Jeffrey Epstein Accuser Says She Alerted FBI About Trump In 1996 And 2006 But Was Ignored
Maria Farmer, the first to report Jeffrey Epstein, claimed she alerted law enforcement about Donald Trump in 1996 and 2006.
Maria Farmer, the first woman known to have reported Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell for sexual assault, told The New York Times that she alerted law enforcement officials as early as 1996 to investigate individuals in Jeffrey Epstein's orbit including US President Donald Trump.
Maria Farmer, an artist who worked for Jeffrey Epstein in the mid-1990s, said she specifically raised concerns about Donald Trump during interviews with law enforcement in both 1996 and 2006, following a disturbing encounter with him at Jeffrey Epstein's Manhattan office in 1995.
Maria Farmer Recounts Donald Trump- Jeffrey Epstein Exchange
Maria Farmer said the incident occurred late one night in 1995 when she was summoned to Jeffrey Epstein's office wearing running shorts. She recalled Donald Trump arriving in a suit, hovering over her and staring at her legs. Jeffrey Epstein then entered and, according to Maria Farmer, said to Donald Trump, 'No, no. She's not here for you."
The New York Times she had no further inappropriate interactions with Donald Trump and never saw him behave improperly toward other girls or women.
Maria Farmer first reported Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell's abuse to the NYPD and FBI in 1996. She said she repeated her warnings during a second FBI interview in 2006, again naming Donald Trump among those close to Jeffrey Epstein.
White House Denies Maria Farmer's Claims
The White House denied Maria Farmer's account as Communications Director Steven Cheung told The New York Times, 'The president was never in his office," referring to Jeffrey Epstein, adding, 'The fact is that the president kicked him out of his club for being a creep."
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt dismissed the report as 'tired and pathetic," adding, 'These are dumb NYTimes reporters recycling stories to link President Trump to Epstein."
Donald Trump's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein has drawn renewed scrutiny following political backlash over his administration's failure to release Epstein-related files. The US President has since called for the release of grand jury testimony, insisting he has 'nothing to hide."

Donald Trump rages against Democrats, amid Epstein Files fallout, says ‘before Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax...'
U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday criticised the Democrats, accusing them of orchestrating what he called the 'Jeffrey Epstein SCAM' in an attempt to divert attention from what he described as an exceptionally successful six months of his administration. He compared the situation to previous controversies, stating, 'It was the Russia, Russia, Russia hoax before now it's the Epstein SCAM.' Trump added that the 'Radical Left Democrats' are doing everything possible to distract from what many are calling the most successful six months in presidential history, claiming they've 'gone absolutely crazy' with another baseless political attack. In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote, 'The Radical Left Democrats are doing everything in their power to distract and obfuscate from our GREAT six months of service to America, results of which many are saying is the BEST six months in Presidential history. They have gone absolutely CRAZY, and are playing another Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax but, this time, under the guise of what we will call the Jeffrey Epstein SCAM. As things are revealed and, I hope will take place quickly, you will see that it is yet another Democrat CON JOB. Hopefully, the Grand Jury Files will put an end to this HOAX. Everyone should see what is there, but people who are innocent should not be hurt. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!' Donald Trump, 79, was previously known to have been a close associate of Jeffrey Epstein. According to a report by The Wall Street Journal on Wednesday, Trump's name appeared among hundreds identified during a Department of Justice review of the so-called 'Epstein files,' though no evidence of wrongdoing has emerged. Last week, Trump filed a $10 billion defamation lawsuit against The Wall Street Journal after it published a story claiming he had written a sexually suggestive letter to Epstein for his 50th birthday in 2003. Earlier on Thursday, a senior official from the U.S. Department of Justice spent several hours interrogating Ghislaine Maxwell, the jailed associate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Maxwell, 63, is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence after being found guilty in 2021 of recruiting underage girls for Epstein. Ghislaine Maxwell is the daughter of late British media tycoon and former Member of Parliament Robert Maxwell, who once owned the Daily Mirror and publishing giant Macmillan. Known for her elite connections, Ghislaine was a regular in high society circles and even counted Britain's Prince Andrew among her close friends, often being spotted at royal residences, including Windsor Castle, the news agency AP reported. Maxwell remains the only Epstein associate to have been convicted in connection with his crimes—a case that continues to fuel right-wing conspiracy theories alleging a wider network of trafficking involving high-profile individuals. The Radical Left Democrats are doing everything in their power to distract and obfuscate from our GREAT six months of service to America. It was the Russia, Russia, Russia hoax before now it's the Epstein SCAM. Epstein died in a New York jail cell in 2019 while awaiting trial for sexually exploiting hundreds of victims at his properties in New York and Florida. (With inputs from agencies)

Narendra Modi Breaks Indira Gandhi's Record, Becomes India's Second-Longest Serving PM
With 4,078 consecutive days in office, Narendra Modi now stands behind only Jawaharlal Nehru in terms of tenure as Prime Minister A day after signing the landmark India–UK Free Trade Agreement in London, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday made history once again by becoming the second-longest consecutively serving Prime Minister in India's history, surpassing Indira Gandhi's uninterrupted tenure of 4,077 days. While Jawaharlal Nehru, the country's first Prime Minister, remains India's longest-serving PM with a total of 6,130 days in office, Modi's achievement is nonetheless significant. With 4,078 days in office, Modi has reached a major milestone in a political career spanning nearly a quarter of a century — 24 years at the helm of democratically elected governments at both state and national levels. WHAT MAKES MODI'S PREMIERSHIP SPECIAL? First PM born post-Independence: Modi is the only Prime Minister born after 1947 to assume the nation's highest executive role. Longest-serving non-Congress PM: He has held office longer than any other Prime Minister from outside the Congress party. Majority on his own: He remains the only non-Congress leader to have secured an outright majority in the Lok Sabha. Echoes of Nehru and Indira: Modi is the first PM since Indira Gandhi in 1971 to win re-election with a majority and joins Jawaharlal Nehru as the only leader to lead his party to three successive general election victories. Consistent political leadership: Over the course of his political journey, Modi has led his party to six straight electoral victories — three in Gujarat (2002, 2007, 2012) and three at the national level (2014, 2019, 2024). In 2014, the BJP swept to power at the Centre with a brute majority, securing 272 seats, with Narendra Modi as its prime ministerial face. Five years later, the party bettered its performance, winning 303 out of 543 Lok Sabha seats. Although the BJP fell short of the halfway mark in 2024, it emerged as the single largest party and returned to power for a third consecutive term with the support of its NDA allies. Today marks a red-letter day in Narendra Modi's legacy, one on which he is likely to build his personal brand of politics further. Many would argue that Modi may be redefining the benchmarks of political longevity in the country, with his sights set on one day surpassing Nehru's 6,130 days in office. view comments First Published: July 25, 2025, 07:43 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
