FORMER WWE star Duke Droese has been arrested after allegedly trying to buy indecent images of children on the dark web.
The wrestler, who was known as "The Dumpster" due to him bringing a trash can to the ring, was involved in Royal Rumbles in the mid 90s.

He was part of the WWE for two years, becoming the first man to defeat legend Triple H.
But the 56-year-old, whose real name is Michael Droese, has now been indicted on one count of attempted aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor.
Reports suggest he tried to purchase the indecent material using cryptocurrency.
But Coinbase intercepted and flagged it to the FBI.
District Attorney General Chris Stanford of the 31st Judicial District of Tennessee said in a statement: "Purchasing child sexual assault material is an aggravated crime.
"The money used to purchase the material is what continues to make child sexual assault material profitable for criminal enterprises produce it and sell it across the world.
"However, because Mr Droese was unsuccessful in securing the child sexual assault material he intended to purchase, the charge becomes a Criminal Attempt.
"Thus, the decision was made to charge one count of Attempted Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor."
Droese has since been released on bail.
And he could supposedly face two to four years in jail.
Despite leaving WWE in 1996, he did return for WrestleMania 17 in 2001.
He was last in the ring two years ago as part of Major League Wrestling.

Recent reports have suggested Vince McMahon wants to buy back the WWE from TKO. 'He doesn't work for the company, doesn't come into the office and he's not coming back to the company. And that's where we sit.' And it seems TKO have double down on their stance, as a new report from PWN Reports has claimed that the company still have no interest in selling to McMahon. In fact, WWE insiders reportedly view the notion of McMahon returning as laughable, considering the heinous nature of the allegations made towards him. A post on X read: 'I was given word that TKO is not interested in selling off #WWE. And the source I spoke with chuckled at the thought of Vince purchasing it back. 'It's very possible he may feel like he wants it back, but seems very unlikely at this point since WWE is not for sale.' Part of Grant's 67-page lawsuit accused McMahon of pressuring her for sexual relations in exchange for her job. McMahon allegedly 'greeted her in his underwear, touched her, repeatedly asked for hugs, and spent hour sharing intimate details about his personal life'. Once employed, Grant alleged that McMahon and John Laurinaitis, who served as head of talent relations for the WWE, sexually assaulted her 'while colleagues were busy at their desks.' Her allegations include that McMahon and Laurinaitis locked her in a room at the WWE's Stamford, Connecticut headquarters in June of 2021 and took turns sexually assaulting during the work day. The married McMahon is additionally accused of trafficking Grant to other men, forcing her to perform sex acts 'on demand' and sharing nude photographs of the plaintiff. In one alleged text message from 2020, he is accused of sharing a photo of her with others and writing: 'She may scream and try to say NO!!although it would B difficult to say anything with a c*** down her throat.' Another message allegedly sent by McMahon to Grant a month earlier read: 'I'm the only one who owns U and controls who I want to f*** U.' A spokesperson for McMahon stated after Grant's allegations: 'This lawsuit is replete with lies, obscene made-up instances that never occurred, and a vindictive distortion of the truth. He [McMahon] will vigorously defend himself.'

A former WWE executive who had been fighting sexual abuse allegations in a lawsuit by an ex-employee has agreed to a confidential settlement and will now help the accuser as she continues suing the company and former leader Vince McMahon, representatives and lawyers said Wednesday. John Laurinaitis, WWE's former head of talent relations — who once wrestled under the name Johnny Ace — will aid Janel Grant in her lawsuit against McMahon and the worldwide wrestling entertainment conglomerate. Representatives for Grant and Laurinaitis lawyer Edward Brennan confirmed the settlement-cooperation deal and said Laurinaitis has 'evidence' against McMahon and the company, but wouldn't say what it was. 'His agreement to a confidential settlement is a pivotal next step toward holding McMahon and WWE accountable and bringing justice to Ms. Grant after years of sexual abuse and trafficking,' representatives for Grant and Laurinaitis said in a joint statement. "Mr. Laurinaitis looks forward to moving on with his life. We cannot provide any additional details at this time.' A court document filed Wednesday says Grant and Laurinaitis agreed to a dismissal of the lawsuit's claims against Laurinaitis, but allegations against the WWE and McMahon remain. McMahon's lawyer, Jessica Rosenberg, issued a statement in response. 'Today's dismissal of John Laurinaitis as a defendant doesn't alter the facts of this case in any way. Vince McMahon never mistreated Janel Grant," Rosenberg said. 'No matter how many press releases her team issues, the truth remains unchanged.' Rosenberg added that a lawyer for Laurinaitis previously said the lawsuit's allegations were unfounded. Representatives for the WWE did not immediately return emails seeking comment Wednesday. Grant sued the WWE, McMahon and Laurinaitis last year in federal court in Connecticut, where the WWE is based in Stamford. In graphic detail, she alleges McMahon coerced her into sex acts with him, Laurinaitis and others, and she claims both men sexually assaulted her. She says she was made to do humiliating acts during the encounters. The lawsuit also includes photos of sexual texts it says McMahon sent Grant. McMahon, former CEO and chairman of WWE, has denied Grant's allegations. He has previously said the lawsuit is 'replete with lies, obscene made-up instances that never occurred, and is a vindictive distortion of the truth. I intend to vigorously defend myself against these baseless accusations, and look forward to clearing my name.' His lawyers said in court documents that he had a consensual relationship with Grant and never mistreated her. Grant first started working for the WWE in 2019 as an entry-level employee in its legal department, a job arranged by McMahon, and later transferred to the talent relations department, where Laurinaitis was her boss. Grant has said she was eventually pressured into leaving her job with the WWE and signing a $3 million nondisclosure agreement. The lawsuit also seeks to have the agreement declared invalid, saying McMahon breached the deal by giving her $1 million and failing to pay the rest. Currently pending in the lawsuit are motions by McMahon, the WWE and Laurinaitis to move all the claims to arbitration. They said the lawsuit should not be allowed because Grant agreed to settle any disputes in arbitration as part of her nondisclosure agreement. McMahon resigned from WWE's parent company in January 2024 after Grant filed her lawsuit. At the time, McMahon stepped down from his position as executive chair of the board of directors at WWE's parent company, TKO Group Holdings. McMahon also resigned as WWE's CEO in 2022 amid a company investigation into allegations that match those in Grant's lawsuit. Artem Chigvintsev has purchased a new house in Napa Valley, California, after ex Nikki Bella was awarded their marital property in the divorce settlement. The Dancing with the Stars alum and the two-time WWE Divas Champion settled their divorce on April 30 and the settlement terms both parties agreed on have since been revealed. Nikki, 41, was awarded the former couple's marital home in Yountville, California, which she purchased in 2020 for $1,500,000, and he moved into shortly after. In the judgment of divorce, Artem, 42, listed his address as a rental in Napa where he had been living from October 2024 until the time of filing the child custody document last month. He was paying $4,995 per month for rent, per real estate records. He moved out of the marital home he shared with Nikki after his arrest, which took place in August, when he was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic violence. Charges were dropped a month later due to lack of sufficient evidence, according to the Napa County District Attorney's Office. . According to the deed exclusively obtained by Artem is now the owner of a three-bedroom, three-bathroom property on a secluded street. The home is less than 11 miles away, or a 20-minute drive, from his former marital home, which is now solely owned by Nikki and also has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Artem purchased the home two weeks ago for $915,000, but per real estate records, he took out a $640,500 loan, which he's expected to pay off by June 2026. He has two other properties, which are in Los Angeles County. In the divorce settlement, obtained by Artem was awarded his condo in Van Nuys, California, which he purchased in December 2022 for $323,000, and townhouse in Pacoima, California, which he purchased in February 2021 for $400,000. Nikki was awarded their marital home - with the exes keeping their own furniture and furnishings - but Nikki had to return her leased 2023 Mercedes to Artem by February 2025 because it was in his business' name. She also had to pay Artem an equalization payment in the sum of $200,000 to satisfy any claims related to the division of assets, debts, and reimbursements as a complete buyout of any and all spousal support obligations - which they both have waived. The first $100,000 of that was due by April 30, the date the judgment was executed. And $50,000 is due by June 1, followed by the other $50,000 due by December 31. In addition, she was ordered to pay Artem $3,500 per month for child support for their son Matteo. The parents share joint legal and physical custody of the four year old. Nikki spoke candidly on the latest episode of The Nikki & Brie Show podcast about their divorce settlement and her reaction to the $200,000 'steal.' 'Our settlement is what everyone saw. Yes, I had to give him $200,000. Spousal support, alimony,' she said, as twin sister Brie Bella chimed in, 'That's what happens when you're the breadwinner.' But according to Nikki, the $200,000 payout didn't leave her bitter - in fact, she shocked listeners by admitting she 'got a steal' in the deal. The Total Bellas star also revealed a jaw-dropping comment from the judge who oversaw their private mediation. 'Our judge said at the end of it, "This is the first time in all the years I've done this where a woman had to pay a man,"' Nikki recalled. '"You should be so damn proud that you built such an empire that someone wants a piece of it."' The couple got married in August 2022 in Paris. Nikki was granted a restraining order last year against Chigvintsev after accusing him of physical abuse. She said in legal docs that he had 'tackled [her] multiple times and pinned [her] to the ground while our child was present' during an argument over breakfast. She also claimed that Chigvintsev had become 'increasingly angry, snapping at me and yelling' after not being asked to return to Dancing With The Stars for season 33. Chigvintsev responded to the court that Garcia 'grew increasingly angry' with him on multiple occasions and had played the role of 'aggressor.' The So You Think You Can Dance alum previously broke his silence over his shock DV arrest as he reacted to prosecutors declining to file charges against him over the incident. 'I am incredibly relieved and grateful that the domestic violence charges against me have been dropped,' he said in a statement. 'This has been an extremely difficult time for me.
