According to multiple reports, Defenseman Samberg avoided a salary arbitration hearing and signed a three-year contract extension with the Winnipeg Jets on Wednesday.
Samberg was drafted 43rd overall by the Jets in 2017 and has spent his entire professional career in Manitoba. He appeared in a total of 216 games for the Jets and 64 for the Manitoba Moose in the AHL. The 26-year-old NHL player recorded career-best totals in goals (six), points (20), and/plus-minus rating (plus-34) in 60 games last season.
Besides, he added three assists in 13 playoff games.

The 26-year-old averaged 21:08 of ice time and recorded six goals, 14 assists, 120 blocked shots, 56 hits, 26 PIM, and a plus-34 rating. According to Reuters, Dylan Samberg has totaled 51 points (nine goals, 42 assists) in 216 career games since being selected by Winnipeg in the second round of the 2017
