Sweeney had a two word response to the online chatter in an exclusive interview with PEOPLESydney Sweeney has just two words for anyone hating on her recent collaboration with Dr. Squatch.
The Euphoria actress caught up with PEOPLE at the New York premiere of her latest movie, Echo Valley, at AMC Lincoln Square on Wednesday, June 4, and was asked about the mixed opinions regarding her and Dr. Squatch teaming up to create Sydney's Bathwater Bliss, a soap made with "a touch of Sydney's real bathwater."
"The internet was either all for it with some saying 'whatever makes men take showers,' " PEOPLE tells the star, who had a simple response to the question.
"I mean, honestly though," she replies.
The actress shared more details about her Dr. Squatch soap in an interview with E! News, and told the outlet during the red carpet before the premiere, "I think that it's more fun to see everybody else talk about it."
When asked how the bathwater concept was created, she cheekily added, "I pitched it."
Sydney's Bathwater Bliss was announced on Thursday, May 29 via a joint Instagram post between the body care company and Sweeney.
"You kept asking about my bathwater after the @drsquatch ad … so we kept it," the joint Instagram read. "Introducing Sydney's Bathwater Bliss! A very real, very limited-edition soap made with my actual bathwater. Available on 6/6/25 at drsquatch.com."
In addition to Sweeney's bathwater, the soap has notes of pine, Douglas fir and earthy moss.
'When your fans start asking for your bathwater, you can either ignore it, or turn it into a bar of Dr. Squatch soap,' the 27-year-old said in an official press release for the product.

She continued, 'It's weird in the best way, and I love that we created something that's not just unforgettable, it actually smells incredible and delivers like every other Dr. Squatch product I love. Hopefully, this helps guys wake up to the realities of conventional personal care products and pushes them towards natural.'
Only 5,000 bars of Sydney's Bathwater Bliss have been made. The soap will become available for fans to purchase on Friday, and will remain on the Dr. Squatch website until supplies last.

Christy Carlson Romano is speaking out about nearly losing an eye after she was shot in the face four months ago. During an appearance on the upcoming June 10 episode of the 'Not a Damn Chance!' podcast, via a sneak peek by People magazine, the 41-year-old former Disney star recalled the terrifying incident while she was shooting clay pigeons with her husband, Brendan Rooney, for his birthday. Asked how it happened, Romano explained she was not 'at liberty to say specifics,' according to People. The actress previously revealed on Instagram that she was 'hit in five places,' including below her eye. Romano shared details for the first time about what transpired. 'It's a birdshot that got sprayed in my direction by another party, and essentially it was within 200 feet, which means really fast and hot,' she told hosts Neen Williams and Frankland Lee. 'They weren't malicious,' Romano clarified. 'It wasn't aggravated assault. It's what happened.' The former Broadway star admitted that it has been difficult to accept she is a 'gunshot survivor.' Shooters use shotguns, with each shot projecting hundreds of small lead balls to hit the clay pigeons. The sport is typically not considered dangerous as long as safety measures are follow.
