Celebrity Big Brother 2025 reveals first evicted housemate

Yahoo12-04-2025

2025 spoilers follow.
Celebrity Big Brother has aired the first eviction of the series, as the public voted to save their favourites.
Last night, Jack P Shepherd and Michael Fabricant received the most nominations from their fellow housemates, putting them at risk of eviction. They were joined by Mickey Rourke, who was given the killer nomination by JoJo Siwa.
Meanwhile, Chris Hughes and Daley Thompson were exempt from the vote, having earned immunity earlier in the week.
In tonight's episode, the celebrities anxiously gathered in the living room, where it was revealed that Michael would be leaving the Big Brother house.

Speaking about his exit, Michael said: "I'm sad because we've all become so close friends, and I love everyone there. We really bonded, they were great people, they were kind."
Addressing the nomination process, he added: "We all found it very difficult to come up with any sensible reason to nominate anyone. In fact, I went in to the Diary Room and had two people in mind, couldn't find any reason and in the end I nominated two completely different people!"
Elsewhere in the episode, the celebrities woke up to a surprise power cut, leaving them without hot water, lighting and working appliances.

They were tasked with using their "star power" to restore the house's energy, starting with Chesney Hawkes who had to sing his debut hit 'The One and Only' while the housemates took turns to shower.
Other performances included a political speech from Michael, a dance routine from JoJo and skits from the actors. Patsy Palmer quoted her iconic EastEnders catchphrase, hilariously shrieking "Mickey!" at her Hollywood housemate.
Viewers were also treated to the first prank of the series, as the celebrities convinced Mickey that a disguised JoJo was new housemate "Billy". The pair shared multiple conversations together, before JoJo revealed her true identity to a baffled Mickey.
Celebrity Big Brother airs on ITV2 and ITVX.

General Hospital Rumor Reveals [Spoiler] Wins Custody Battle, but Who Blackmailed the Judge?

The custody war between Michael and Willow has fans of General Hospital thinking someone might have blackmailed the judge. After all, the latest episode, dated June 11, and the spoilers have signs of a few characters taking drastic measures to gain custody. So who is it? Drew, Carly, Jack, or someone else, here's an explainer. Michael won the custody battle on General Hospital. But it's not confirmed if he or someone else blackmailed the judge to win. However, fans believe Jack or Nina could have taken some steps to sway the decision in his favor. On the June 11 episode, tensions reached a peak as Michael met with Carly, Sonny, and Jason, revealing he would flee the country with the kids if the verdict didn't go his way. He was convinced Willow couldn't see the damage Drew was causing, and he wasn't willing to leave Wiley and Amelia in her care. His desperation hinted that the stakes were higher than ever. Shortly after, Michael received a court update, and according to recent GH spoilers, the judge ruled in his favor. While fans initially believed Willow had the stronger case, the outcome suggests something shady may have swayed the verdict. Cameron Mathison, who plays Drew Cain, added fuel to the fire when he responded to an Instagram rumor about Drew blackmailing Judge Eva Heran. He laughed it off, saying, 'He should have!!! Lol,' before spilling, 'But someone else did to get Michael custody.' That comment turned fan speculation into near-certainty. If Drew didn't do it, who did? Fans on social media have thrown out several possible suspects. 'My money is on Jack (for Carly) or Tracy,' one fan posted on Facebook. While another added, '[It could be] Nina to keep the kids away from Drew and help willow see his true colors.' Each possibility fits the General Hospital mold of twisted loyalties and secret deals. But whoever it was, their actions may have long-term consequences. At this point, nothing has been confirmed on-screen. But the internet buzz around the judge's decision keeps growing, with fans questioning if it was justice or just another behind-the-scenes power play. However, one thing's for sure that the battle between Michael, Willow, and Drew is far from over. And if blackmail really played a part in the verdict, it's only a matter of time before the truth surfaces and causes even more chaos. Switch 2 sells 3.5 million units in just 4 days to become the "fastest-selling Nintendo hardware ever," and it's already a quarter of a way to the Wii U's lifetime sales

Nintendo has sold 3.5 million Nintendo Switch 2 consoles in the first four days it was available, making it the fastest-selling Nintendo console ever. The console maker confirmed the news on the Nintendo of America Twitter account. On the leadup to the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo forecast that the console would sell 15 million units over the first year, and has hit over a fifth of that number in just four days, which makes that goal seem pretty likely to happen at this rate. Nintendo hasn't released any other sales numbers, such as the number of sales for Mario Kart World, but you'd have to imagine those were also pretty high given that it's the big launch game for the system. Considering the original Nintendo Switch sold 2.7 million consoles during its first month (thanks, Bloomberg), it really puts into perspective how much momentum Nintendo picked up during the Nintendo Switch era. And by comparison, the PS5 – which Sony dubbed its biggest console launch ever – had sold 4.5 million consoles in the first two months, something Nintendo is sure to surpass if it keeps up this momentum. And because it's customary to dunk on Nintendo's most underrated console, according to Nintendo's numbers, the Nintendo Switch 2 has sold over a quarter of the Wii U's lifetime sales in four days. Although to be fair to the Wii U, it had hit over 3 million sales within the first two months. Plus the Switch 2 doesn't have the best version of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, so who is the real winner here? "It looks like Nintendo did a good job" – Sonic boss Takashi Iizuka says Mario Kart World looks more like an action game, whereas Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds "really" focuses on racing and competitive play.

Why General Hospital's new Michael is already a success in my book

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. I know some General Hospital fans will say I'm jumping the gun here, but despite Rory Gibson only officially stepping into the role of Michael Corinthos as of May 23, he's already won me over. In fact, I won't even be shocked if Gibson becomes my favorite, and I don't say that lightly, considering how much I respect Chad Duell's tenure. So if you're wondering how I could make such bold proclamations this early, let's start with the subtleties of the way Gibson carries himself in the role. As some General Hospital viewers have noted, Gibson's walk as Michael remarkably resembles the walk of the Dimpled Kingpin himself, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). The storyteller in me can't help but wonder if this was a purposefully orchestrated move on the part of Gibson and the General Hospital team, possibly signaling that this version of Michael will take on more attributes of his father this go-around. I've always said that the Michael character as a whole can be as methodical and vengeful as his father, but he didn't share his dad's willingness to resort to deadly means to get a job done. However, given that Michael has suffered relentless blows to his family thanks to Drew (Cameron Mathison) and almost lost his life thanks most likely to Sidwell (Carlo Rota), perhaps Michael's more dangerous nature has been activated. With Sonny inching closer to retirement and a more 'above-board' lifestyle these days, I think it could be rather entertaining to see Michael pick up the Corinthos mantle to a degree (I would just hope Michael does a better job of protecting his kids from enemies if this proves to be the case). Gibson is also winning me over on General Hospital because of the way he presents Michael as a doting father. Not that Duell was unbelievable as a dad, but Gibson off the bat, has arguably had more impactful scenes with his children, mainly Wiley (Viron Weaver). Heck, Wiley running off the stage into Michael's arms at the end of the 2025 Nurses Ball was one of the highlights of the very dramatic affair. Then, in the General Hospital episode airing on May 27, Michael tucked Wiley into bed, explaining how much he loved his son, and my heartstrings were tugged on a bit. I may not have cried, but I won't pretend as if I weren't moved. Lastly, it's worth noting that despite the "new Michael' not having many interactions with Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Drew yet, I'm already getting the sense that he's ready to give #Drillow all they have coming to them. Considering Drew has seemed to outwit his opponents at every turn lately, even Tracy (Jane Elliot), I'm excited to see Gibson's Michael take down the tawdry couple, especially his uncle. Based on the following preview clip for the episodes airing during the week of May 26, Michael doesn't appear to be in the business of extending grace. Again, also a sign that Michael may become more like his father. All in all, I'm going to have to applaud the powers that be at General Hospital for the decision to cast Gibson. He's a great actor, and if you didn't know that from watching him as Noah on The Young and the Restless, it looks like you'll get to find out watching Gibson's Michael continue making a splash in Port Charles. New episodes of General Hospital air on weekdays on ABC. If you miss an episode, you can catch up on Hulu.
