Jonas Brothers, Eric Church, Keke Palmer & More Performers Announced for ‘Macy's 4th of July Fireworks' Special
NBC announced the musical lineup for the Macy's 4th of July Fireworks special on Thursday (June 12), including Jonas Brothers, Eric Church, Lenny Kravitz and Keke Palmer.
According to a release, the patriotic holiday special, which naturally airs on July 4, will also include performances by Ava Max and Trisha Yearwood, as well as a musical score during the fireworks display produced by Questlove and James Poyser featuring a live vocal performance by Ariana DeBose, who will also serve as host of the two-hour event.

Billed as the nation's 'largest Independence Day celebration,' the telecast will continue the annual tradition of firing off dazzling pyrotechnics from New York City's famous Brooklyn Bridge as well as four barges positioned on the East River.
'Year after year, this telecast continues to inspire and awe, lighting up the New York skyline — this time with a stunning fireworks display near the iconic Brooklyn Bridge,' said Jen Neal, NBCU Entertainment's executive vice president of live events and specials, said in a statement. 'It's the kind of unforgettable national live event that brings us together as a country while showcasing the power and uniqueness of both our NBC and Peacock brands.'
Speaking of the network, the 49th annual Macy's 4th of July Fireworks special will air on NBC at 8 p.m. ET and be simultaneously broadcast on Peacock. Meanwhile, the special will also begin airing on Telemundo at 9 p.m. ET.
The slate of holiday performances will take place right around the arrival of new music from several of the artists set to hit the stage: the JoBros seventh album, Greetings from Your Hometown, will be released one month later on August 8 while Palmer's third full-length, Just Keke, is scheduled to drop June 20 with a corresponding visual album. Meanwhile, Church is preparing to hit the road to support his 2025 LP Evangeline vs. the Machine and Max is gearing up to release her third studio set, Don't Click Play, on August 22.

Jonas Brothers cancel several upcoming concerts, ditch stadiums for smaller venues
The Jonas Brothers are downscaling their upcoming tour. The "Burnin' Up" musicians announced the cancellation of six concerts for their Jonas20: Living the Dream Tour on Thursday, saying they will replace the upcoming stadium performances with shows at smaller venues on the same dates. "To the fans, we're so excited to get out and be with you for our 20th-anniversary tour!" the band wrote in a statement on social media. "Every decision we make is with you in mind, ensuring the best experience for our incredible fans. We're making some changes, but rest assured, all performances are still happening on the same dates and in the same cities. We're pouring our hearts into making this the best tour we've ever done." The group went on to explain that fans will have to purchase new tickets for the new shows, but those who bought tickets to the canceled concerts will have priority pre-sale access linked to their Ticketmaster accounts. "We apologize for any inconvenience these changes have caused, and we can't wait to see you on the road!" they concluded. The band's August 12 show in Washington, D.C., which was scheduled to take place at Nationals Park, will now be held at Jiffy Lube Live, while the Brothers' gig in Philadelphia on August 14 will be held at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion rather than Citizens Bank Park. Their August 26 concert in Chicago will take place at the Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre (in the suburb Tinley Park) instead of Wrigley Field, and their August 28 performance in Detroit will happen at Little Caesars Arena instead of Comerica Park. Additionally, the band's Dallas show on August 31 will now be held in the Dos Equis Pavilion rather than the Globe Life Field, and their Los Angeles concert on September 6 will now take place at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood instead of Dodger Stadium. The band is still set to play shows at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., and Fenway Park in Jonas released his second solo album, Music for People Who Believe in Love, in May. Additionally, Jonas Brothers recently dropped "Love Me to Heaven," the lead single from their eighth studio album, Greetings From Your Hometown. The record is scheduled for release on August 8, just two days before the tour kicks off. The group's supporting acts include the All-American Rejects, Boys Like Girls. and Marshmello. Consumption of Taylor Swift's albums exploded recently, after in late May, the singer-songwriter revealed that she had purchased the master rights to her first six albums. That deal officially ended a years-long feud with Scooter Braun and Ithaca Holdings, which had purchased them away from her years ago, prompting her to begin releasing Taylor's Versions of her projects. This latest move puts Swift back in control of the music that made her a household name. Following the exciting development, millions of fans rushed to buy and stream her catalog once again. Much of the focus was on Reputation, a set many had expected would be next in her re-recordings series. While an updated version of the 2017 project may never materialize, fans continue to celebrate the original — and this week, they've pushed it to new heights. This frame, Reputation lands at No. 10 on Billboard's Top Streaming Albums chart, breaking into the loftiest tier for the very first time. The full-length effort reaches the top 10 more than a year and a half after it first returned to the tally in October 2023, and 43 weeks into its current run. As Reputation climbs, Swift now claims five top 10 wins on the Top Streaming Albums chart. That's exactly half of the 10 sets she's pushed onto the list. Chicopee holds annual Pride Flag-raising supporting LGBTQ+ community
CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – It's Pride Month, and local and state officials are showing their support for the LGBTQ+ community. Springfield holds fourth annual Pride Parade A pride flag-raising was held in downtown Chicopee Friday afternoon. The LGBTQ+ community says Pride Month brings visibility, and the city of Chicopee has done just that by raising the pride flag each year since 2016. 'We're proud and we're thankful that we live in a city, and a state, a Commonwealth, that is as protected as it is,' said Ray Hoess-Brooks of Chicopee. Chicopee is hosting its Pride Festival on Saturday at Szot Park at noon. More Pride events will be held in western Mass. throughout the month and can be found here.
