Collector inspects Bhu Bharati revenue meet
The Collector assured that people need not worry about their land issues and promised that justice would be done to everyone through the Bhu Bharati initiative. He directed the revenue officials to take steps to quickly clear the applications received during the event. He advised that wherever possible issues should be resolved on the spot and notices related to succession should be issued immediately.
As many as 28 applications were received from the village. The Gopalpet mandal was selected as a pilot project area; from May 5 revenue meets are being conducted in various villages in the mandal. So far 322 applications have been received. RDO Subrahmanyam, Gopalpet tahsildar Pandu, and revenue staff accompanied the collector.

Complete tender process for supply eggs to residential schools; stay there for at least a day a week: Telangana Ministers to Collectors
Telangana district collectors were directed to stay at residential schools for at least a day in a week to check the maintenance of the amenities. They were asked to complete the tender process for supply of eggs at the earliest. Ministers Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Ponnam Prabhakar, Konda Surekha and Adluri Lakshman Kumar held a video conference with the collectors on Tuesday (July 22, 2025). They reviewed the implementation of Indiramma Indlu, Bhu Bharati, basic amenities in residential schools, Mahalakshmi scheme and other programmes. The Ministers were particular that there was no compromise in the quality of food that was being supplied to students of residential schools. Officials concerned should regularly conduct inspections on the amenities in these institutions to get first hand information. Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao instructed the collectors to further improve the quality of food in line with the hike in the diet charges effected by the government. In addition, they should ensure that basic amenities were provided in all these schools to not give scope for any complaints and avoid inconvenience to the boarders. Steps should be taken to ensure sanitation in the institutions as well as protection of the green cover, and convene meetings with the parents committees once in a month. They have directed collectors to play a proactive role in ensuring that the benefits of the flagship schemes launched in the State effectively reached the beneficiaries at the grass root level. About the Indiramma houses, collectors were directed to take steps to see that all eligible families were covered under the scheme and efforts should be made to expeditiously complete the construction of these houses. Steps should be taken to see that there was no shortage of sand required for the construction of Indiramma houses. It was the responsibility of the district administration to ensure that beneficiaries were not put to difficulties in transporting the sand. The State Government had decided to review the progress of Indiramma houses once a week through video conference, the Ministers said directing the districts' administration to resolve the complaints registered through Bhu Bharati speedily.

Farmers being misled on urea shortage: BJP
The BJP has accused the Congress Government of sowing the seeds of doubt into the minds of farmers in Telangana about the purported shortage of urea for the Rabi season, even when the Centre had actually supplied three lakh metric tonnes more. Addressing the farmers' wing (Kisan Morcha) of the party, during a meeting of its office-bearers at the State BJP office here on Thursday, party president N. Ramchander Rao said that the 'urea shortage bogey' is being created by the ruling party only to reap the benefit during the forthcoming local body polls. The BJP chief charged the government with spreading falsehoods when the Centre had supplied 12.02 lakh metric tonnes of urea for the 24-25 agriculture season, when the demand was just 9.5 lakh metric tonnes. In fact, under the Modi Government, necessary steps were taken to provide ample supply of fertilizers to farmers across the country and also in dealing with black marketers with an iron hand, unlike the UPA regime 'where farmers were forced to stand in queues for obtaining it', he added. Yet, the Congress Government here wants to mislead farmers and to cover up its own failures in not ensuring proper payment of Rythu Bharosa, which has been cut from the promised ₹15,000 during the elections to ₹12,000, but now ₹6,000 is being credited into farmers' accounts, he said. Mr. Ramchander Rao also said that the farmers' welfare scheme payment was made last month only after the High Court had directed the local body polls to be held by September end. It has been 19 months since the Government has come to power but there has been no movement to provide the farm insurance which would help the famers during natural calamities under the PM Fasal Bima Yojana and following the BRS Government in this connection, he said. The former MLC also questioned the government about the Bhu Bharati module replacing the controversial Dharani of BRS regime and said it is marked with technical glitches. 'Farmers are forced to run around registration offices for justice still and there is a lack of accountability from the administration side. We should go to the local level and highlight farmers' grievances,' he advised the wing. The BJP leader said such is the sad financial condition in the State that retired employees are being denied benefits and made to run from pillar to post. General secretary G. Premender Reddy, farmers' wing national executive member G. Madhusudhan Reddy and others were present. Medak tour Mr. Ramchander Rao will tour Medak district and participate in various programmes, organised by the BJP, in Narsapur, Chegonta, Medak, and Toopran, on Friday, said a press release.

The state government is always supportive of women's advancement
On Wednesday, the Indira Mahila Shakti Sambarala was organized grandly at the Royal Function Hall in Madanapur and Kothakota, two mandals of Devarakadra constituency, under the auspices of the District Rural Development Department. Devarakadra MLA G. Madhusudhan Reddy and District Collector Adarsh Surabhi participated in this program as chief guests. Speaking on the occasion, the legislators said that the country's first female Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi, was known as the Iron Lady. They recalled that she defeated Pakistan in the 1971 war with Pakistan without bowing to American mediation and divided Pakistan into two parts. The state government is working tirelessly with the aim that only if women are economically empowered under the rule of such an iron lady, Indira Gandhi, families will be better off. The government has provided free travel in RTC buses to women in the state and has paid Rs. 6500 crore to the RTC management, he said. He said that up to 200 units of free electricity will be provided to 43 thousand families in the Devarakadra constituency. For this, Rs. 1.26 crore has been paid to the power department. He said that a cylinder will be provided for just Rs. 500. He said that farmers have been given farmer assurance under investment assistance for agricultural cultivation through farmer assurance. He said that since farmers are facing difficulties due to Dharani, the Dharani Act has been implemented in the Bay of Bengal and the Bhu Bharati Act has been brought in to benefit the farmers in the country. He informed that revenue conferences will be held and the problems of farmers' lands will be solved. New government hospitals will be built to strengthen education and medicine. He said that an integrated residential school will be built at a cost of Rs. 200 crore. To strengthen women financially, school uniforms are being sewn by women's groups. Soon a petrol station will be set up for women at Miraspalli, Kothakota. He said that RTC buses have been made owners. He said that an opportunity has been provided in Shilparamam to members of women's groups to go to Hyderabad and sell the goods made and benefit from them. Y.S. He said that steps have been taken to restart the Abhaya Hastam scheme introduced when Rajasekhar Reddy was the Chief Minister. He said that he has left the legal profession and is engaged in public service. He said that he is working to establish a Brahmos missile factory in Devarakadra at a cost of Rs. 2000 crore and to set up a dry port at Addakula. District Collector Adarsh Surabhi, who participated in the program, said that in any family where the woman is financially strong, that family will be financially well. If the woman in the family is educated, the entire family will be educated. That is why the government has sanctioned interest-free loans for women's financial self-reliance. He said that the interest of 15.5 crores has been refunded to the accounts of women's associations in the district. He said that a total of Rs. 3.44 crores has been sanctioned to two mandals in Devarakadra. He said that banks are ready to provide loans and encourage women to start businesses. He said that skill training will also be provided to start businesses. He said that a skill training center will be set up in the district soon. He said that a Women's Federation building will be constructed in Wanaparthy at a cost of Rs. 5 crore so that the District Women's Federations and Mandal Women's Federations will have their own buildings. He said that 50 thousand uniforms have been sewn by the Women's Federation members for students studying in government schools. Rice purchasing centers have been given to the Women's Federations. Women's Power Canteens have been set up in government offices. He informed that the government is ready to encourage women by providing bank loans if they come forward to do business in their preferred fields. Uma Devi, who presided over the program, explained the programs undertaken by the government for women's empowerment in Wanaparthy district. He said that from now on, members of women's federations will be given an insurance of Rs. 10 lakh in case of accidental death. Similarly, loan insurance has also been provided. He said that if the woman who took the loan dies, the loan will be waived. Later, 5 best members of women's federations were felicitated from the Mandal Federation. A cheque for Rs. 8.30 crore for interest-free bank loans for the year 2025-26 was given to women's groups. Accident insurance and loan insurance cheques of Rs. 2.38 lakh were handed over to the mandal women's associations, and a cheque of Rs. 6529903 was handed over to the Kothakota Municipality. A cheque of Rs. 138936 for the rent received from the RTC bus was handed over to the members of the women's associations. Adarapu Collector Local Bodies In-charge Yadayya, Madhapur Market Committee Chairman Prashanth, Market Yard Director Pavani, District Women's Association President Swaroopa, Mandal Association Presidents Chennamma, Jayalakshmi, Congress leaders, members of women's associations and others participated in this program.
