Buchanan extends Chelsea deal until 2027
Chelsea defender Kadeisha Buchanan has signed a contract extension with the club until 2027. The Canada international has made 50 appearances for the Blues since joining in 2022, winning an FA Cup and two Women's Super League titles in her first two seasons. "I am really excited to have extended my contract here at Chelsea. The club has turned into family, and I feel settled in the country and the league as well, " said Buchanan."I can't wait to get back out there with the team to achieve what we aim to accomplish every single season and more."Buchanan is currently sidelined with an anterior cruciate ligament injury suffered during Chelsea's 3-0 league win at Liverpool in November.Head of women's football Paul Green added: "We are delighted Kadeisha has extended her deal with the club. "Kadeisha was showing some of the best form of her Chelsea career prior to her injury this season and we look forwarding to seeing her return to action next season."
