Your guide to London Pride as the annual LGBTQ+ event kicks off this weekend
Off the back of another dazzling Pride month, the nation's capital is gearing up to host its annual Pride in London festivities, with more than a million expected to take part.
The month-long celebration of individuality and Pride will culminate with the parade on Saturday (July 5), although there will be plenty of LGBTQ+ events lined up afterwards.
More than 30,000 participants, making up 500 groups, take part in the UK's largest, and most diverse, Pride event. Here's the scoop on everything you need to know ahead of Pride in London 2025:
When is Pride in London 2025?
Pride in London is taking place on Saturday, July 5, beginning at 3pm. All events, including the parade, will run from 12pm until 8pm.
What is the Pride in London parade route?
The parade will set off from Green Park, by Hyde Park Corner tube station, before moving along Piccadilly towards Piccadilly Circus station. It will then travel south, down Haymarket, past Trafalgar Square and down Whitehall, before ending outside Big Ben.
The event areas include:

Golden Square – The World Stage
Leicester Square – LGBTQI, Women and Non-Binary Stage
Dean Street – The Cabaret Stage
Soho Square – Trans and Non-Binary Stage, with Pride in London Community Market

Who is performing at Pride in London?
Ain't Nobody star, Chaka Khan will headline this year's celebrations, which will take placed across the aforementioned six stages in central London.
Elsewhere, there will be entertainment provided by the juxebox musical Titanique's Lauren Drew, Frankie Grande, brother of Ariana, and RuPaul's Drag Race UK star La Voix. Below is an extended list of performers across each stage:

She retired in 2005 having won 12 major medals across a 10-year span, including Commonwealth golds over 1,500m in 1994 and 2002. Since retirement, Holmes has mentored young athletes, worked in TV and as a motivational speaker and written several books. She was made a Dame by Queen Elizabeth II in the New Year's Honours of 2005 and appointed Honorary Colonel of the Royal Armoured Corps Training Regiment in 2018. Andy Bell is best known for being half of the synth‑pop duo Erasure, the group behind the hit songs A Little Respect, Sometimes and Always. The singer released a solo album, Ten Crowns, earlier this year which features a song with the lead singer from Blondie, Debbie Harry. The Pride awards also honoured other 'heroes of the LGBTQ+ community', including Carla Antonelli, Spain's first openly transgender senator; Caroline Paige, the first openly trans officer in the British military; and the group Lesbians and Gays Support the Miners which featured in the 2014 film Pride and supported striking miners in 1984. Darren Styles, publisher of Attitude magazine, said: 'The Peugeot Attitude Pride Awards Europe 2025, supported by British Airways, have once again shone a spotlight on the incredible work being done within and for the LGBTQ+ community. 'This year, we're thrilled to celebrate 10 remarkable individuals who embody the spirit of pride, resilience, and progress. 'Their stories and achievements inspire us all and remind us of the power of visibility and authentic self-expression.' Mr Styles said the Attitude Magazine Foundation had raised almost £20,000 for LGBTQ+ causes through the event on Friday.

Frankie Grande Has Released His Debut Album And Received Sage Advice From Sister Ariana
Frankie Grande, the elder brother of pop sensation and Oscar-nominee Ariana Grande, has released a debut album entitled 'Hotel Rock Bottom'. It is inspired by his sobriety journey and was released in tandem with Pride month. 'I'm eight years sober,' he told ITV News. 'Had I tried to release an album while I was drinking and using, I probably would have never released it, it probably would never have seen the light of day. If it did, god knows what it would have sounded like. I'm grateful that I took my time and waited until my instrument was clean and pure, and I could tell the stories that I wanted to tell.' Frankie, 42, is an American actor, singer, dancer, television host and producer who boasts 1 million Instagram followers and 1.5M TikTok followers. He performed on Broadway as Franz in the musical Rock of Ages (2014–2015) and in Mamma Mia! (2007–2010) and has also starred in regional theatre productions. 'The LGBTQ+ community has always been so accepted here, especially in music. I do think you have broken many queer artists here before the United States.' Frankie spoke openly about how supportive his family has been, both about his sexuality and his sobriety journey. 'I'm so blessed that I have such an amazingly accepting family who has allowed me to be my authentic self and supported me through some of the difficulties of being a public figure who is out, loud and proud!' 'As someone who has the privilege to be this gay publicly,' he continued, 'I'm really grateful to be handing the microphone, and I'm hoping to inspire younger people to feel empowered and to be themselves authentically.' Frankie says his younger sister Ariana, who is one of the leads in the mega-hit Wicked , has given him some sage advice about his music career. 'She's been unbelievable throughout this process. I think the thing she's learnt throughout her many years in the music industry is to trust her gut. For me, as a fledgling artist, I am scared to trust my gut; I will overthink things if I'm allowed to. I learnt from her to trust your gut, and it will lead you on the path that you are supposed to go down.' His new music, including singles like 'Boys' and 'Rhythm of Love' can be found on Spotify and other streaming platforms. Also supporting Frankie's music career all the way is his husband-of-three years Hale Leon.
