Selena Gomez reveals which Taylor Swift song she heard before release, recalls how their friendship began
Appearing on the Therapuss podcast with Jake Shane, Gomez reflected on their shared past and revealed a unique musical moment they experienced.
'Taylor and I dated the Jonas Brothers. I dated Nick and she dated Joe. And everything was… it was cute, we were young,' Selena said. 'We all know and love each other now and it's so cute. We don't know what we were doing — She and I like to say the best thing we got out of those relationships was each other.'
Selena also revealed that Swift played her "Love Story" before it was officially released. 'I believe 'Love Story' was the first song she had ever played me and it wasn't released yet. Yeah, I was in a hotel room and I remember it vividly. It was just one of those songs I instantly heard and thought this is one of the most beautiful songs ever.'
At the time, Gomez was 15 and Swift was 18. She added, 'That's when it was the crazy curly Taylor and she had all these bracelets that went all the way up. At that age we became best friends, bonded over the breakup. As girls do.'
Now, 16 years later, their friendship remains strong through 'all the ups and downs that came after.'
Selena also praised Swift's artistry, saying, 'She's a chameleon, she's incredible".

The Jonas Brothers drop surprise album inspired by childhood and hometown roots
The Jonas Brothers have returned with a brand-new chapter in their music journey, releasing their seventh studio album Greetings From Your Hometown on 8 August. The 14-track record arrives two years after their previous project, The Album, which peaked at number 3 on the Billboard 200 in 2023. This latest release dives into personal territory, blending nostalgic influences and musical styles from their youth. Singles from the album include I Can't Lose, Love Me to Heaven, No Time to Talk, and Slow Motion. First announced four months ago at the brothers' JONASCON event, the project carries a theme of rediscovery and emotional grounding. 'There's something about being home that reminds you who you are,' the trio shared when teasing the album earlier this year. This marks their third studio album since reuniting in 2019 following a nearly decade-long hiatus. Their comeback was launched with Happiness Begins, which featured the global hit Sucker. The split, once shrouded in tension, now seems like a distant memory. Joe Jonas reflected on that period during a recent appearance on Last Meals, saying, 'Now we can communicate way better… we don't need to be scared to have tough conversations.' The album signals a matured sound and a band that has grown both musically and emotionally. Fans have already taken to social media to celebrate the release, with many praising the emotional depth and return to roots. Comments highlight the brothers' evolution while still delivering catchy melodies and polished production. Greetings From Your Hometown is being hailed as a love letter to the past, and a confident step forward into a new era of Jonas Brothers music.

Fox News host Greg Gutfeld to appear on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show
Fox News Channel host Greg Gutfeld will appear on NBC's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday. Speaking on Gutfeld! last week, Gutfeld described the appearance as 'the biggest crossover since the Harlem Globetrotters visited The Golden Girls.' He added that he will be sharing the episode with the Jonas Brothers, joking that he was 'one of the original members until they booted me out for being too hot.' Gutfeld also commented on Fallon's approach to late-night television, saying that 'unlike the other guys' Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert, Fallon 'doesn't reside in a liberal echo chamber.' He added that appearing together showed Fallon was 'not afraid of upsetting his peers or afraid of my mesmerising charm.' Reflecting on Fallon's 2016 interview with Donald Trump, in which Fallon famously mussed Trump's hair, Gutfeld said, 'If he wants to run his fingers through my hair, I will not complain. After all, the last time he did that, the guy became president.' Gutfeld! is currently the most-watched late-night television programme in the United States, regularly attracting larger audiences than competing shows on NBC, CBS and ABC. Gutfeld also co-hosts The Five with Dana Perino, Jesse Watters, Jessica Tarlov and Harold Ford Jr., which was the most-watched cable news programme in America in July. Thursday's Tonight Show will also feature performances and appearances from the Jonas Brothers and Good Charlotte. The episode airs at 11:35 p.m. ET on NBC and will be available to stream after broadcast.

Nick Jonas shares daughter Malti's favourite Jonas Brothers song while preparing for JONAS 20 tour
Nick Jonas has revealed that his three-year-old daughter Malti Marie has a clear favourite Jonas Brothers track as the band prepares to begin their JONAS 20 tour. Speaking to PEOPLE in New York City on August 6, Jonas said Malti enjoys 'Love You to Heaven' and often sings it 'at the top of her lungs.' Jonas shares Malti with his wife, Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The JONAS 20 tour will feature five concerts streamed exclusively on Samsung TV Plus's flagship channel, Samsung Television Network. His brother Kevin Jonas, who has daughters Valentina and Alena with wife Danielle Jonas, said he is still finalising plans for his children to attend the MetLife Stadium concert. He joked that one of his daughters prefers wearing a Marshmello shirt over Jonas Brothers merchandise, as the DJ will appear at several shows. The band's first tour date is set for August 10 in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Joe Jonas described the launch event aboard an NYC Ferry as a way to connect with fans travelling around the city. He said the tour follows a two-year process of creating their latest album, with MetLife Stadium serving as the opening venue. Joe highlighted that streaming the concerts live will allow fans worldwide to take part. 'We put this show together for them and with them, and so it'll be fun to see what they get from it,' he said.
