I exposed my cheating ex in the most deadly way at his job — women say it's ‘10/10′ revenge
R.I.P. to you and me, buddy! With her deepest condolences, a scorned siren dumped her cheating Prince Charming in true femme fatale style. 'I was in bed lying next to him when I saw I had a new message request from a girl who he'd been messaging,' Melissa Viegas, 23, from Manchester, told Kennedy News, adding that her now ex-boyfriend's other love interest shared screenshot evidence of his 'sexting' sins. 4 Viegas virally revealed the clever way she dumped and embarrassed her ex after finding out he'd be sending sexually-charged text messages to other women. Kennedy News and Media 'So I ended up cutting them out and putting them in a 'Sorry for your loss' card,' said Viegas, a master's student and bartender. 'I showed up to his work and gave him the card. He opened it, stared at it a while.' 'He was clearly embarrassed.' Footage of the genius Gen Z's 'perfectly executed' gotcha has racked up over 1.2 million TikTok views from fans — mostly women — of the savage stunt. It was a masterful move Viegas spent a week devising. 'It really was hard not saying anything,' admitted the brunette, who met her ex, whose name has been withheld for privacy, via Instagram two years ago. But immediately prior to learning of his two-timing tendencies, Viegas had a sinking feeling her sweetheart was up to no good. 'I had a lot of suspicions but I didn't have any hard proof that he was cheating,' she said. 'Because there were so many suspicions, I was already thinking about leaving. I knew I deserved better.' And once she peeped at her honey's flirty texts with his would-be mistress, that was the final nail in the coffin. 4 Viegas was shocked upon receiving a direct message from the woman who her boyfriend had secretly been texting. Kennedy News and Media 'He told her that he didn't have social media but she didn't believe him,' said Viegas. 'She did some digging and eventually found my profile and felt terrible.' The screenshot visuals of their tongue-in-cheek tête-à-tête left Viegas feeling furious. 'He tries to plan to see her multiple times,' she said of the devastating discovery. 'He was really full-on sexting. It really scarred me. It was horrible, especially seeing him call her the pet names he calls me.' But after the initial sting wore off, the wheels of revenge in Viegas' head began turning. And her plan to publicly humiliate the double-crossing dope went off without a hitch. 4 The student says she wanted to 'shame' her ex with the sympathy card stunt due to his distasteful behavior. Kennedy News and Media 'He was offended I had done it at his work,' she said of her sympathy card delivery. 'My friend grabbed my hand and said, 'let's just go.'' Viegas, however, doesn't regret getting his goat. Viegas posted about her scheme in a TikTok video — which now has over 1 million views. 'I just thought, 'I'm going to make a video,' because he was so shameless,' the pinup said with pride. 'He knew I was suspicious and asking questions, and he made me feel guilty about bringing up him cheating.' 'I thought he needed to learn some shame,' she continued, grateful for the wave of unwavering support she's received from ladies online. 'Perfectly executed from start to finish,' raved a commenter on TikTok. 'I feel like I should stand up and applaud girl.' 'No notes. Both girls get a 10/10,' another cheered. 'I've never been more proud of a girl I don't know,' an equally impressed onlooker declared. The virtual adulation has taken Viegas by surprise. 'I had never realized how strong girl power could be,' she chimed. 'The only hate comments were from men.' And her ex-man is now speaking out in his own defense. 4 Viegas' ex claims that the alleged sext message incident does not reflect his character. Kennedy News and Media 'The claims in Melissa's viral TikTok don't reflect who I am,' the unnamed guy wrote in a statement, per Kennedy News. 'I deeply regret any hurt she felt during our relationship and breakup, and I take responsibility for engaging in some inappropriate messages that crossed a line.' 'That was a mistake,' he confessed, 'not a reflection of my character, and I'm committed to learning from it.' 'Breakups are tough and I understand emotions can run high online,' said the wannabe playboy. 'I'm not here to add to the noise or point fingers — I'm focused on moving forward with integrity and privately.' 'I wish Melissa nothing but the best.' Viegas, however, seems to doubt his sincerity. Beneath her viral vid, she gave followers an update, which read, 'Two other girls have reached out to me, apparently he had a date planned for next week! Guessing he's now getting stood up.' And he messaged one of my friends, 'I was gonna break up with her anyway,'' Viegas added. 'So congrats everyone, you crushed his ego! We literally booked a holiday two weeks ago for [the] end of August, so there's no way he was planning for that.'
