'After my separation from Reena (Dutta), I was emotionally broken. I would drink a lot and shut myself off from people. One evening, Salman just dropped by for dinner. I don't even remember how it happened, but we ended up talking for hours. That night marked the beginning of our real friendship.'
Their relationship hadn't always been this warm. Their first film together, the 1994 cult classic Andaz Apna Apna, was marked by tension. 'Salman would often arrive late, and I found it frustrating. At the time, I thought we could never be friends. But meeting him years later, I had changed. I'd learned that everyone has flaws. We all make mistakes. That realisation helped me become less judgmental.'
Addressing the long-standing comparisons between the three Khans, Aamir took it all in stride. He stated that it was natural that people compare top performers, whether it's in cricket or cinema. He mentioned that he understood the curiosity in the media and among fans
In a lighter moment, Aamir recounted a funny memory from his time living on Carter Road while his home was being renovated. Kiran (Rao) and he were staying in a building where Jackie Shroff also lived. One day, he saw a huge crowd outside and thought. He rushed down, only to realise they were waiting for Tiger Shroff. Aamir's recent projects
Aamir is currently enjoying the success of his recent release Sitaare Zameen Par. The film has crossed the ₹ 100 crore mark in India and earned over ₹ 160 crore worldwide, becoming the fifth highest-grossing Bollywood film of the year.

Bikerwear style decoded: Beginner's guide to rocking streetwear fashion that's grit, glam and full-on rebelcore
Bikerwear has taken a U-turn from the highway and hit the high street, rolling straight into wardrobes. Yes, it's still built for long rides and rugged terrain, designed to endure the grit of bike trips. But now, biker style is incorporated into everyday streetwear for everyday edgy glam, from coffee runs to evening concerts. Biker girl aesthetic is taking over wardrobes.(Reference pics: Pinterest) There's no denying bikerwear has an innate rogue and rugged edge, but it's also earned serious style cred and won hearts as it gearshifted straight onto mood boards and OOTD posts. Bikerwear is still rooted in utility, made for the road and the dust, but today, it's also uber-cool, fashion-forward, exuding the right amount of nonchalant, runway attitude. ALSO READ: Commuter core decoded: 6 ways to comfortably style fashion trend that is for all the girls on the go In an interview with HT Lifestyle, Sangeet Kishore, Business Head at Royal Enfield Apparel, shared his expertise, explaining how biker gear has grown from pure utility to a fashion-forward style. He said, 'For decades, biker gear was purely functional, built to withstand road rash and weather the miles. But somewhere between the rise of streetwear and the fall of fast fashion, biker gear did what it was destined to do: it became undeniably cool. Part of this trend comes from nostalgia and Gen Z's love for retro grunge and practical, rugged style. But it's also a reflection of where we are culturally." "Moto-fashion, with its protective fabrics and aggressive silhouettes, is rising. It is quietly tough, endlessly adaptable, and built for movement. After years of fashion leaning into the performative, there's a shift towards substance. And this is where moto-wear lands, just the right amount of edge, wrapped in gear that was made to handle impact,' explained Sangeet. Biker aesthetic is cool and mysterious among the youth. (PC: Royal Enfield Apparel and Pinterest) Sangeet Kishore from Royal Enfield Apparel shared a detailed guide with us, covering how classic biker gear is reimagined for modern wardrobes: The iconic jacket, reinvented The motorcycle jacket has always been a symbol of rebellion, from Brando and Beckham to Bollywood stars. But the 2025 version is all about smart design. It's lighter, has zip vents, waterproof fabric, and handy velcro patches. Some come in bold colours, others stay classic with vintage touches. No matter the style, it adds shape and instantly upgrades a simple tee and jeans. Pro tip: Wear it open over a loose shirt or a neat polo. Cargo pants upgrade Skinny jeans had a good run. But when you've experienced trousers designed with superflow mesh, four-way stretch, and abrasion-resistant fabric, it's hard to go back to anything that isn't engineered. These aren't just for rides, they're ideal for quick city trips, airport runs, or even just relaxing at home. You can pair them with boxy knits or cropped bombers for a cool, modern look. Boots The boots coming out of motorcycle stables now are thick-soled, water-repellent, and unapologetically bold. Some still have details from their off-road roots, like padded ankles and grippy soles, but now people wear them with skirts, cargo shorts, or even suits. They make your feet feel strong, safe, and ready for any puddle or rough road, which is a win for both style and comfort. Accessories Accessories include heavy-duty crossbodies, weatherproof duffels, toolkits disguised as pouches, and gloves that look like they've seen some things. In the age of 'quiet utility', these pieces are having their fashion moment. What's more, the best accessories now have a vintage feel, with tan leather, aged metal and canvas rolls that look like they came from an old motorcycle bag.

‘D Gukesh has done it': R Praggnanandhaa defends Magnus Carlsen's controversial table slam reaction, says ‘it was an…'
Norway Chess 2025 saw D Gukesh script his maiden classical win against World No. 1 Magnus Carlsen. The reigning world champion had already lost to Carlsen in the opening round, but had other plans in Round 6, when they faced each other again. R Praggnanandhaa spoke about Magnus Carlsen's table slam reaction after losing to D Gukesh. In their second meeting of the tournament, Carlsen had the advantage, but a massive blunder in the endgame saw Gukesh win the game. Meanwhile, Carlsen was left fuming as he slammed the table in anger. Since then, Carlsen's reaction has gone viral on social media, and has become an iconic meme. New India No. 1 R Praggnanandhaa was recently asked about his perspective on Carlsen's table slam reaction. Speaking to PTI, he said, 'Yes, it was an instinctive reaction. I think it does happen to players. I've done it sometimes, but rarely.' 'I mean, it's (me hitting the table) not as powerful as Magnus because he's a strong guy, but Gukesh has done it and many others. It's just an instinctive reaction because you're so focused that it just comes out. 'But, I mean, is it a good thing? Maybe not. I don't think so because I guess it's not good. (Having said that), I think so many people got to know that something like this happened and it became such a big thing on the internet. 'And, I think it's good for the game in a way because a lot of people got to know that there was such a tournament going on and that such a dramatic game happened. 'So, I think there are some good things and bad things, but I think overall, chess is growing. That's what matters,' he added. The 19-year-old also recently became the new world No. 4 and India No. 1. He has an Elo rating of 2778.3, followed by D Gukesh (2776.6) in fifth position. Meanwhile, Arjun Erigaisi is sixth with an Elo rating of 2775.7.

Azharuddin's Son, Sania Mirza's Sister: How These Two Families Became One
Last Updated: Azharuddin's elder son, Mohammad Asaduddin, is married to Anam Mirza, the younger sister of tennis icon Sania Mirza - a high-profile union that brought together both the families The story of former cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin is one of dazzling highs and devastating lows, both on and off the field. Once among the most elegant batsmen and successful captains, Azhar's life off the pitch has been no less dramatic. From cricket glory and match-fixing controversy to high-profile marriages and personal tragedies, Azharuddin's journey reads like a Bollywood script, and in one chapter, even stars one of its actresses. Azhar married twice. His first wife, Naureen, gave birth to two sons – Mohammad Asaduddin and the younger, Mohammad Ayazuddin. After separating from Naureen, Azhar tied the knot with Bollywood actress Sangeeta Bijlani, though that marriage, too, ended in divorce. A tragic twist came in 2011 when Azhar's younger son Ayazuddin died following a road accident in Hyderabad. The 19-year-old had been riding a sports bike that skidded near the city's Outer Ring Road. While Azhar's nephew, who was also on the bike, died on the spot; Ayaz was critically injured and succumbed to his injuries after five days in the hospital. Azharuddin's elder son, Mohammad Asaduddin, has led a different path, but still intertwined with fame, ambition, and public life. In December 2019, Asad married Anam Mirza, the younger sister of tennis icon Sania Mirza, making for a high-profile union that brought together two of Hyderabad's most prominent sporting families. This was Anam's second marriage. She had previously wed businessman Akbar Rashid in 2016, before parting ways in 2018. Post-divorce, Anam reinvented herself as a successful entrepreneur. She now runs fashion ventures like The Label Bazaar and Dua India, becoming a recognisable face in the fashion circuit. Asad, too, once pursued cricket, hoping to follow in his father's footsteps. A left-handed batsman, he represented domestic teams like Hyderabad Colts XI and Goa. But unlike his father, who played 99 Tests and 334 ODIs before a match-fixing scandal ended his international career, Asad's time on the pitch was short-lived; he played just two first-class matches in 11 days. Today, both father and son are attempting innings in politics. While Azharuddin served as a Congress MP from Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh and later contested unsuccessfully from Jubilee Hills in the 2023 Telangana Assembly elections, Asaduddin has recently entered the political fray. A trained lawyer, he was appointed General Secretary of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC). Azhar called the moment an emotional one, publicly celebrating his son's political rise.
