The first indication of Param Sundari's postponement surfaced in the first week of June 2025 when Bollywood Hungama exclusively reported that Dinesh Vijan was considering shifting the film's release. As July 25 began to inch closer with no sign of the film's promotions — no new posters, songs, or trailer drops — it became evident that the romantic drama wouldn't meet its original release date. and Triptii Dimri which is slated to release on August 1 has already released its trailer.
While an official announcement was awaited, makers of Param Sundari dropped a subtle confirmation just yesterday. Maalik, starring
Rajkummar Rao
, released in cinemas on July 11, and attached to its theatrical prints were two teasers — one of them being Param Sundari. Interestingly, while the teaser was the same as the one that had been released back in May, there was one key change. The new teaser mentions, 'In cinemas worldwide this August'.
August 29 seems to be the only probable date as 1st August already has Dhadak 2 and August 14th has Hrithik Roshan- NTR Jr and Kiara Advani;s War 2 and Rajinikanth's Coolie.
Param Sundari's shift would conveniently allow
Ajay Devgn
's Son Of Sardaar 2 a solo release on 25th July.
An official announcement is expected soon, but as of now, all signs point to Param Sundari lighting up cinemas on August 29.
