Drama and tension unfold in the upcoming episodes of
Wagle Ki Duniya
as the otherwise cheerful narrative takes a serious turn.
Sakhi
(played by Chinmayee Salvi) finds herself at the center of a distressing hit-and-run case that threatens to upend her world and that of her family.
The plot thickens when a street child unexpectedly runs in front of her car, leading to an unfortunate accident.
Though the boy is immediately rushed to the hospital, a video of the incident goes viral — turning public opinion and legal scrutiny sharply against Sakhi.
The police allege that Sakhi jumped a signal, and soon after, they arrive to arrest her on hit-and-run charges. The Wagle family rallies around her, trying to make sense of the situation and deal with the emotional aftermath.
Sakhi, overwhelmed with guilt and concern, offers to cover the child's medical expenses. But what happens next leaves everyone stunned.
In a shocking twist, the injured child's parents make an outrageous demand — they ask Sakhi to become a surrogate mother for them, revealing their long-standing struggle to have another child. They even promise to withdraw the police complaint if she agrees, leaving the Wagles grappling with an ethical and emotional dilemma.

But at the same time, they're trying to understand what really happened, and how to keep Sakhi from being pulled into such a serious allegation.'

Sikh body files FIR against Sukanta for hurling slipper
Kolkata: An FIR was lodged against junior Union minister and Bengal BJP president Sukanta Majumdar at Kalighat police station on Saturday for allegedly hurling a slipper at a Sikh man during a protest on June 12 over the Maheshtala violence. Sri Guru Singh Sabha general secretary Inderjeet Singh Sekhon, who lodged the FIR, said: "Such an act is not only an affront to the Sikh community but also violates the basic fabric of India's constitutional values that ensure respect for all religions and communities. The deliberate nature of the act is clearly visible, leaving no scope for any unintentional justification." The FIR claimed that on June 12, Majumdar threw the slipper at the crossing of Hazra Road and Harish Chatterjee Street. The FIR was lodged under BNS sections 302 (protects individuals from actions intended to harm their religious sentiments) and 115(2) (voluntarily causing hurt). Satnam Singh Ahluwalia, general secretary of Gurdwara Behala and member West Bengal Minorities Commission, said: "We demand an unequivocal public apology and strict legal action to ensure accountability. Words alone are not enough—this moment requires decisive steps to show that such acts of disrespect have no place in our society." by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch CFD với công nghệ và tốc độ tốt hơn IC Markets Đăng ký Undo Trinamool Congress, which posted the FIR on X, claimed that the Sikh community had "responded with rightful anger" against Majumdar. "They have demanded an immediate and unconditional apology and warned of widespread protests if their voice is ignored," the party wrote. Dismissing the allegation, BJP's Rajya Sabha MP Samik Bhattacharya said Majumdar had only thrown a paper cut-out of a slipper. "The Sikh people are being insulted by planting a concocted story," he said. "People like Majumdar and I grew up learning about the sacrifices of Guru Teg Bahadur and Guru Gobind Singh."

At redressal meetings, police tackle civic and family issues
Panaji: Property disputes, family disputes, money transfers in good faith, encroachment on properties, parking issues, and blocking access by neighbour were some of the issues raised by the public with senior police officers at the Public Grievances Redressal meetings. A total of 25 petitions were submitted, and 100 people attended the meetings at various police stations. 'The complainants were assured of speedy redressal of their grievances,' SP (North) Rahul Gupta said. Gupta said that not caring for senior citizens, property disputes, traffic issues and civil disputes were some of the issues discussed at the meeting. Those who filed complaints and saw no action initiated by police attended the meeting. A deputy superintendent of police (DySP) heard the grievances and directed police to take necessary action to resolve the issues. During the meeting, some people said they gave money in good faith to a person who is now unwilling to return it despite repeated requests.
