Logano 'P***ed Off' After Bell Gave Him 'No Option' In NASCAR All-Star Race
Team Penske driver Joey Logano missed out on the $1 million prize in the NASCAR All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro Speedway after seeing his lead slip away.
Logano shared his frustrations after being edged out by Christopher Bell, who went on to celebrate on Victory Lane, while speaking to the media after the race. He explained:
"I'm glad you had a blast. I'm p***ed off right now. Just dang it, we had the fastest car. The Shell-Pennzoil Mustang was so fast. I'm trying to choose my words correctly on the caution situation.
"Obviously I got bit by it, so I am the one frustrated. I felt like the falloff wasn't too bad as the sun went down, and yeah, six cars or so stayed out with us. Thought maybe we could hold him off, but [Bell] had a good enough restart, cleared too many of them too fast. I couldn't get away in time. It took me six, seven laps to get my car up and rolling again.
Joey Logano, driver of the #22 Shell Pennzoil Ford, waits on the grid prior to the NASCAR Cup Series All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro Speedway on May 18, 2025 in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina.

Kind of just ran me up into the wall, and if I could've got to him, he was going around after a move like that, I just couldn't get back to him. Just too much to try to make up with the tire deficit."
The 34-year-old added:
"Just frustrated after you lead so many laps and the car is so fast and you don't win, it hurts quite a bit. ... Yeah, I'm all about no gimmicks with the caution. I am all about that. Me and Marcus Smith aren't seeing eye to eye right now, OK? I've got to have a word with him.
"It's all you've got. I was hoping I could just fight him long enough to where the advantage would go away a little bit, but it just never did. I did as best I can blocking my butt off, but once he got under me just released the brake and gave me no option to either fence it and wreck or run up in the marbles and spin out like what happened to Heim in the Truck race. I get it.
"We're racing for a million bucks, but things carry over all the time, but it just stings. I'm upset because we had the best car. We had the best car by a long shot and we didn't win. I don't know. A lot of things are running through my mind I probably shouldn't say."

I-TEAM: Senate leaders introduce new funding plan for Browns dome
CLEVELAND (WJW) — The FOX 8 I-Team has found state Senate leaders have introduced a new proposal to help the Browns get $600 million in state funding to help build a dome. **See the archived blog with updates at the bottom of this page** New developments in Cleveland's fight to keep the Browns downtown Senate leaders promise 'this' plan would mean less risk to taxpayers than what has been talked about until now. The Browns have asked for $600 million in bond money to be paid back with profits from the project. State Democratic senators tell the I-Team the Senate Finance Committee is now proposing using money from Ohio's unclaimed funds to pay for the dome. The current total of unclaimed funds in Ohio is $4.8 billion, with $528 million received in fiscal year 2024 alone. More tax money requested to build Browns dome site as group support grows: I-Team A final state budget must be approved by the end of this month. This is a developing story. New Porsche Hypercar Teased as Modern 911 GT1 Successor
In a black-and-white YouTube video hashtagged #RACEBORN, Porsche has teased its upcoming 963 RSP, a one-off road-going version of the LMDh racecar that won races in WEC and IMSA. Back in April, Porsche hinted at an upcoming street-legal hypercar by highlighting its 1975 917 race car, which was also converted for street use. Now we know that the imminent reveal will be of the road-legal version of the 2023 963 endurance racer that won twice at the 24 Hours of Daytona. The 963 RSP is presumed to be built for Roger Seale Penske - hence the "RSP" moniker that's never been used on a Porsche before. Penske owns the team that runs Porsche's factory endurance-racing program, and is the most successful team owner in motor-racing history, winning four out of five championships in 2024 alone in the FIA WEC and IMSA seasons. The car is expected to stay true to the racer, with the same twin-turbocharged 4.6-liter V8, hybrid system, and seven-speed sequential transmission. Porsche has done this before when it handcrafted a single road-legal example of the 1996 911 GT1 Le Mans racer that competed in the GT1 class in the 24 Hours of Le Mans - which it called the 911 GT1 Strassenversion. The 963 RSP is similarly handcrafted, and in Porsche's teaser video, Porsche workers sand down carbon-fiber panels, mix paint, do interior stitchwork, and generally apply their specialist trades to finish the one-of-one masterpiece. With the teasers now starting, it won't be long before one of the most covetable Porsches of the modern era is revealed to the world. Copyright 2025 The Arena Group, Inc. All Rights Reserved.

NASCAR Power Rankings: Kyle Larson unseated at the top after Nashville
Cup teams are getting their last chances to race on intermediate-style tracks, ones that are more than 1 mile and have moderate banking. They are coming off four races at those tracks (Texas, Kansas, Charlotte and Nashville) and then have upcoming races at Michigan (this weekend) and Pocono (in three weeks following Mexico City). So the drivers who have been strong in the last month very well could be the ones who thrive in the playoffs, which has one intermediate-track race in each of the first three rounds. That said, here are this week's power rankings following Ryan Blaney's victory at Nashville: Dropped out: Alex Bowman (LW: 8) On the verge: Bowman, Chris Buescher, Kyle Busch, Austin Cindric, Erik Jones, Bubba Wallace 10. Chase Briscoe (Last Week: 7) Briscoe has won back-to-back poles but saw a two-race streak of top-5 finishes end as he placed 17th at Nashville. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver led 51 laps Sunday. 9. Joey Logano (LW: NR) Maybe a little overshadowed by Blaney's win was another top-5 finish from a Team Penske driver. Joey Logano finished fourth for his third top-10 finish in his last four starts. 8. Ross Chastain (LW: 9) It wasn't a win but an 11th-place finish at Nashville was respectable. He is showing better speed as he started fifth. The Trackhouse driver has moved up to ninth in the standings. 7. Tyler Reddick (LW: 10) Reddick finished second in the opening stage (thanks to some pit strategy) and wound up ninth at Nashville. A ninth might not sound great, but it was the best finish for the 23XI Racing driver in his last six starts. 6. Chase Elliott (LW: 6) It was a meh day at Nashville for Elliott, who finished 15th. And yet he is still fifth in the standings as he consistently is finishing races — he hasn't placed worse than 20th all year. He has just one top-5 finish, though, in his last seven starts. 5. Christopher Bell (LW: 3) Bell was involved in a wreck on Lap 119 and still came back to finish 10th. Finishes such as that amid some adversity is why people think this Joe Gibbs Racing driver can vie for the championship again. 4. Denny Hamlin (LW: 4) Hamlin led 79 laps and finished third at Nashville in a race where he started on the front row. The JGR driver won the opening stage and stayed up front for most of the night. 3. Ryan Blaney (LW: 5) Finally! A win for Blaney, who has had five finishes of 25th or worse and now six top-5 finishes on the year. The Penske driver led a race-high 139 laps at Nashville. 2. Kyle Larson (LW: 1) Larson had a tough day at Nashville, his second consecutive frustrating Cup weekend. He finished this one, though, and ended up eighth as he and the team were able to improve on the car throughout the event. 1. William Byron (LW: 2) Byron finished fifth at Nashville but moves into the No. 1 spot as he was fourth in the first stage and second in the second stage — and ran among the leaders for much of the night, maybe not as much as a week earlier at Charlotte but he continues to show he's a threat and a driver they will have to beat.
