Love Island fans uncover villa girl's gameplan as they say ‘she's not into him at all' about love interest

The Sun3 days ago
LOVE Island fans have become convinced that one couple are set to split after leaving the villa – after picking up on the girl's 'gameplan'.
With the series finale coming tomorrow, the last few days of the villa have seen the islanders begin to lock down their romances.

But after Ty asked Angel if they could 'go exclusive' – essentially making them boyfriend/girlfriend in all but name – her reaction has left viewers believing there's doubt in place for Angel.
Throw in differing lifestyles, and some are thinking that they could already be on the way out.
A Reddit poster explained: 'Hear me out. Angel is a fairly big Instagram influencer, who if you look at her instagram seems to be all about the boujee life.
'Her entire feed is her hanging with super stunning models all with huge followings on yachts in Spain, ski trips in the French Alps, constant trips to Dubai and seems to be living a pretty expensive glamorous life.'
'Ty is a sweetheart but does seem just like a genuine working class guy from a normal background,' they added. 'Absolutely nothing wrong with that, I just find it hard to believe this is the type of guy Angel is genuinely interested in with the lifestyle she projects on Instagram.'
They added that 'girls who live that lifestyle seem to often be looking for a certain type of man', and continued: 'Last night's episode was when I really noticed it most.
'There is a certain distance in the way she connects with him, especially when he asked her to go exclusive, everything is just kind of wafty and airy in her voice and doesn't seem real or passionate about anything he has to say.'
'I believe she is a huge game player like Dejon but isn't as dumb as him to make it so obvious to those in the villa or the public,' they concluded, saying she "goes with the flow and doesn't cause drama", allowing Angel to skirt through.
Other posters quickly picked up on the moment, and agreed that something about Angel and Ty's romance didn't feel authentic.
'Not gonna lie, I don't buy Angel's act at all. She was definitely eyeing up Harry from the jump, but obviously wanted to secure a spot in Meg's little 'mother hen' squad for that protection,' replied one. 'And because she rocked up late, she just clung to Ty as a safe bet.
'Get her out' rant Love Island fans as they call for 'sly' star to be kicked off the show
'Half the stuff Angel says is just silly, like she's trying to be something, but ends up being absolutely nothing.'
'I thought she liked him up until last night, when he asked her to go exclusive,' agreed a second. 'Like you said her reaction was very wishy washy.
'However in saying that they are quite fresh, so maybe she was just taken aback by how soon it was.
'Ty was also really her only option, and it just so happened he was single at the time.'
'When they leave the villa, he'll be in the influencer lifestyle too so I think they'll last whilst they're riding the fame, and whilst they're all in London constantly for events and interviews and stuff,' noted a third.
'And when the love island 2025 hype dies down, those break up statements will be out on instagram 😂'
Others commented on the fact that she claimed that distance would be an issue for them as they start their relationship – asking 'why that was an issue when she travels the world but can travel 150 miles to Barnsley' where Ty's based.
Ty and Angel are within breathing distance of the finish line, with the finale airing tomorrow night and a new winning couple being crowned.
However, their position in the finale isn't secured just yet, with one last shock dumping set to rock the villa in scenes set to air tonight.
The remaining couples still in the villa are: Ty and Angel, Meg and Dejon, Toni and Cach, Shakira and Harry, and Yasmin and Jamie.
Who will be our top four for this year?
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.

Celebs SAS stars 'to get full fee despite quitting Channel 4 show early'

Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins stars will reportedly still get their full fee even if they quit, and three of the contestants are said to have raked in thousands for just minutes on screen Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins stars will reportedly still get their full fee even if they quit the show early. The Channel 4 military-style reality series returned to screens last week with the likes of X Factor legend Lucy Spraggan, footballer Troy Deeney and former drugs mule Michaella McCollum amongst a host of others being put through their paces by the show's tough directors. ‌ However, viewers watched as pop star Hannah Spearritt quit the show just minutes into the first episode, and dancer Louie Spencer later realised he could not hack it either so decided to remove his armband and walk off. In episode two, Love Island stars Tasha Ghouri and Chloe Burrows quit on the spot as well. Insiders have claimed that some of the stars are being paid up to £20,000 as an appearance fee and insisted that they will still receive payment in full, no matter what stage of the competition they actually reach. ‌ A source told The Sun: "Hannah Spearitt, Chloe Burrows and Tasha Ghouri will all have been paid over £10k - some as much as £20k - but unlike other reality shows, they do get paid if they pull out. So even though Hannah only lasted one minute, she'll still get paid over £10k for that minute." It comes after reports of all the celebrities rumoured to be joining BBC Strictly Come Dancing 2025. ‌ The source added that even though it can be 'embarrassing' for celebrities to quit so early, it is "well worth stars signing up even if they don't think they can complete the show just for the payday - it might be embarrassing taking their armband off early in the show, but it's good money!' Hannah who shot to fame as part of S Club 7 before going on to an acting career with roles in shows such as Primeval and EastEnders, was seen struggling. She was sitting on the way to a mission when she told her fellow recruits that she was 'feeling faint'. And just moments later, it was confirmed that the Reach singer had become the first to leave the course as her co-stars speculated that she had suffered a panic attack. ‌ However, in a confessional aired seconds beforehand, Hannah, who last year refused to join her bandmates for their reunion tour, had seemed confident in herself as she said: "I am pretty determined. I wouldn't say I give up easily but whether I get to the end or not...I don't think I'll go on the first day because I just wouldn't forgive myself." She went onto tell instructors: "Sorry - I'm done. Sorry. I've reached a point." And she wasn't the only star to fall at the first hurdle, as Pineapple Dance Studios star Louie also dramatically left the show as the tough scenes unfolded. He initially told the cameras as part of his own confessional segment: "If there was a world war and they decided they were gonna call everyone up, would I be the first to jump up and say 'Yes me?' Being surrounded my thousands of soldiers, I might just jump at it. I'd be the home guard like on Dad's Army. We'll have a gay Dad's Army. Honestly, they wouldn't wanna mess with the gays!" But, despite his confidence, just moments later, Chris Fox described the group's effort as "abysmal" after the latest task. He reminded the recruits to think about why they were there and suggested they take things "seriously". ‌ Louie piped up: "I wanna do an immediate withdrawal. I just don't have the conviction and I feel as though I'm not dedicated enough," he said as he removed his armband. Chris gave him the chance to put his arm band back on, but Louie refused, so Chris said: "Get your kit." In a previously-filmed confessional, Louie, 56, had said: "I'm a survivor, I would keep battling to survive. I think the worst way for me to leave the course would be to choose to leave. That would really p*** me off," but just seconds later, it was confirmed that he had indeed quit the show." And following their exits, Chloe took to Instagram to rant about why she had quit as she said: ""I was f*****g exhausted and wanted my own bed and a cuddle from my mum. Forgive a girl for being so naive, but jumping at opportunities I'd never thought possible," whilst Tasha is yet to address her exit.

BBC Strictly Come Dancing star admits 'it's terrifying' as she marks career first

Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Former Strictly Come Dancing star Annabel Croft admitted, "It's terrifying", as she marked a career first. The former tennis player competed on the 21st series of Strictly with her professional partner Johannes Radebe. The fan-favourite pair made it to the semi-final, finishing in fourth place behind winning couple Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola. Now, Annabel is hitting the road for a 28-date tour across England, Scotland and Wales. Her debut tour, which is titled From Tennis Balls to Glitter Balls, begins next month, and will take audiences behind the scenes of the world's greatest tennis tournaments, as well as exploring Annabel's time on Strictly. (Image: BBC) Annabel appeared on The One Show on Wednesday (August 6), where she spoke to hosts Alex Jones and Vernon Kay about her new career venture. "I've been asked to do a speaking tour around the country from middle to late September till November, and it's new territory for me because I've never done anything like that before," she explained. "I have done speeches and things, but it's a chance for me to talk about what does it take to go from being a little girl as I was at nine, picking up a racket for the first time. "What does it take, sort of the apprenticeship of going on that journey to then make it to Wimbledon, and then retiring at 21 and moving into broadcasting, interviewing all these wonderful great champions. "And how did that lead me to Strictly Come Dancing. So, it's kind of a tour to look back and reflect on my life." (Image: BBC) The 59-year-old went on to share her pride at embracing public speaking after previously struggling with her confidence, which she described as "terrifying". "When I look back at speaking, it was actually something I was very fearful of when I was younger. I used to almost hyperventilate and have a complete panic attack about speaking publicly," she candidly said. "It's funny for me now thinking, 'Well, I'm going to do a speaking tour'. And it's like, 'How on earth have I come such a big circle?' To be able to have the confidence." Ahead of this year's series, speculation has been mounting about which celebrities will grace the dancefloor. Current cast rumours include Love Island's Dani Dyer, Olympic legend Mo Farah and Corrie star Helen Flanagan. Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One and BBC iPlayer this autumn

Destination X fans spot huge hint that axed players will return in twist

Destination X, hosted by Rob Brydon, launched last week and the first episode of the BBC show saw three contestants eliminated from the competition just 15 minutes in Destination X viewers are convinced that three contestants who were eliminated just minutes into the first episode will return. Some fans have even spotted a potential clue hinting that the trio didn't actually leave the competition after all. ‌ The new BBC show, which launched last Wednesday, sees contestants tasked with guessing where they are, based on clues and observations, at various locations whilst touring Europe. Host Rob Brydon, 60, dismissed three of the thirteen players before they had left the 'airport' though. ‌ Fans have since suggested that they spotted the trio later in the episode whilst the remaining contestants took on a challenge in Alsace. It comes amid speculation that they will return at some point after their 'exits' in Baden-Baden. ‌ Retired detective sergeant Claire, 51, economics graduate Ashvin, 23, and historian Chloe-Anne, 27, had bid farewell at the airport in Germany after failing to secure a place on the Destination X bus, which takes the players on the tour. They however later appeared to be in a scene filmed in France. Claire, Ashvin and Chloe-Anne, wearing the same outfits, seemed to be sat in a coffee shop by the "box of tricks" that the remaining contestants entered for a challenge in Mulhouse in the Alsace region. Those still competing had to answer questions and then look out of the box for clues. ‌ Rob had suggested that the trio had left though. After introducing the contestants in the first episode, he said that only ten of the original thirteen would be "progressing" beyond the airport. Claire, Ashvin and Chloe-Anne were eliminated moments later after losing two short challenges. The host told them: "I'm afraid it's goodbye. Please leave the airport." He then teased in a voiceover to viewers in the episode: "Well, that should show my remaining players who pulls the strings around here as the magical mystery tour I'm sending them on will have plenty of twists." ‌ Claire, Ashvin and Chloe-Anne seemingly popping up later in the episode didn't go unnoticed by fans. One viewer wrote on X: "These 3 people in destination x's box scene look exactly like the 3 people who couldn't get on the flight. They are definitely coming into the came at one point." Another said: "1st episode. Pretty sure that when the contestants were in the box in the square we got a quick glimpse of the girl in the sundress who lost out at the 1st hurdle, sitting at a table back to the camera. Maybe the other 2 were there as well." Whilst a viewer wrote on Reddit: "The three eliminated players were shown sat outside a cafe, when they did the quick shot scene for the mystery box in Alsace. At 28m54secs into the episode." ‌ It comes amid speculation that the trio will be back, in a twist similar to the latest series of the Traitors. Sharing their thoughts over the potential, one person said recently: "I bet you the three gone will come back in like ep4." Another viewer speculated: "Those 3 people are coming back like the Traitors yknow." Whilst third said: "They're going to do a Traitors and bring those 3 back aren't they?" Destination X continues on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Wednesday from 9pm.
