Shah Rukh Khan's King is one of the most-awaited films. He will be seen with his daughter Suhana Khan. Well, looks like fans have to wait more as the recent report has suggested that it is likely to be released in 2027. Well, no official confirmation is there.
Mid-Day has reported that the makers have delayed the filming of King due to Shah Rukh Khan's shoulder injury, which he had while shooting an action sequence for the action thriller. Quoting an insider, the report stated that the King team has paused the shooting as the superstar requires some rest for a couple of weeks before he can face the camera again.
Shah Rukh Khan Suffers Injury During King Shoot:
According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the superstar sustained an injury while shooting an intense action sequence at Golden Tobacco studio in Mumbai. Though the specifics of the injury remain confidential, insiders reveal that SRK has now flown to the United States for medical attention.
'It's not a serious injury, but more of a muscular strain," a source close to the production shared. 'Over the years, Shah Rukh has picked up multiple injuries from stunt work, and this seems to be a result of accumulated stress." The insider added that the actor's team opted for precautionary care abroad, ensuring he receives the best treatment available.
Doctors have reportedly advised SRK to take a complete break for at least a month. As a result, the film's shooting schedule has been paused. Locations such as Film City, Golden Tobacco, and YRF Studios were initially booked through July and August, but the bookings have now been cancelled until further notice. The next schedule is expected to resume sometime in September or October.
King cast:
King stars Shah Rukh Khan in the titular role as a formidable assassin deeply embedded in the criminal underworld. Meanwhile, recent reports suggest that Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Arshad Warsi, Abhay Verma, Raghav Juyal and Anil Kapoor have also joined the project in key roles. Suhana will be seen as Shah Rukh's student, taking training for deadly missions. Reportedly, both SRK and Suhana have undergone intense physical training for the film. Anil Kapoor has come on board to play Shah Rukh Khan's handler and mentor in the film. Anil's character will guide him through a gritty world of espionage and high-stakes action.
The makers have also roped in international action directors to make sure the stunts are nothing short of epic.

Will fully cooperate for release of The Devil: Actor Darshan
Agency: PTI Bengaluru, Aug 16 (PTI) Kannada actor Darshan on Saturday said he would 'fully cooperate" for the release of his film 'The Devil'. He also expressed confidence that his 'celebrities" — as he calls his fans — will also stand by his decision. The message was conveyed through his wife Vijayalakshmi's Instagram account. Directed by Prakash Veer, the first song of the film was supposed to have been released on August 15. But with the Supreme Court cancelling his bail, Darshan was taken into custody a day before, on August 14. Following which, the plans for the film were reportedly put on hold. However, Darshan said his first duty is to support the directors who believed in him and the producers who have invested crores of money in him. 'So, I hope that all the work of my film 'The Devil' will proceed without any hindrance. I hereby inform you that you (makers of the film) have my full cooperation. And I firmly believe that my celebrities (fans) will consent to this," Darshan is quoted as saying in his wife's Instagram post. Darshan had wrapped up the film in July. The reshooting of the film started in February after the actor was released on regular bail. 'Cinema is an entertainment medium and should be viewed only from the perspective of entertainment," the actor said further through his wife's post. Darshan was arrested on June 11, 2024, in connection with Renukaswamy murder case. Darshan was granted interim bail on medical grounds after he claimed back pain. Delhi CM Rekha Gupta attends Janmashtami event at Kanjhawala ashram
New Delhi, Aug 16 (PTI) Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Saturday attended the 30th edition of the Krishna Janmashtami celebrations organised by the Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) at its Divyadham Ashram in Kanjhawala. According to a statement, Gupta also worshipped cows at the event, which drew more than 50,000 devotees. The celebrations included the Kaliya Naag Mardan Leela, and political leaders pledging commitment to environmental rejuvenation and Yamuna cleansing. 'The Sansthan is not only spreading the message of spirituality but is also committed to social upliftment, from empowering youth through de-addiction programmes to promoting women's empowerment," Gupta, according to the statement, said.
