Report – Inter Milan Make Final Offer Worth €45M For Atalanta & Nigeria Stalwart
Atalanta and Inter Milan have just finished a decisive meeting regarding the future of star forward Ademola Lookman. According to Ivan Zazzaroni via FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri have tabled their final proposal for the 27-year-old. As expected, Inter have made clear that they will not match La Dea's €50 million asking price. Instead, they're sticking to their guns. Therefore, Ivan Juric's men find themselves in a 'take it or leave it' position. Cristian Chivu's side will not exceed the €40 million threshold to finalize the deal. Report – New Inter Milan Coach To Use Various Formations & Tactical solutions To Make Nerazzurri Less Predictable
New Inter Milan coach Cristian Chivu is keen to make his team less predictable after taking over from Simone Inzaghi. According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the 44-year-old looks to implement several tactical changes to achieve this goal. Despite Inzaghi's impressive results at San Siro, his tactical rigidness made Inter Milan easier to read and deal with. Indeed, the 49-year-old never showed ambition to deviate from his hallmark 3-5-2 formation. However, there's a new dawn in Milan. Cristian Chivu Keen to Make Inter Milan More Difficult to Read PARMA, ITALY – MAY 18: Cristian Chivu head coach of Parma calcio during the Serie A match between Parma and Napoli at Stadio Ennio Tardini on May 18, 2025 in Parma, Italy. (Photo by) Starting with formation, Cristian Chivu aims to change things next season. For context, Inter will no longer line up in Inzaghi's preferred set-up. Instead, Chivu will encourage a more fluid attacking system, with the Nerazzurri expected to adopt a 3-4-2-1 formation. Therefore, the club is working around the clock to sign Ademola Lookman. Lookman's arrival would diversify Chivu's attacking options and allow Inter to add pace and unpredictability in the final third. Furthermore, Chivu wants his team to be more 'vertical,' meaning Inter will be more direct next term. Finally, the Romanian is eager for his side to be more aggressive without the ball and apply high pressure.
