Fox News host Greg Gutfeld to appear on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show

Express Tribune6 days ago
Fox News Channel host Greg Gutfeld will appear on NBC's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday.
Speaking on Gutfeld! last week, Gutfeld described the appearance as 'the biggest crossover since the Harlem Globetrotters visited The Golden Girls.'
He added that he will be sharing the episode with the Jonas Brothers, joking that he was 'one of the original members until they booted me out for being too hot.'
Gutfeld also commented on Fallon's approach to late-night television, saying that 'unlike the other guys' Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert, Fallon 'doesn't reside in a liberal echo chamber.'
He added that appearing together showed Fallon was 'not afraid of upsetting his peers or afraid of my mesmerising charm.'
Reflecting on Fallon's 2016 interview with Donald Trump, in which Fallon famously mussed Trump's hair, Gutfeld said, 'If he wants to run his fingers through my hair, I will not complain. After all, the last time he did that, the guy became president.'
Gutfeld! is currently the most-watched late-night television programme in the United States, regularly attracting larger audiences than competing shows on NBC, CBS and ABC.
Gutfeld also co-hosts The Five with Dana Perino, Jesse Watters, Jessica Tarlov and Harold Ford Jr., which was the most-watched cable news programme in America in July.
Thursday's Tonight Show will also feature performances and appearances from the Jonas Brothers and Good Charlotte. The episode airs at 11:35 p.m. ET on NBC and will be available to stream after broadcast.

Demi Lovato opens up about emotional Jonas Brothers reunion after years apart

Demi Lovato has described her surprise reunion with the Jonas Brothers as an emotional and healing experience. The former Disney Channel stars came together for the first time in more than a decade at the opening night of the Jonas Brothers' 20th anniversary tour in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Lovato joined Joe, Nick and Kevin on stage to perform two of their most memorable Camp Rock hits, This Is Me and Wouldn't Change a Thing. Speaking on the Chicks in the Office podcast, Lovato revealed that Joe Jonas personally reached out just a week before the show. She said he told her how much she had been a part of their journey and invited her to join them for what was a special milestone. Lovato explained that the decision was an easy one, saying it was an instant yes and perfectly aligned with the nostalgic mood she has embraced in her new era. Before the concert, the Jonas Brothers visited Lovato's dressing room to meet her husband Jordan Lutes, whom she married in May. She said their kindness and appreciation for her flying across the country made the night even more meaningful. Reflecting on the moment, Lovato said it was full circle for her, especially since This Is Me was her first major hit. Performing it again alongside the Jonas Brothers brought back powerful memories of their shared history and the challenges they had overcome together. Lovato's current musical direction sees her stepping into dance pop with her latest single Fast. Her upcoming ninth studio album is in its final stages and expected later this year. For her, the reunion was not just a performance but a reminder of the enduring connections formed in those early years of her career.

Pierce Brosnan struggles with Jimmy Fallon's spicy salsa during ‘Tonight Show' appearance

Pierce Brosnan had a priceless reaction after sampling Jimmy Fallon's homemade salsa during a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The former James Bond actor joined co-star Helen Mirren on Monday night to promote their upcoming film The Thursday Murder Club. Before discussing the movie, Fallon surprised the pair by preparing his signature salsa live on the show, mixing tomatoes, garlic, lime, onion, jalapeño, cilantro, and crunchy salt. While Mirren, 80, happily enjoyed the spicy snack, Brosnan, 72, appeared caught off guard by the heat. The Mamma Mia! star initially tried to mask his discomfort, taking a long pause before declaring the salsa 'really good.' Moments later, he was seen coughing and fanning his mouth to cool down. When Mirren offered him more, he politely declined, admitting, 'I don't do hot sauce or jalapeños,' before taking a sip of water. Fallon laughed at the candid moment. Directed by Chris Columbus and based on Richard Osman's best-selling novel, The Thursday Murder Club follows four retirees who solve cold case murders, only to stumble upon a real one. Both Brosnan and Mirren also star together in Paramount+'s MobLand, portraying wealthy couple Conrad and Maeve Harrington. The Thursday Murder Club premieres on Netflix August 28, while The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights on NBC at 11:35 p.m. ET.
