The workshop aims to strengthen regional cooperation in safeguarding vital oil and gas infrastructure, improve crisis response strategies, and enhance coordination mechanisms among GCC member states.

Qatar participates in Executive Council meeting of Arab Bureau of Education for Gulf States
DUBAI: The State of Qatar participated in the 94th session of the Executive Council of the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States (ABEGS) and the workshop of the Undersecretaries of Ministries of Education in the member states on the strategic directions of the bureau. The workshop was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with the participation of the undersecretaries of Ministries of Education in the member states. The Qatari delegation was headed by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education HEDrIbrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi, and a member of the Executive Council of the Education Bureau of the State of Qatar. At the beginning of his speech, the undersecretary of the ministry emphasized the importance of the meeting in strengthening the educational process and joint work among the Gulf states, and developing educational systems in line with future aspirations, achieving forward-looking goals that serve the peoples of the region and future generations, and consolidating their competitive position on the global level. He also praised the programmes and activities of the Office and its affiliated bodies during the past financial cycle, stressing that they achieved the desired goals according to the outputs, achievement indicators and reports, in addition to developing the educational policies and practices adopted by member states, which strengthened joint Gulf action and fruitful cooperation. The 94th session of the Executive Council of the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States (ABEGS) discussed the final accounts and financial statements, the draft regulations for developing the bureau's additional financial resources, and a presentation by the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences on the quality of education in the GCC countries and the foundation's initiatives, in addition to a number of other topics on its agenda.

PM, Uzbek FM to co-chair joint coordination council meet today
Tribune News Network Doha Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan HE Bakhtiyor Saidov will co-chair the inaugural meeting of the Joint Coordination Council between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Uzbekistan. The meeting will be held on Thursday in Doha. The Joint Coordinating Councilwas established under the Strategic and Bilateral Partnership Agreement between the two countries. Around 40 agreements have been signed between the two countries across multiple sectors, most notably in economic, political, cultural, investment, educational, legal, and environmental cooperation. Qatari citizens are exempt from entry visas to Uzbekistan, while Uzbek citizens may enter Qatar without a visa for up to 30 days.

Qatar participates in 31st meeting GCC Committee for Under-Secretaries of Post and Telecommunications
KUWAIT: The State of Qatar, represented by the Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA), participated in the 31st Meeting of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) Committee for Under-Secretaries of Post and Telecommunications, held in the State of Kuwait. The Qatari delegation was headed by CRA President Eng Ahmad bin Abdulla AlMuslemani. The meeting included discussions on several issues related to the development of the postal and telecommunications sectors in GCC countries, as well as following up on a set of previous decisions. The discussions also highlighted the importance of continuing joint efforts to keep pace with digital transformation and to further advance sustainable development and innovation in the region. In a statement on this occasion, Eng AlMuslemani said: "Qatar's participation in this meeting reaffirms our firm commitment to the joint GCC cooperation in the postal and telecommunications sectors, which are fundamental to achieving regional development and integration. This also aligns with the efforts led by the Communications Regulatory Authority to implement its strategy in support of the goals of the Qatar National Vision 2030, contributing to enhancing the State of Qatar's regional and international standing in the postal and telecommunications sectors, and making GCC cooperation a shared platform for sustainable development and innovation."
