LeBron James and Lauren Sanchez caught vibing to Kendrick Lamar's 'Not Like Us' in Cannes
The A-list trio was spotted letting loose to Kendrick Lamar's hit track "Not Like Us" at the swanky Le Guerite Beach Club, where celebs among the likes of Jay-Z and Beyonce have been spotted partying in the past.
LeBron James, Savannah, and Lauren Sanchez steal the spotlight at viral Cannes party
A video of the moment started making its rounds on social media on Tuesday, July 22.
In a clip shared on X, the Los Angeles Lakers' star's table, which included James' wife Savannah, and his business partner Maverick Carter, were spotted jamming out to the popular Drake diss track, which Lamar famously performed during the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show back in February.
At one point in the video, Savannah is seen chanting the popular verse, "A minorrrr," while she held a small battery-operated fan up to her face to cool down.
The funniest part of the entire clip is when the person recording the video panned the camera over to the Amazon founder, Bezos, who was filming his wife, Sanchez, getting down to the song.
Fans quickly started commenting on the the NBA star's dance party on X, with one user writing, "Nah not Savannah hitting the 'A Minor."
"Bro really turned on Drake," another person wrote.
"Even Bezos and his wife in on it too, man Drake never gon live this down," a third person added.

Why Lamar's 'Not Like Us' lyrics have been controversial
Lamar has faced some criticism for his lyrics in the hit song.
He accuses his Canadian rival, Drake, of being a "pedophile" in the lyrics.
During the song, Lamar raps, "Say Drake, I hear you like 'em young. You better not ever go to cell block one." He then advises that "you hide your 'lil sister from him," and famously raps, "Tryna strike a cord and it's probably A-Minor."

James Gunn Says Two Heroes from Superman's Metahuman Mural Will Play a Big Role in the DCU — GeekTyrant
When Superman dropped earlier this month, James Gunn sparked interest when he revealed there was a mural to look out for in the Hall of Justice. It is a massive metahuman mural, a vibrant showcase of DC Comics history packed with obscure heroes, Golden Age legends, and characters we never expected to see referenced on the big screen. In a recent chat with IGN, Gunn revealed that at least two of the characters depicted on that wall will have a significant role in the DCU moving forward: 'Listen, fans have done a pretty good job, I think they've found all of the different characters,' said Gunn. 'But yeah, I will just say that in one of our scripts we're working on two of those characters are kind of important.' That's it. That's all he would say, but for DC fans, that's enough to send the speculation machine into overdrive. The breakdown of the mural confirmed appearances from over two dozen characters spanning centuries of DC lore. Here are some highlights: Madame Xanadu – A founding member of the Demon Knights and former protégé of Merlin. Silent Knight – A medieval superhero from 6th-century England. Exoristos – An exiled Amazon from Themyscira, predating Wonder Woman herself. Black Pirate – A swashbuckling 16th-century vigilante who met his end in Opal City. Miss Liberty – A heroine from the American Revolution. Whip Whirlwind / Max Mercury – A speedster who can't fully access the Speed Force, often bouncing through time. Max has mentored legends like Jay Garrick, Wally West, and Impulse. Super-Chief – A Pre-Columbian Iroquois warrior with meteorite-granted powers. El Diablo – A cursed cowboy who's crossed paths with Jonah Hex and Jason Blood. Iron Munro – A post-Crisis on Infinite Earths Superman stand-in for WWII-era stories. Sandman (Wesley Dodds) – The gas-mask-wearing vigilante with a sleeping gas gun. Amazing Man (Will Everett) – A '60s Olympian turned meta-human. Zatara – Legendary magician and father of Zatanna. Liberty Belle – A WWII-era heroine with speed and strength who later married Johnny Quick. Bulletman & Bulletgirl – Gravity-defying crimefighters from the Golden Age. TNT & Dan the Dyna-mite – A positively charged teacher and his negatively charged sidekick with explosive synergy. Phantom Lady – WWII heroine with invisibility and illusion powers. Atomic Knight – A 1960s hero operating in the 'post-apocalyptic future of 1992.' Freedom Beast – African successor to B'wana Beast with animal-merging powers. Wildcat (Ted Grant) – Heavyweight boxer turned costumed crimefighter. Vibe – '80s breakdancing hero with sonic powers. Gunfire – A '90s hero who turns any object into an energy weapon. Maxwell Lord – Already seen in Superman, holding the Firestorm Matrix in the mural. That's a deep cut DC history lineup right there. Gunn confirmed that these two mystery characters are tied to the same upcoming project, but he didn't say if that project is a movie, a live-action series, or an animated show. Naturally, fans are already piecing together the clues: Exoristos feels like a strong candidate for Paradise Lost, the Amazon-centric prequel series set in Themyscira. As an ancient Amazon warrior, she fits perfectly into that mythological setting. Max Mercury is another standout. Not only does he appear twice on the mural (as both Max Mercury and his alias Whip Whirlwind), but his time-jumping speedster lore could easily tie into The Flash or a Speed Force-focused project. Then there's Maxwell Lord, already played by Sean Gunn in Superman. He's holding the Firestorm Matrix in the mural, which could mean a Justice League International–style project—or even something Firestorm-related. But Gunn isn't giving anything away. He left fans with one final tease: 'In one of our scripts we're working on two of those characters are kind of important.' That's it. Two characters. One script. Endless speculation. What do you think? Which two heroes do you believe will show up first—and in what project? Drop your theories below!

Prime Video's latest No. 1 show is a 'Bosch' spinoff with Maggie Q — and it's 100% on Rotten Tomatoes
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. "Bosch" fans, rejoice: it sounds like Prime Video's follow-up is going to continue the series' legacy as a compelling crime drama. On July 9, the Amazon streaming service dropped the full first season of "Ballard," a new spin-off that shifts focus from Titus Welliver's Harry Bosch over to Renée Ballard (Maggie Q), the detective introduced in April's "Bosch: Legacy" series finale. One day after release, the show had risen to the No. 2 spot on the Amazon streamer (putting it second only to the lackluster action thriller, "Countdown"), but in the few days since, "Ballard" has become the streamer's top watch. Plus, "Ballard" has continued to hold onto that impressive 100% critics' score on Rotten Tomatoes, meaning reviewers who've tuned in have liked what they saw. Ready to dive in? You can stream all 10 episodes of "Ballard" on Prime Video right now, or you can find a little more info — and hear what critics have to say — about Prime's newest release below. What is 'Ballard' about? If you're not up to speed, "Ballard" is Prime Video's next series based on Michael Connelly's books. Here, we follow Detective Renée Ballard (Maggie Q), who is charged with leading the LAPD's underfunded cold case division and taking on some of Los Angeles' toughest long-forgotten cases. Per the series synopsis, we know the series sees her investigating layers of crime that go back decades, including a serial killer's string of murders; as she does so, Ballard unearths a deadly conspiracy within the force, and enlists the help of her team and Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver) to crack her cases, navigating personal and professional challenges along the way. In addition to Q and Welliver, "Ballard" also features Courtney Taylor, John Carroll Lynch, Michael Mosley, Rebecca Field, Victoria Moroles, Amy Hill, Ricardo Chavira, Noah Bean, and more. Should you stream 'Ballard' on Prime Video? If you haven't already started binging the 10-episode series on Prime Video, you'll be pleased to know that the first "Ballard" reviews are in... and the new "Bosch" spin-off has been warmly received. As we mentioned above, the series has earned a rare 100% approval rating from critics on the review aggregate site, Rotten Tomatoes. Admittedly, that score's only aggregated from nine individual reactions, but it's still an encouraging sign to see every critic who's reviewed the series (at the time of writing) liked what they saw. Reviewing for Variety, Aramide Tinubu, for example, called "Ballard" "one of the best police procedurals on TV," adding: "Smartly acted, beautifully paced and genuinely engaging, "Ballard" is a thrilling ride from start to finish." Similarly, Sherin Nicole praised the series for its "well sculpted" characters and for being "grounded by grit, genuine leads, and complex cases," adding: "This series fits right in with 'Bosch' and 'Bosch: Legacy': strident, true-to-life characters doing emotionally crushing work while dealing with the people and things that make life harder." CBR's Brittany Frederick gave the series an 8/10 score, arguing it was "rougher around the edges" than the previous Michael Connelly shows, but was nevertheless entertaining in its own right. "While "Ballard" isn't as iconic as its predecessor," she writes, "it is a worthy addition to the "Bosch" universe and a high-quality crime drama that will keep viewers satisfied for hopefully years to come." Comparatively, audience reactions for "Ballard" have been a little more split; it's landed an 80% rating from fans on Rotten Tomatoes. There are still a number of 5-star reviews present on the platform — one viewer branding it "another Michael Connelly masterpiece" — but some fans aren't nearly as keen; in a 1.5-star rating, one viewer said the series was "one cliché after another" and "a dull parody of a police procedural." Nevertheless, there are more positive takes logged at present, and, in tandem with the critics' takes, the consensus seems to be that "Ballard" is worth your time. In short, if you were sad to see "Bosch" come to an end, or you just love getting wrapped up in a fresh case, most people who've streamed the show recommend you stream "Ballard" on Prime Video as soon as possible.
