Kate Moss And Bobby Gillespie's Zara Collaboration Is Glastonbury Outfit Goals
For anyone spending their lunch break mood boarding looks for Glastonbury, Kate Moss's many festival triumphs will be playing like something of a greatest hits show reel. The waistcoats, the weeny shorts, the studded belts, the metallic micro dresses, no one gets dressed for a gig quite like the supermodel, which is why attention must be paid to the fact that you can now get the so-called look from Zara.

For her second collaboration with the high street retailer, Moss has not only plundered the depths of her own festival wardrobe for inspiration, she's also enlisted the help of a Bobby Gillespie, Primal Scream's frontman, and his very stylish wife, Katy England. Together, they've cooked up a collection that features the model's signatures that fans will immediately recognise from pap shots at Worthy Farm. (Oh and her daughter, Lily Grace Moss Hack, also models her mum's new collection on the brand's website.)

There are bead-embellished waistcoats, zippered leather hot pants, giant sunglasses, gladiator sandals and the kind of skinny metallic scarves that you haven't seen since approximately 2004, aka a fever dream straight out of the early '00s hall of fame - and Kate Moss 101.

If some pieces look not just familiar but like re-editions, that's because they're modelled on vintage garments owned by Moss. 'Nothing matches the feeling of finding a one-off piece,' she says in the press release accompanying the collection, adding that seeing the men's collection coming together, which was designed in collaboration by Gillespie, took it from wafty dresses to something tougher. 'You could feel it coming over and we ended up going somewhere quite unexpected,' she says.

This High Street Jacket Is All Over Instagram - And It Elevates Every Outfit
While refining your summer dress collection may be top of mind right now, we'd argue there's still some room in your outfit rotation for a lightweight jacket. While it may seem counterintuitive to add an outerwear staple to your summer wardrobe, living in Britain does indeed come with its fair share of summer showers and cooler evening temperatures, so having a throw-on-and-go layer at the ready is essential. This season's hero staple? A white denim jacket, led by one in particular from high street hero COS. COS' Boxy Denim Jacket is a great choice if you're looking for a lightweight jacket that follows the trends of this season - particularly the rise of white denim. Celebrities have long favoured denim in soft washes like ecru, white, and cream - with Sienna Miller and Sofia Richie Grainge championing white-wash jeans in wide-leg and straight-leg cuts - so it's only natural that the white denim jacket is the next go-to staple. 1. COS, Boxy Denim Jacket COS' boxy jacket has been dubbed the throw-on layer of the summer - and for good reason. Designed in a boxy fit, the COS jacket carries a subtle boyish charm, reflective of its utilitarian inspired oversized patch pockets and side slits. A true testament to COS' brilliant minimalist appeal, the boxy jacket is a welcome addition to any wardrobe, slotting in seamlessly amongst other classically chic stables, from tailored trousers to any type of summer dress - particularly those in a ditsy floral print or trendy gingham design. Alternatively, embrace the denim-on-denim trend by pairing the jacket with a matching light wash pair of jeans for an easy breezy, summery take on the classic Canadian Tuxedo. When it comes to footwear, the choice is yours - go for boots to maintain a rugged, military-inspired edge, or opt for toe-ring sandals to keep things airy during warmer months. We especially love Zara's version, accented with gold embellishments for a touch of glamour. While the COS jacket has a generous amount of sizes in stock, we'd suggest you snap it up sooner rather than later. How Rolling Stones could be Glastonbury's Patchwork as they record 25th album
You wouldn't believe it if we told you this in the 1960s when the Rolling Stones formed, but the band are said to be recording their 25th album over five decades on. And they could possibly even be heading for Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage in the mysterious Patchwork slot in two weeks time. Hear me out. After their last No.1 album, Hackney Diamonds, dropped in 2023 with rave reviews and the success of their single Angry, members Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood are said to be working on the new record with current drummer Steve Jordan. 'Originally, the plan was for them to bring their huge US tour to the UK and Europe this summer, but promoters couldn't get the dates to work, a source told The Sun. This huge news comes as Glastonbury dropped its full line-up for this year, with a number of secret sets billed. While some of these mystery slots are earmarked with TBA, there is one primetime Pyramid Stage slot currently occupied by a non-existant band called Patchwork. Most eyes are on Pulp at the moment, with Glastonbury tipsters Secretglasto convinced the 90s rockers are Patchwork, just as the Foo Fighters were made-up name The ChurnUps in 2023. However, with talks of tour plans being scrapped due to dates not being able to work and a new album said to be on the way, why could it not be the Rolling Stones? Sir Rod Stewart has already confirmed Rolling Stones member Ronnie Wood will be at the festival, making a surprise appearance in his Sunday afternoon set, so he's in situ. But here's the big clue: Rolling Stones is actually a Patchwork pattern, which perhaps seems less tenuous than Pulp member Candida Doyle recently saying she likes doing patchwork on tour. Also, what band in the history of the world has a more recognisable band patch, than the Rolling Stones' hot lips logo? Plus, the late Rolling Stones member Charlie Watts was known for his love of tailoring, having owned over 200 suits, so the Patchwork moniker could be a nod to him. It would make sense, as he was totally different in his tailored three-piece suits, against the other Stones' rock and roll attire. The first and only time the Rolling Stones have performed at Glastonbury came in 2013, when they headlined the Pyramid Stage with Watts, before his death in 2021. According to LitHub, Sunspel, the British clothing manufacturer, designed a T-shirt that was easier for Charlie to play in due to the insertion of an extra side panel, allowing for two seams down the side instead of one. He was said to be so happy with it that the entire band wore the design at the Glastonbury Festival in 2013. In case we didn't need any more clues, in the 1960s – when the Rolling Stones were formed – patchwork patterns saw a huge revival with the emergance of the hippy culture. All an innocent coincidence? We're not so convinced… Time will tell. Got a story? Going to Glastonbury for the first time? Here are our tips for doing it right
Yes, they're important: think of your future hearing! Fortunately, it's easier than ever to look good while being sensible about noise protection: Loop earplugs are being worn by all the cool kids these days. They've also partnered with Glastonbury this year to provide sensory spaces and calm zones as well as donating 5,000 earplugs to performing artists, backstage crew and those working in the calm zones. Pick up the Experience 2 for hearing protection that will do you proud in the middle of the club (they cancel out up to 17dB of noise levels) or the Switch 2, which shifts between three modes (Quiet, Experience and Engage) depending on what you're doing and the amount of noise cancellation you'd like.
