Gambler bets 88 cents on slot machine — then hits jackpot at Las Vegas casino
A gambler walked away from a Las Vegas casino with a jackpot prize after betting some change.
The player sat at a Money Gong slot machine at the Durango Casino & Resort, the casino said in a May 11 post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The visitor bet 88 cents, hit spin and watched as the symbols flashed across the screen until a jackpot message appeared.
'Congrats to the lucky guest that just turned .88 into a $15,312.57 win on Money Gong,' the casino wrote on X.
The Durango Casino & Resort is about a 10-mile drive southwest from the Las Vegas Strip.
Other gamblers also have won big prizes at Vegas casinos recently.
One player bet $25 on a Dragon Link slot machine at Binion's Gambling Hall & Hotel and won more than $16,000.
Another gambler won more than $20,000 at Sam's Town Hotel & Gambling Hall off a Pinball Double Gold slot game.

Elsewhere, in her caption, Escobar explained that when she used the word, she was "speaking casually in conversation" and wasn't thinking "deeply or critically" about how her words could impact others. "The truth is, I didn't know better then, but I do now. I've taken the time to reflect, to learn, and to grow from that moment," she added. "I've changed a lot since then, not just in how I speak, but in how I show up, how I carry myself, and how I honor the experiences of others," Escobar continued. "Growth means recognizing when you were wrong, even if it's uncomfortable, and choosing to move forward with humility and accountability." As she finished, the now-former reality star explained that she was choosing to speak for herself and did not want anyone commenting on her behalf. "I'm choosing to speak for myself because I take full ownership of my actions. Do not listen to the fake statements. This is my official statement. This is me, speaking directly to you," she wrote. On X, formerly Twitter, many "Love Island" viewers voiced their opinions about Escobar's statement, with many questioning its sincerity. "Girl, you just got kicked out of the villa," one user wrote. "How much time have you really taken to reflect on this?" "I understand why they chose to have her exit the villa, but she didn't learn anything by that," another user commented. Kenya Moore Reacts to RHOA Reunion Disinvite: ‘Back on Bravo Soon'
It's official — Kenya Moore will not appear at the Season 16 Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion. Bravo just dropped the seating chart for the sitdown, which confirmed that Kenya was not on the premises. Oddly enough, her nemesis Brit Eady didn't show up either. The cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta sat down with Andy Cohen to film the Season 16 reunion on Thursday, June 5. Weeks before the taping, Kenya said that she was 'disinvited' by the network. She also criticized Bravo for not having her back when Brit made the comments about having a weapon. While the cameras were rolling on the reunion, Kenya posted on social media.
