Jennifer Aniston slams Elon Musk's sex appeal in brutal take down

Daily Mail6 hours ago
Jennifer Aniston has played characters with myriads of love interests throughout her career.
They've been goofy, jealous paleontologists (Ross in Friends), passive unromantic types (Gary in The Break-Up), and even dental surgeons that pretend to be her husband... until they do actually tie the knot (Danny in Just Go With It).
But what she won't allow is anyone to say that her love interest even remotely resembles Elon Musk.
In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Jennifer, 56, spoke about her recent role as news anchor Alex Levy in The Morning Show.
The show covers the lives behind the people who report the news to you and tries to include real current events - including Donald Trump 's reelection.
'Making a TV show about political coverage in a deeply divisive time can be tricky,' Jennifer said. 'You want to appeal to all audiences.'
But when she speaks about her love interest in the show, it's clear she has a less neutral stance about certain subjects.
The brutal take down came after the interviewer suggested Alex's love interest, billionaire Paul Marks (played by Jon Hamm), reminded them of Elon Musk, 54, due to the pair both being 'daredevil rocket builders.'
However, Jennifer was quick to shut the comparison down as she scathingly responded: 'I don't find him desirable in any way or shape.'
In her own love life, Aniston has most recently been linked to wellness guru and hypnotherapist Jim Curtis, with reports claiming the two vacationed in Mallorca and Big Sur over the summer.
She had previously told Travel + Leisure she tried hypnosis to conquer her fear of flying.
While her rep declined to comment to Vanity Fair about the dating rumors, Aniston follows Curtis on social media, has liked his posts and in May shared a photo of his book Shift: Quantum Manifestation Guide: A Workbook for Coding a New Consciousness.
Within days of paparazzi shots from the Mallorca trip, Curtis' name was splashed across thousands of online stories.
Elsewhere in the interview, the Murder Mystery actress offered a rare, unguarded look into her private life as she confessed she often wrestles with 'what to and not to share.'
This included finally breaking her silence about Jimmy Wayne Carwyle, the 48-year-old man from Mississippi, who allegedly crashed his car into the gate of her $21 million Bel Air mansion.
Prosecutors say he had been sending her emails, voicemails, and social media messages for some time prior to her security detaining him until police arrived.
Carwyle, 48, has been charged with felony stalking, vandalism and threatening bodily harm and faces up to three years in jail after what one of Aniston's lawyers called 'a two-year campaign of harassment and stalking.'
He has since plead not guilty to felony stalking and felony vandalism, and at press time was deemed mentally incompetent to stand trial.
'People are out of their minds,' the actress said. 'Who wants to put that energy out there.'
She proceeded to stress her security detail, outside her home, is simply 'necessity' and 'not glamorous in any way.'

Billionaire bowling scion splits with wife after age gap affair with kids' former nanny

A Virginia billionaire bowling heir cheated on his wife with their kids' ex-nanny and demanded a divorce in a ruthless Christmas Day outburst, court documents reveal. Peter Goodwin, 40, the son of the former co-owner of the massive AMF Bowling chain William Goodwin, was admittedly unfaithful to his clinical psychologist wife, Cara Goodwin, 40. As Cara cared for their children, Peter was off allegedly wining and dining the woman once hired by the couple, according to court papers obtained by the New York Post. Annette Lombard, 27, started working for the ultra-wealthy family in 2019 while she studied at the University of Virginia. She lived with them full-time during the pandemic and started working at Peter's office. She was eventually promoted to vice president of his company. Cara was unsettled by how close Peter and Annette had become by the end of 2020, but when she expressed her discomfort, her concerns were 'dismissed,' according to the filings. In August 2023, Cara gave birth to her fourth child with Peter, and about a month later, her estranged husband 'began expressing strong desire for more independence and time away from his family to focus on his own self-care.' This 'self-care' may have included luxury sports car and watches with hefty price tags, as displayed on Peter's Instagram account. 'Just trying to keep the revs high,' his bio reads. His page is flooded with pictures of Ferraris and Rolexes, flaunting his lavish lifestyle to his nearly 17,000 followers. Peter allegedly felt that Christmas Day of the same year would be an appropriate time to tell Cara as she held their baby that their marriage was through, documents say. Cara 'sat in front of him holding their four-month-old daughter' as he abruptly broke the news and took off. As he left, he was allegedly belligerently screaming and cursing as all his kids - aged two, five, seven and nine - watched in horror. Peter and Annette launched into their full-fledged romance, indulging in luxurious stays at the Four Seasons Hotel in Florida less than a week later, according to court documents. Over the next several months, the pair 'engaged in adulterous acts' from Wyoming to Florida, allegedly staying at the place Peter and Cara have together. Peter officially filed for divorce in January 2025. There is a prenup in place and Cara wants half of their marital assets - including their companies - child support and $500,000 to cover legal fees. They have shared custody of their kids, as agreed upon last year. The New York Post reported that Peter filed to try to seal the divorce papers last month. Cara's legal team is against this motion. Cara and Peter got married in 2014. According to public records, they founded the Peter and Cara Goodwin Foundation. Peter also has multiple other businesses connected to his name. Cara, who holds a PhD, is the founder of Parenting Translator, a brand that has more than 135,000 Instagram followers. The best-selling author focuses her practice on advising parents on the best ways to raise their children. Her social media is filled with informative tips about parenting, as well as inspirational messages for people with kids. Peter's father, William, is one of Virginia's most prominent figures. William, 84, worked at IBM and Phillip Morris Worldwide before founding his own company, Commonwealth Computer Advisors (CCA) Industries, in 1971. CCA Industries and the Riverstone Group, a diversified holding company, had business interests that included lavish resorts and hotels. Since his retirement, William has been recognized for his philanthropy, especially in the realm of cancer research. He founded his own national cancer research foundation, The Red Gates Foundation, with a $250 million donation in 2021 in honor of his son Hunter, who lost his life to the disease. William also serves on the University of Virginia board. He was appointed twice- once by former Virginia Governor George Allen and again by ex-Governor Bob McDonnell.

Jennifer Garner treats her teen Fin, 16, to candy shopping spree at Rocket Fizz in LA

was ever the doting mom over the weekend as she treated her teen child Fin to a sweet treat. The actress, 53, and the 16-year-old were spotted at Rocket Fizz in Los Angeles on Sunday, where they browsed candy aisles before stocking up on some sugary treats. Rocket Fizz is known for its massive variety of sweets and hundreds of different soda flavors. After some bonding time the mother and daughter duo were pictured exiting the store with three bags in hand. Garner — who shares Fin as well as daughter Violet, 19, and son Samuel, 13, with ex-husband Ben Affleck, 52 — opted for a casual cool look in a striped t-shirt paired with blue jeans and sneakers. Her brunette tresses were pulled into a laid back bun for the outing, and her eyes shielded with sunglasses. Jennifer Garner, 53, was ever the doting mom over the weekend as she treated her teen child Fin, 16, to a sweet treat at Rocket Fizz in Los Angeles Meanwhile Fin rocked a black zip-up hoodie over a navy t-shirt, beige cargo shorts and sneakers. The duo were later seen loading up the goodies into the back of Garner's car. Her other two kids were not present for the outing, but last month the star took Violet and Samuel to lunch with her A-list pal Bradley Cooper, 50, in Malibu. They were seen leaving Japanese restaurant Nobu by the beach. Yale student Violet kept masked as a health precaution after revealing she had 'contracted a post-viral condition' in 2019. Garner and her eldest daughter seemed to have put any differences behind them following an essay Violet wrote about the Pacific Palisades fires and climate change while at Yale last semester. In July 2024, Violet advocated for the wearing of masks before the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors after she 'contracted a post-viral condition in 2019.' The teen continued her public advocacy with an essay she turned into her university's Global Health Review which was titled A Chronically Ill Earth: COVID Organizing as a Model Climate Response in Los Angeles. The two were later seen loading up the goodies into the back of Garner's car She began the paper with the attention catching, 'I spent the January fires in Los Angeles arguing with my mother in a hotel room. She was shell-shocked, astonished at the scale of destruction in the neighborhood where she raised myself and my siblings.' The essay continued to compare climate change to the global Covid-19 pandemic, arguing that 'our bewildered response to crises like the LA fires tell us we may still be accustomed to addressing the climate crisis like the COVID-19 pandemic: as a question of how fast we can get back around to pretending like the problem is gone.' Neither Garner, nor Violet's dad Ben, have commented on the paper. Meanwhile Fin previously joined Garner and Affleck as well as brother Samuel at the Boston Red Sox game in July. Affleck was married to the 13 Going On 30 actress from 2005 until their divorce was finalized in 2018. However, the pair have maintained a positive co-parenting relationship. In June, the actress - who is currently dating John Miller - shared a Father's Day tribute to her ex-husband. At the time, she uploaded a rare throwback photo of the Gone Girl star as one of their children - who had been a newborn - rested on his chest. In text added below the sweet picture, Jennifer typed out: 'Happy Father's Day to 3 people's favorite landing spot.' Last year during an interview with People, Garner got candid about raising her three kids and shared that she found it 'hard' to let them make their own decisions as they get older. 'I'm just watching them in this new phase of life where they're figuring out who they're going to be and what they're going to study,' she explained. 'And I'm so interested in them. All the time, I'm interested in everything about them.' The actress later admitted to the outlet, 'I have a really hard time not saying, "This is what I see you as," and "I think you should." I really have to sit on my hand.'
