Celebs Go Dating thrown into chaos after 'star storms off set after filming overran leaving bosses scrambling'
Celebs Go Dating was reportedly thrown into chaos after one of its stars stormed off set after filming overran.
Mark 'The Beast' Labbett, 59, famed for his appearances on The Chase, is among the latest celebrities joining the dating agency in an attempt to find love.
But it seems the quizzer was left less than impressed after one of the filming days overran and the stars were on set for 11 hours.
A source told The Sun: 'The Beast threw a strop the other week and walked off as filming overran and he wasn't happy about it.
The source claimed that the other celebrities weathered the storm but Mark was so unhappy he 'stormed out' and left filming for the entire day.

'Bosses were scrambling behind the scenes and everyone was really stressed about whether he would come back, but luckily after getting a good night's sleep, Mark calmed down and returned to set the next day,' they added.
MailOnline has approached representatives for Mark and Celebs Go Dating for comment.
Kerry Katona, 44, jet to Ibiza earlier in the year with the E4 cast - which includes former Love Island star Olivia Hawkins, 29, S Club 7 singer Jon Lee, 43, and Mark 'The Beast' - ahead of filming.
And in April, MailOnline revealed a Chelsea favourite had also joined the lineup.
Sam Prince, 28, who has previously dated Lottie Moss and Inga Valentiner, will feature in the new series following his split from Chelsea co-star Yasmine Zweegers - who he appeared to reunite with at the end of the recent series.
The cast of singletons jet to the White Isle on Monday to start filming with relationship experts Paul C. Brunson and Anna Williamson, as comedian Rob Beckett returns as the show's narrator.
A TV source told MailOnline: 'Sam is the perfect contestant for Celebs Go Dating... He's had a string of failed relationships and now as he reaches his late 20s, he's keen to learn the error of his ways.
'He started dating ex-girlfriend Yasmine hours after his relationship with Inga ended, which caused huge upset in the Made In Chelsea cast.
'There have certainly been situations that Paul will need to analyse and hopefully give Sam the necessary feedback he needs to grow.'
Sam joined Made In Chelsea in 2017 and is known for causing conflict on the E4 series, as well as dating many of his co-stars.
Last month Christine McGuinness revealed she had quit the new series of Celebs Go Dating.
The ex-wife of Paddy McGuinness, 37, was part of the star-studded line-up for the fourteenth series of the E4 hit.
Christine had already flown to Ibiza to start filming but took to Instagram to explain she had quit the show because it was 'too soon' after her divorce from her ex-husband Paddy.
Pals close to the mother-of-three believed she may have left the programme over 'fears' of upsetting ex-husband Paddy, 51, by discussing their recent divorce on TV.
According to insiders, the model, who split from the former Top Gear host in 2022, had been 'enjoying' filming and going on dates after flying to the White Isle this week.
She had appeared keen as she got stuck in at the show's Ibiza pool party, which was attended by Celebs Go Dating alumni and surprise guests Wayne Lineker and Dean Gaffney.
The reality star, who was set to date both men and women on the show, had been revealing more about her 'type', explaining that she likes 'feminine women with an edge' at the show's 'mixer', where celebrities met the contestants for the first time.
However, Christine then suddenly quit the series, with insiders saying she had become anxious over her private life, including feelings surrounding her divorce, being made public.
A source said: 'Christine was really up for this show and discovering more about herself with the help of the relationship experts.
'She settled in really well in Ibiza and treated it like a bit of a holiday.
'Hours before she pulled out of the series, she was having so much fun at one of the show's pool parties, chatting away to former contestants Wayne and Dean.
'She had even struck up a flirtatious relationship with one of the contestants, who she flew to Ibiza as part of the dating series, and was finally opening up about her feelings towards women.
'But all of a sudden her mood changed and she began to have real doubts over her appearance, especially with how she may be upsetting Paddy by discussing their divorce on a TV show.
'It's a real shame but she just wasn't in the right frame of mind to take part and it was best for all concerned for her to leave the process.'

Dua Lipa: I'm too busy to have children
Dua Lipa has said she is too busy to have children as she does not know how starting a family 'would fit in with my job'. Speaking in an interview with British Vogue, the London-born singer, 29, said she wondered if there would 'ever be a good time' to have a child with her fiancé Callum Turner, the Boys in the Boat actor. 'I'd love to have kids one day,' Lipa said. 'But it's like the constant question of when would there ever be a good time – how it would fit in with my job and how it would work if I went on tour, and how much time out I'd have to take. 'I think it's just one of those things that's going to happen when it happens. I love kids, but I think there's so much more to raising a child than just loving children.' During the interview, the Grammy award-winning singer confirmed her engagement to Turner, 35. She had provoked speculation after she was spotted on numerous occasions over the last year wearing a diamond ring. 'Yeah, we're engaged,' she said. 'It's very exciting.' Speaking of her ring, she added: 'I'm obsessed with it. It's so me. It's nice to know the person that you're going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.' But the singer said she had not set a date for the big day. She said: 'I want to finish my tour, Callum's shooting, so we're just enjoying this period. 'I've never been someone who's really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be. All of a sudden I'm like: 'Oh, what would I wear?'' She added: 'This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don't know, be best friends forever – it's a really special feeling.' The couple have been together since January 2024. In the interview, Lipa also said she felt 'the most confident [she's] ever felt' ahead of her 30th birthday later this year. She said: 'I turn 30 in August and I've been thinking about it a lot, because your 20s are just so tumultuous in the way you think about yourself and your body. 'And I don't know, now I feel like I've come to a place – I've become better at taking care of myself and working out and dancing. I feel the most confident I've ever felt. I feel very empowered and strong in my body. 'I feel good when I'm sharing my energy with people on stage. There's just so much of that that makes me really proud of my body and the way it holds me.'

Debut novel by Dutch author wins 2025 Women's Prize for Fiction
A debut novel by a Dutch author has won the 2025 Women's Prize for Fiction with the judges praising it as 'a classic in the making'. Announced at a ceremony held in central London on Thursday, Yael van der Wouden, 38, won the award for her novel, The Safekeep, which explores repressed desire and the unresolved aftermath of the Holocaust in post-Second World War Netherlands. The novel follows Isabel, a young woman whose life in solitude is upended when her brother's girlfriend, Eva, comes to live with her in their family house in what turns into a summer of obsession, suspicion and desire. Writer and chair of judges for the fiction prize, Kit de Waal, said: 'The Safekeep is that rare thing: a masterful blend of history, suspense and historical authenticity. 'Every word is perfectly placed, page after page revealing an aspect of war and the Holocaust that has been, until now, mostly unexplored in fiction. 'It is also a love story with beautifully rendered intimate scenes written with delicacy and compelling eroticism. 'This astonishing debut is a classic in the making, a story to be loved and appreciated for generations to come. Books like this don't come along every day.' Van der Wouden will receive £30,000 along with a limited-edition bronze statuette known as the Bessie which was created and donated by the artist Grizel Niven. The judging panel for the Women's Prize for Fiction included novelist and journalist Diana Evans, author, journalist and mental-health campaigner Bryony Gordon, writer and magazine editor Deborah Joseph, and musician and composer Amelia Warner. Also announced at the ceremony was the recipient of the non-fiction award which was won by physician Dr Rachel Clarke for The Story Of A Heart, a book that explores the human experience behind organ donation. The book recounts two family stories, documenting how medical staff take care of nine-year-old Kiera in her final hours following a car accident while offering a new life to also nine-year-old Max who is suffering from heart failure from a viral infection. Journalist, broadcaster and author Kavita Puri who was the chair of judges for the non-fiction prize, said: 'The Story Of A Heart left a deep and long-lasting impression on us. Clarke's writing is authoritative, beautiful and compassionate. 'The research is meticulous, and the storytelling is expertly crafted. She holds this precious story with great care and tells it with dignity, interweaving the history of transplant surgery seamlessly. 'This is a book where humanity shines through on every page, from the selfless act of the parents who gift their daughter's heart in the depths of despair, to the dedication of the NHS workers. It is unforgettable, and will be read for many years to come.' Clarke, who is behind Breathtaking, Dear Life and Your Life In My Hands will receive £30,000 along with a limited-edition piece of art known as the Charlotte which was gifted by the Charlotte Aitken Trust. The judging panel for the non-fiction prize included writer and broadcaster Dr Leah Broad, whose work focuses on women's cultural history along with novelist and critic Elizabeth Buchan. The writer and environmental academic, Dr Elizabeth-Jane Burnett was also a judge for the non-fiction award along with the author and writer of The Hyphen newsletter on Substack, Emma Gannon. Previous winners of the fiction prize include Tayari Jones with An American Marriage and The Song Of Achilles by Madeline Miller, while the first winner of the non-fiction prize was awarded last year to Naomi Klein for Doppelganger: A Trip Into The Mirror World. The awards were announced by the Women's Prize Trust, a UK charity that aims to 'create equitable opportunities for women in the world of books and beyond'.
