You need 'eyes of a sniper' to spot moose hiding in grass in 30 seconds

Love brainteasers? You might want to give this Canadian-themed puzzle a go, which challenges participants to spot a moose hiding in a patch of grass within 30 seconds
Test your visual skills with this deceptively difficult brainteaser that might leave you puzzled. A user on Reddit created the puzzle, which involves finding an animal hidden within a grassy scene.
Posting on the FindTheSniper subreddit, user cyborgzz gave participants the challenge of finding a moose camouflaged by long grass and trees. They shared a photo of the hidden moose, known for being the largest of all the deer species. At a first - and maybe even second - glance, it's tricky to spot the moose in among the surrounding greenery. The user posted the picture and simply wrote: 'Find the moose.'

The dense vegetation will test even those with the sharpest eyes. Just like your body, your brain benefits from regular exercise - and many people turn to brainteasers and puzzles like this one to stay mentally active.

These types of challenges can help sharpen your focus and boost your concentration over time.

The brainteaser was ranked in the post as 'medium' difficulty, and a number of participants shared that they spotted the moose's ears first.
One said: 'Those ears just perked up.' Another exclaimed: 'I found its ears!' A third commented: 'The ears!'
Moose ears are large and can be rotated, allowing the animals to pinpoint the source of sounds - which helps them to detect predators or potential mates.

A Reddit user in the comments asked where the photo was taken and cyborgzz revealed that they snapped the picture in Matachewan in Ontario, Canada.
Struggling to find the moose? Someone shared that they 'found it behind one of the many trees in the picture.'
Answer
Give up? An eagle-eyed participant gave the moose's location: 'Between the two small dead trees! To the right of the tall dead trees, you can just see the ears sticking out.'

A second chimed in: 'There is no mistaking those ears that are located just right of dead [centre].' A third said: 'Northeast of the [centre]. Tree has ears. Master of disguise.'
A different contributor noted that for such big animals moose 'sure hide well' and 'can disappear pretty easily.'
Others boasted about how easy they found this brainteaser as one user described it as 'too easy' and another admitted: 'I don't know how I found it that quickly.'

According to the Cambridge Dictionary, a brainteaser is 'a problem for which it is hard to find the answer, especially one which people enjoy trying to solve as a game'.
Brainteasers are challenges that test your thinking skills - they can be puzzles, tricky questions, or problems that require mental effort to crack.
These engaging activities are designed to boost your cognitive abilities, encouraging skills like critical thinking, logic, and creative problem-solving.
You'll find them in many forms, including riddles, logic challenges, math puzzles, and word games.
Not only do brainteasers give your mind a healthy workout, but they're also a fun and simple way to keep children entertained or pass the time when you have a spare moment in your day.

McDonald's Hong Kong releases Chiikawa Happy Meal toys

Hot on the heels of McDonald's time-limited Chiikawa Days-themed menu items comes more collaboration products between the fast-food giant and these cute Japanese critters. McDonald's Hong Kong is now releasing a range of Happy Meal toys on Chiikawa and friends, to be changed up each week. From now until the end of August, purchase a McDonald's Happy Meal to receive a Chiikawa toy. There are eight versions altogether, with each type being offered on specific dates throughout the promotion period, so make sure you keep an eye on the dates to get your favourite. The Hachiware calendar will be released on July 28, followed by the Rakko measuring device on August 1, the Chiikawa pen holder on August 4, the Usagi hotcake box on August 8, the Momonga pen cap on August 11, the Hachiware photo frame on August 15, the Chiikawa notepad on August 18, and finally the Usagi sticker dispenser on August 22. Customers who want to get their hands on their collectable toys must purchase a Cheese Egg Bun Happy Meal set or a four-piece McNuggets Happy Meal via the McDonald's app to receive specific Chiikawa Days designs, released each Monday and Friday at 11am. After receiving a confirmation of purchase with a QR code, you can then pick up your meal with the toy at selected McDonald's restaurants. Make sure you go collect them within the specific dates and times, otherwise it will be considered forfeit! Alternatively, you can also visit 40 specific McDonald's branches in person to purchase your Chiikawa Happy Meal. Be sure you're ordering from the list of approved branches, or ordering via the designated webpage via the McDonald's app and not just the normal purchase interface, or you'll end up with a random book from the 'Little People, Big Dreams' series instead (not bad, but that's not what you're here for). Which Chiikawa Days toy do you most want to get?
