Tom Felton supports JK Rowling by attending Harry Potter event
The actor, 37, who played Draco Malfoy in the original films from 2001 until 2011, recently revealed he will be reprising his role for the Broadway show.
In stark contrast to his co-stars Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint who have turned their back on Rowling due to her controversial views on trans rights, Tom has been vocal in his support for the author.
And on Thursday he appeared in great spirits as he was seen posing for selfies with fans at the Theater am Großmarkt in the German city.
Looking stylish for the evening Tom opted for a cream summer blazer jacket and matching trousers.
He completed the look with a blue T-shirt and round shades as he smiled for snaps.
Author JK Rowling has been very vocal about her views on transgender people, consistently referring to trans women as 'men'.
And while Tom's co-stars have turned away from the writer, he has continued to support her, insisting he is 'grateful' for what she has done for him.
Last month, he was asked if the controversy surrounding Rowling affected his work.
He said: 'No, I can't say it does. I'm not really that attuned. The only thing I always remind myself is that I've been lucky enough to travel the world.
'Here I am in New York. And I have not seen anything bring the world together more than Potter, and she's responsible for that. So I'm incredibly grateful.'
In April, Rowling insisted she would never forgive the younger stars of the film franchise for speaking out against her views on trans rights.
Responding to a tweet that asked whether the likes of Daniel and Emma would apologize to the author, 'safe in the knowledge that you will forgive them', she said: 'Not safe, I'm afraid.
'Celebs who cozied up to a movement intent on eroding women's hard-won rights and who used their platforms to cheer on the transitioning of minors can save their apologies for traumatized detransitioners and vulnerable women reliant on single sex spaces.'
Tom also previously expressed his excitement about joining the upcoming Broadway production.
He told Variety: 'I think we all thought the wizarding world would slowly… that the fandom flame might douse over the years, but clearly it's not.
'I think the most exciting part is to do it live. It took nine months, more or less, to shoot a film. And this is all compact. This is all reimagined into a very lovely new, tight story. And I get to be a dad, which has been fun.'
Tom will join the cast in November and star in the show for 19 weeks, concluding his run in March 2026.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, based off a screenplay written by JK Rowling, takes place 19 years after the original series ended.
It follows Harry, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, and Draco's kids as they head off to Hogwarts.
Harry's son Albus and Draco's son Scorpius become best friends and get up to their own adventure - and almost destroy the entire wizarding world along the way.

And Hampton replied: 'Yeah, it wasn't hard. When she's gone in the goal, it's on its own isn't it? It's in the towel.' When Coll returned to her towel, she was visibly confused to find a replacement bottle – which Hampton had put there – but no notes, and was left searching for her original one. 'She was walking back to take the penalty and I was walking the other way and she was so confused, and I was just trying not to burst out laughing, being like, "I don't know what's happening!".' Matterface added: 'This is happening at the key moment in a penalty shootout for the title of European champions?' to which Hampton replied: 'Yeah, you've got to do something, haven't you?' England ended up winning the shootout, with Alex Greenwood, Niamh Charles and Chloe Kelly all converting from the spot as the Lionesses retained their European crown. Hampton meanwhile saved two penalties from Mariona Caldentey and Aitana Bonmati and Salma Paralluelo missed hers.

'Outlander' prequel series 'Blood of My Blood' goes back in time again — to meet the parents
In Starz 's ' Outlander,' Caitriona Balfe's Claire Fraser is bold and brave. She can also think on her feet in high-pressure moments. Her husband Jamie Fraser, played by Sam Heughan, is protective and empathetic. In a new prequel series out Friday, called 'Outlander: Blood of My Blood,' we see how they each got that way. 'Blood of My Blood' tells the love story of Jamie's parents, Ellen and Brian, and Claire's parents, Julia and Henry. The characters are inspired by the stories of Diana Gabaldon but there are no novels for showrunner Matthew B. Roberts to follow. He also is the showrunner of the original series, which debuts its final season early next year. With no source material 'there's a lot more room to play in," explained Roberts. In 'Outlander,' "there are all these tentpole moments that we have to write to because that's what our audience wants from the books.' The Frasers In the books, Gabaldon mentions Jamie's parents in 'breadcrumbs' said Roberts. 'We stick to those, but the freedom is what can we do after that to get to essentially where 'Outlander' begins.' The big obstacle facing Jamie's parents, Ellen and Brian, who meet in 18th century Scotland — is that they come from families that 'don't get on,' said Harriet Slater, who plays Ellen. 'When we meet him, he's pretty much given up," said Jeremy Irvine, who plays Henry. 'I think he's accepted death really and doesn't have anything to live for and sends this one last lifeline out in the form of an open letter back to England.' Julia finds his letter at work and feels compelled to respond. The two end up falling in love while writing back-and-forth. A series of events send Julia and Henry, like their daughter, back in time. They end up in the 1700s where Irvine explains they are 'trying to live second by second.' "The time they've gone back to is not a friendly time to be an outsider at all. Being an outsider would likely mean death. Henry and Julia, as is Claire, are very quick-witted, fast-thinking, intelligent people. They survive by the skin of their teeth.' Season 2 of 'Blood of My Blood' is coming too The cast is already in production on season two of 'Blood of My Blood.' Hermoine Corfield, who plays Julia, says it's been nice filming 'in our own little secret bubble.' Promoting the series has been tricky because they have to remember what happened in season one versus season two. 'You almost forget what you did in season one because you're already onto that next journey and storyline,' said Corfield.
