Taim Hassan to Participate in Ramadan 2026 Drama Marathon

Syrian actor, Taim Hassan is preparing for a new TV series, which he plans to participate in during the Ramadan 2026 drama marathon.
The series is produced by Cedars Art Production and sees Hassan teaming up with "
Taht Sabaa Ard
" director Samer Al Barkawi.

The cast also includes Muna Wassef, Caresse Bashar, Muhammad Hadaki, Anas Tayara, and more.
"Taht Sabaa Ard" consisted of 30 episodes and was hailed from sscriptwriter Omar Abusaada.
The official logline for the series' reads: "When the honourable officer Moussa discovers that his siblings are counterfeiting dollar bills, he's caught in a moral trap: either let them face the criminal underworld or take the reins of a dirty game to shield them."
Hassan, born on February 17, 1976, in the coastal city of Tartous, Syria in an area known as Sheikh Badr.
In 1980, the actor moved to the capital Damascus with his family, where he lived and studied to join the High Institute for Dramatic Arts in 2001.
Hassan was first rejected and then re-applied to be admitted at the same time when renowned actor Jamal Soleiman was the head of the judging panel.
He finished his studies and graduated in 2001. Since his graduation, the actor was able to establish himself through taking influential roles in some of the most renowned Syrian television series.
Hassan achieved fame in Syria through a number of highly acclaimed and extremely successful Syrian series most notably "Saladin", "Taifas", "Nizar Qabbani", and "The Waiting".
In 2007, he received his title role in the Egyptian series "King Farouk", which established him as one of the leading stars in the Arab world and earned him the best actor award from Egyptian audiences and critics.
Hassan collaborated with Hatem Ali, one of Syria's leading directors, in a majority of his series such as "The Philanderer Salem", "Saladin", "Taifas", and "King Farouk".
On July 1, 2004, he married the Syrian actress Dima Bayaa. They have two children named Ward and Fahad. In 2012, Hassan and Bayaa announced their divorce after 10 years of marriage. He married Egyptian TV presenter, Wafaa El Kilani in 2017.

"Faat El Maad" Unveils Posters and Teaser

Yara Sameh The official posters and teaser for Egyptian stars Asma Abulyazeid and Ahmed Magdy's TV series "Faat El Maad" have been unveiled. The drama consists of 30 episodes and marks the second collaboration between the pair after the 2019 TV series "El Anesa Farah". "Faat El Maad" also stars Mahmoud El-Bezzawy, Salwa Mohamed Ali,Mohamed Ali Rizk, Ahmed Safwat, Hager Afifi, Mohamed Abu Dawood, Walaa El Sherif, and more. Saad Hendawy directed the series from a script by Atef Nashed, Islam Adham, and Nasser Abdel Hamid. Square Media is the studio behind the drama. "Faat El Maad" recently wrapped filming and is set to premiere soon during the off-season on the DMC and DMC TV Channels. Abulyazeid, born on July 10, 1990, has liked acting since young, but could not act in her school because there was no school theater, something that became available in college where she studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts. She participated in a large number of theatrical performances that were displayed at the Hanager Theater and competed for the Sheikh Sultan Al Qasimi Award for Best Theater Show in 2016. In 2017, Abulyazeid drew attention through her performance as Toka in the TV series "Hadha Almasa" (This Evening). Her TV credits also include "Al Nas" (2024), "Touba" (2022), "Al Ekhteyar 2: Regal El Zel" (2021), Hogan" (2019), "Zodiac" (2019), "Layali Eugenie" (2018), and "'Ana shahira ... 'ana alkhayin" (2017). Abulyazeid is also known for her roles in films such as "El Daawa Ammah" (2022), "Laylat Amar 14"(2022), "Mousa" (2021), "30 March" (2021), "El Kowayeseen" (2018), and "Hadha almasa'" (2017). Through a single night, 'Laylet Eid' explores issues such as gender-based violence, child marriage, and female genital mutilation.
