The Traitors: OTT platform, release date, full list of contestants and more about Karan Johar's reality show
Reality TV in India just got a serious twist. It's about lies, mind games, and big money. Karan Johar is bringing the international reality hit The Traitors to Indian screens, and it's all set to stream on Amazon Prime Video starting June 12, 2025. Shot in the stunning Suryagarh Palace of Jaisalmer, new episodes of the show will drop every Thursday on your small screens.
So, what's 'The Traitors' about?
If you've seen Bigg Boss, forget that. The Traitors is not about shouting or tasks, it's a psychological thriller in reality show format. The idea is simple but intense: 20 people, most of them celebrities, live together in a lavish palace. Among them are a few "traitors" secretly picked by Karan Johar himself. The rest are called "faithfuls."
Every night, the traitors secretly eliminate one person, and every day, the whole group meets to vote and try to banish someone they think is a traitor. The twist? If the traitors make it to the end without getting caught, they take home the prize money. But if the faithfuls figure them out and vote them out, the prize goes to the remaining faithful.
Meet the contestants of The Traitors
The show has a mix of TV stars, influencers, actors, and even a poker champion. Here's the full list of people trying to lie and survive in the game:

Dhanashree Opens Up On Love After Divorce From Yuzvendra Chahal: 'Putting Others Down...'
Last Updated: Dhanashree and Yuzvendra Chahal filed for divorce by mutual consent in February this year, with a Mumbai court officially granting the divorce in March. Choreographer and digital creator Dhanashree Verma has broken her silence on life after her divorce from Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. In a conversation with Times of India, Dhanashree opened up about dealing with misleading narratives, staying grounded, and whether she's open to finding love again. Addressing speculation surrounding her, Dhanashree said, 'The narratives circulating around me are far from the truth. None of it reflects who I am, and I don't engage with it because I know my values, my upbringing, and the kind of person I am. I've always believed in maintaining dignity and grace. Putting others down has never been my way, and it never helps anyone rise in life." Reflecting on whether love is on the cards again, Dhanashree shared that matters of the heart aren't planned. 'I've always been extremely focused on my goals, whether it was during my time as a dentist or now in the entertainment industry… Pyaar ki baat karein, toh you can't plan these things. Aap ye decide nahi kar sakte ke main aaj ya ek saal baad pyaar mein padhungi. Love is a different entity altogether. What matters most to me is mera focus aur main apne life mein aage kya dekh rahi hoon." Dhanashree and Yuzvendra Chahal filed for divorce by mutual consent in February this year, with a Mumbai court officially granting the divorce in March. However, the process saw a delay after the family court initially declined to waive the six-month mandatory cooling-off period. The former couple's separation had been speculated on for months, particularly after they unfollowed each other on Instagram. They tied the knot in December 2020 in an intimate ceremony in Gurugram and were reportedly living separately since June 2022. They first connected during the COVID-19 pandemic when Chahal approached Dhanashree for dance lessons. First Published: June 04, 2025, 04:15 IST

Want to watch 'Sinners' on TV without breaking the law? Here are some great streaming options
After making waves at the global box office, 'Sinners', the supernatural horror film starring Michael B. Jordan, has finally arrived on digital platforms. Directed by Ryan Coogler, the film became available for streaming on June 3 on Amazon Prime Video and BookMyShow Stream. But there's a catch. Sinners is surely on OTT, but it isn't part of any subscription catalogue and is currently available only as a premium rental. In India, viewers will need to shell out ₹ 499 to watch the film at home. 'Sinners' first hit theatres on April 18 and quickly became a box office success, grossing over $350 million worldwide. It now holds the position of the eighth highest-grossing film of 2025. A big part of its popularity is thanks to Jordan's powerful performance in a dual role, portraying twin brothers Smoke and Stack Moore. His portrayal of the troubled siblings added emotional weight to the film's dark and suspenseful narrative. Even as the film moves to digital, 'Sinners' continues to play in select cinemas across India. This gives audiences a choice: pay a premium to rent the film at home or experience it on the big screen one last time. With its moody atmosphere, supernatural tension, and a leading man at the top of his game, 'Sinners' remains a compelling watch. However, the decision to offer it only on rent may divide viewers — some may see it as worth the price, while others might wait for it to join a streaming subscription later. The film features Michael B. Jordan in dual roles as twin brothers with a criminal past who return to their hometown for a fresh start, only to face a mysterious supernatural force. The cast also includes Hailee Steinfeld, Miles Caton, Jack O'Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, Jayme Lawson, Omar Miller, and Delroy Lindo. 'Sinners' is now the eighth-highest-grossing film of 2025.
