Houthi Militia's Systematic Destruction of Yemen's Economy Exposed

Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism, Muammar al-Eryani, has revealed shocking figures on the economic impact of the Houthi militia's systematic practices since its coup in 2014. According to Al-Eryani, the militia has looted over $103 billion of the Yemeni people's money and resources, with its leaders accumulating enormous wealth from looting and corruption. The Houthi leaders have used their illicit wealth to buy palaces, villas, and build towers, while millions of Yemenis live in catastrophic humanitarian conditions. The militia has monopolized the oil, gas, and telecommunications trade, swept away the private sector, and imposed taxes and tributes on all economic activities. Al-Eryani stressed that the Houthi militia's refusal to pay state employees' salaries, despite its huge resources, confirms its systematic policy to impoverish, starve, and humiliate Yemenis. The minister emphasized that the militia's actions are aimed at tightening control over the private sector, enriching its leaders, and providing financial support to Iranian-backed militias in the region.

Russian air defenses shoot down 44 Ukrainian UAVs

Moscow - Saba: The Russian Defense Ministry announced today Thursday that 44 Ukrainian drones were downed last night over several regions. Sputnik quoted the ministry as saying in a statement: "Last night, from 8:00 PM on Wednesday until 7:00 AM Moscow time on Thursday, Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 44 Ukrainian drones." The statement added: "Fourteen drones were destroyed over the Black Sea basin, nine over the Volgograd region, seven over Crimea, seven over Rostov region, four over Krasnodar region, two over Belgorod region, and one over the Sea of Azov basin." The governor of the Russian Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced on Thursday that Kyiv regime forces had shelled the regional government building. Gladkov wrote in a statement posted on his Telegram channel: "I was walking now, and the government building was shelled at the time. Minor damage was reported in the area." Ukrainian Armed Forces target Russian border areas in Crimea and the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, and Voronezh regions almost daily with drones and missiles. Russian forces, for their part, respond by targeting exclusively Ukrainian military infrastructure, as well as facilities of the military-industrial complex, everything related to the storage, repair, or manufacture of military equipment, and centers for the concentration of Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel and foreign mercenaries.

Russian security announces destruction of Ukrainian facilities for production of missile systems

Moscow - Saba: The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) announced today Thursday that, in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense, it had thwarted a secret Ukrainian missile program aimed at developing "Sapsan" ballistic missiles capable of targeting deep inside Russia. Russian authorities confirmed that the joint operation resulted in the destruction of Ukrainian facilities specialized in military industries, which were being used to develop and manufacture these missiles. They pointed out that the preemptive information obtained by the security services allowed them to determine the precise coordinates of these facilities before carrying out the strikes with high accuracy. The RT channel quoted the Russian Federal Security Service as saying in a statement that 'Ukraine relied in the development of this missile program on technologies and military stockpiles remaining from the Soviet era, within what it described as 'a secret project to enhance its long-range offensive capabilities.'' The statement added: 'With authorization from NATO representatives, Ukraine planned to use the 'Sapsan' system to launch an attack deep into Russian territory, but thanks to the joint efforts of the Russian Federal Security Service and the Russian Armed Forces, the plans to develop the Ukrainian missile program were thwarted.' Moscow confirmed that the entire technical base for the production of Ukraine's long-range ballistic missiles was completely destroyed, which constitutes 'a decisive preemptive strike' to prevent any future threat of this kind. Reports indicated that the production of "Sapsan" missiles was taking place at defense facilities located in the Dnipropetrovsk and Sumy regions in eastern Ukraine, which were targeted in the recent military operation.
