leadership impact. Her methodology combines neuroscience and strategic development to rehumanize leadership at every level. With a background in healthcare, systems psychology, and leadership science, Natalie works with Fortune 500 leaders, mission-driven CEOs, and senior executives navigating complex leadership dynamics. About Quintessential Consulting LLC Based in New York, NY, Quintessential Consulting LLC is a leadership development and executive coaching firm serving healthcare leaders, C-suite executives, and high-performing professionals.
