Mumbai-based Cinefai Studios recently unveiled the trailer for their newest venture, 'Ramayana' — an episodic series entirely created using advanced AI technology.
Film critic Taran Adarsh shared the trailer on X, also noting that the first episode is already available. The trailer presents a visually captivating retelling of the legendary story of Ram and Sita, using next-gen visual techniques. Viewers can watch it on the studio's official Instagram and YouTube channels.

However, it remains to be seen whether this tech-driven adaptation can retain the emotional and cultural depth of Valmiki's original epic centered on Rama, Sita, and Hanuman.

At the same time, Bollywood is preparing a massive cinematic version of the 'Ramayana', directed by Nitesh Tiwari. This big-budget film, split into two parts, is being produced with a staggering budget of over ₹4,000 crore. It will reportedly use extensive VFX and incorporate AI-generated dubbing technology.
The cast includes Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman and more. The first part is expected to release during Diwali 2026, with the second following in 2027.
