The British producer and director married former supermodel Schiffer in 2002.
Schiffer, 54, was spotted in the posh seats at the Gtech Community Stadium alongside their two daughters for Brentford's home defeat to Nottingham Forest in December 2024.
Now Vaughn is said to be working with South African businessman Gary Lubner on buying a minority stake in the Bees.
Brentford declined to comment.

BEE THE ONE Arsenal make £9.3m bid for Brentford star Norgaard, with Partey set to leave
But reports claim owner Matthew Benham would be willing to sell between ten and 20 per cent of his shares for £40million to £80m, valuing the club at £400m.
Gambling and statistics mogul Benham has spent more than £100m of his own money transforming Brentford.
The Bees have climbed from League One to the top half of the Premier League and opened a new stadium since he took full control of the club in 2014.
But Benham is understood to recognise that outside investment will be necessary if Brentford are to continue to thrive and develop.

The Bees have already seen boss Thomas Frank leave for Tottenham and are set to lose another star player, Bryan Mbeumo, this summer.
Extra cash would give them a better chance of competing with rivals on wages and transfer fees.
Why Thomas Frank is the PERFECT manager for Tottenham
Vaughn, who also directed Layer Cake and X Men: First Class, would bring some showbiz glamour to Brentford - whose current shirt sponsor is Hollywoodbet.
He is also rich.
The production company he co-owns with Schiffer, Marv Studios, revealed a profit of £77.4m in its last accounts.
But Lubner is a more wealthy and controversial figure.
He is the former CEO of Belron, the owners of Autoglass, and is one of the biggest donors to the Labour Party during the leadership of Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.
In 2023 alone, Lubner contributed more than £4.5m to Labour coffers.

Oscar Bobb determined to secure Man City future at Club World Cup
But his hopes of making a big first-team breakthrough were dashed when he fractured his leg in training last August. After an aborted comeback in February, he did not play again until April. Now back to full fitness, the 21-year-old has made two substitute appearances in the United States and is determined to establish himself in manager Pep Guardiola's new-look side. Bobb looked close to establishing himself in the City first team when he scored a late winner at Newcastle in January 2024 (Owen Humphreys/PA) Guardiola, having already overseen the arrival of four new players this summer, has said some players are likely to leave before the new Premier League season, but Bobb does not plan to be one of them. Bobb said: 'I expect to be here. I think that's the way I have to look at it and try and impress every chance I get. 'I want to play as much as possible, be decisive and play in the big games. 'It's a fresh start for me as well as the team and I think from here on out we can just build. 'I think I'm ready now but we've got 27 players. If I get a chance to play – it doesn't matter for how long – I'll take it.' City are already assured of a place in the last 16 having won their opening two games in Group G by an aggregate score of 8-0. Recovery sessions by the sea hit different 🌊 — Manchester City (@ManCity) June 24, 2025 Yet they remain behind Juventus on goals scored and must beat the Italians in Orlando on Thursday to top the pool and avoid a meeting with the winners of Real Madrid's group in the next round. Although there is a possibility of thunderstorms, the match is set to take place in the hottest part of the day with the kick-off at 3pm local time, when the temperature is forecast to reach 32C. Bobb insists the team will be ready with preparations having gone well and spirits high at their training base in Boca Raton on Florida's south-east coast. He said: 'It's warmer than we're used to but it's the same for everyone. We're training in this heat and we just have to get used to it, because it will be like that. 'We've got a great hotel. There's lots to do. There's basketball, table tennis and obviously there's a lot of matches, so we stay watching them. 'I think it's been great to see teams from all over the world doing so well and a lot of competition, so it's been good.'

'I'd rather take a points deduction' - fans on Martinez future
We asked for your views on who Aston Villa should buy if goalkeeper Emi Martinez leaves the club this are some of your comments:Ian: If Martinez does leave let's make sure we get best price possible and we should look at either Henderson or Ramsdale to replace him. Both I feel are very good young keepers who have Premier League experience and can only improve. The other option is young Trafford from Burnley. We also need a good back-up as I'm surprised that no-one has mentioned Ramsdale as a potential replacement if Martinez I'd rather Emi Martinez stayed at Villa next season. Goalkeepers with international pedigree and silverware are incredibly difficult to find at reasonable prices. Not to mention his leadership and charisma on and off the pitch! But if we have to let him go, I think Unai Emery should sign the goalkeeper that won him his most recent Europa League: Geronimo If Martinez goes, Chevalier seems a good choice. At the end of the day no one player is bigger than the I'd rather take a 6/10 point deduction than use Martinez's sale to pass PSR. A new goalkeeper having to gel with our defence will cost us those points throughout the news notifications on your club

Jimmy White lands new job as 63-year-old snooker legend edges closer to £140,000 prize
Jimmy White lands new job as 63-year-old snooker legend edges closer to £140,000 prize Jimmy White has been rocking the baize since he turned professional in 1980, but the snooker star is set to begin a brand new career on our television screens Jimmy White will soon be embarking on a brand new venture (Image: Tai Chengzhe, VCG via Getty Images ) Jimmy White is used to hearing snooker referees announce his score after every pot - soon he will be hearing a director shout 'Action' at him. At the age of 63, White has begun the new snooker campaign in excellent fashion. He moved one step closer towards the £140,000 first prize at the Wuhan Open by overcoming Anthony McGill 5-2 in his qualifier. The victory means he has cruised into the last 64 of the prestigious Chinese competition, which starts on August 24. However, things are getting exciting away from the table, as 'The Whirlwind' has also secured a cameo in a new TV crime drama. He will be appearing in the television adaptation of 'Write To Kill', penned by renowned London author David P. Perlmutter. The plot centres on an aspiring, indebted writer grappling with creative stagnation until he's propositioned with a lucrative yet immoral task. Reports from Deadline reveal that White is cast as the director of an estate agency, who notably dismisses the protagonist within a snooker hall setting. The book, launched back in 2019, has a synopsis which says: "Caught up in the machinations of the underworld and at the mercy of a London gangland boss, Mad Dog, will this budding writer accept the money, commit the crime, and leave his innocence behind him?" Article continues below The project is currently under development and is slated to be filmed in London and New York. Confirmed cast members include Charlotte Kirk and Elena Sanchez from The Hunger Games. This week, White delivered a stellar performance against former World Championship semi-finalist McGill, 45 years after he first turned professional in 1980. The Scot clinched the first frame with a break of 51, but White then demonstrated his enduring skill by securing five of the next six at Leicester's Mattioli Arena. Impressive scores of 92, 80, 90, and 71 ensured that the seasoned player advanced to the last 64. There, the former Masters and UK champion is set to face off against former Grand Prix winner Marco Fu. Like White, Fu is competing on the main circuit courtesy of an invitational wildcard. Jimmy White rolled back the years in his Wuhan Open qualifier (Image: Getty ) Article continues below The Hong Kong player showcased his own enduring prowess with a 5-3 victory over recent Crucible quarter-finalist Chris Wakelin. Despite being well into his 60s, White still has an eye on competing at the top level for longer. He recently told the Stephen Hendry Cue Tips podcast: "For me to still be able to play and compete now is like a godsend. "I'm going to play for another three years and if I don't win a tournament, I'm going to stop. I'm 62. People think, 'Why are you doing it? You're nuts.'"
