Ex-UFC star Darren Till open to competing for PFL: 'I would actually love a bash at it'
Darren Till is exploring other options for a potential return to MMA.
Till meets fellow ex-UFC fighter Darren Stewart May 16 in a boxing match, which headlines Misfits Boxing 21 in Derby at the Vaillant Live.
Till is still interested in a return to the cage. While a UFC comeback is what's been on his mind for the past couple of years, there's been some recent developments.
"I'm not too old in the sport," Till told Bloody Elbow. "My body's not broken, even though I've obviously had trouble with my knees. But I'm fresh. I don't feel like I have any case of that CTE. I pronounce my words properly. I've got a solid brain on myself even though I know I say some mad things sometimes. That's just public persona – obviously I'm a mad c*nt, but I don't think I have any early signs of CTE, or I hope not.
'So I might go back. Depending on things, I might try my hand at the PFL, have a little go. I speak to them quite a bit, and look, if the UFC want me back, then let's see what happens with all that. I've spoke to the PFL, and I like the way they do their organization. I would actually love a bash at it. It just depends then if the UFC would have me back after that. I don't know. I think I still have a few years left in me."
Till was most recently seen in action in January when he defeated Anthony Taylor by Round 6 TKO under the Misfits Boxing banner. He's 2-0 in exhibition bouts since parting ways with the UFC following a submission loss to current middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis at UFC 282 in December 2022.

Report – Inter Milan Set Hakan Calhanoglu Asking Price As Key Step Toward Securing Suitable Replacement

Report – Inter Milan Set Hakan Calhanoglu Asking Price As Key Step Toward Securing Suitable Replacement Inter Milan are reluctant to let Hakan Calhanoglu join Galatasaray and will only do that on their own terms. Per Tuttosport via FCInterNews, it will take around €25 million to persuade the Nerazzurri to give the green light. Advertisement Galatasaray's interest in Hakan Calhanoglu is genuine. Furthermore, the 31-year-old seems inclined to accept the Turkish heavyweights' contract proposal. Indeed, Okan Buruk's charges are willing to offer him a substantial pay rise to convince him to return to Turkey. Calhanoglu earns around €6.5m net per season at the San Siro. However, his wages would hit a €10m landmark at Rams Park. Inter Milan Name Hakan Calhanoglu Price Tag Amid Galatasaray Rumors MILAN, ITALY – MARCH 08: Hakan Calhanoglu of FC Internazionale celebrates after scoring their team's second goal during the Serie A match between FC Internazionale and AC Monza at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on March 08, 2025 in Milan, Italy. (Photo by) While Galatasaray are ready to hand Calhanoglu a substantial contract, they won't break the bank to strike a deal with Inter. Indeed, relying on the player's will to join, they'd put forward a meager €15m bid. Advertisement Yet, that's well short of Inter's demands. With the ex-AC Milan midfielder ready to pack his bags, Beppe Marotta is scouring the market for replacements. Lazio's Nicolo Rovella tops Marotta's shortlist. Meanwhile, Atalanta's Ederson and Torino's Samuele Ricci are other profiles carefully examined by the Nerazzurri chief. However, they all command significant price tags. Therefore, Inter won't let Calhanoglu leave without a suitable financial return.

Why is Dundee's Robertson training with Ramos at Monterrey?

You would be forgiven for doing a double take if you came across recent footage of Dundee's Finlay Robertson training with Real Madrid legend Sergio Ramos. As part of the Dens Park side's strategic partnership with Monterrey, 22-year-old Robertson has joined up with the Mexican club to train this summer. Advertisement That has seen Robertson rub shoulders with multiple Champions League winner Ramos, who joined Rayados in February, as well as former Sevilla forward Lucas Ocampos and ex-Spain midfielder Sergio Canales. Monterrey are involved in this summer's Club World Cup and open their group fixtures against Inter Milan on Wednesday. Some social media speculation suggested Robertson could be registered to play in the tournament, but he does not appear to be in the squad. So how did all of this come about? While Monterrey representatives were checking up on Mexican youngsters Victor Lopez and Cesar Garza, who joined Dundee in January, they were impressed by academy graduate Robertson. Advertisement "One of the directors of Monterrey came over to watch to see how Chespi and Cesar were doing," midfielder Robertson said. "They watched training throughout the week and signalled me out as one they would like to see more of." And how is the 22-year-old finding it? "It's a bit surreal at times being on the same training pitch with such big names," he added. "But showing you can hold your own with them, it fills me with confidence."
