
Fabian moves slowly ahead of PAR exit
Traveling westward slowly, Fabian has maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h and gustiness of up to 55 km/h.
"Fabian is forecast to move generally west northwestward until it exits the PAR tonight or tomorrow early morning. FABIAN is forecast to weaken into a remnant low tomorrow morning,'' PAGASA said.
Fabian will bring moderate seas (1.0-1.5 m) over the coastal waters of Northern Luzon.
''Mariners of motor bancas and similarly sized vessels are advised to take precautionary measures while venturing out to sea and, if possible, avoid navigating in these conditions, especially if inexperienced or operating ill-equipped vessels,'' PAGASA said.
PAGASA is also monitoring Tropical Storm Podul, which may enter the PAR between late Sunday evening and early Monday morning. —VBL, GMA Integrated News

Fabian leaves PAR as PAGASA monitors Tropical Storm Podul
Tropical Depression Fabian exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility at 1 a.m. Saturday, according to the state weather bureau PAGASA. Fabian, the sixth tropical cyclone to enter the PAR this year, is expected to weaken into a low pressure area. Meanwhile, PAGASA is monitoring Tropical Storm Podul, which may enter the PAR between late Sunday evening and early Monday morning. At 10 p.m. Friday, Podul was located 2,315 km east of Extreme Northern Luzon, carrying maximum sustained winds of 85 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 105 km/h. It was moving west northwestward at 15 km/h.
