SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS)—Dance His High Praise 16: A Ballet Tribute takes the stage Saturday, April 12, at the Strand Theatre.
The show features Grambling State University's Orchesis Dance Company and Legacy Dance Studio of Shreveport, showcasing diverse styles including ballet, jazz, tap, modern, and liturgical dance.
Boss Brothers launch radio show for kids
In addition to the performances, Dance His High Praise continues its tradition of honoring local community members who have made a meaningful impact. Vincent Williams, the producer, will also award a performing arts scholarship in memory of his mother, Helen Horton.
'This show is about reaching into the community and giving back to those who have given so much,' said Williams.
The performance begins at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $28.50, including tax and processing fees. Children under five will not be admitted.

Boom or Bust Byway sculpture signage unveiling this weekend Explore downtown Shreveport and make some stops along the way. Local artists works will be displayed at various locations, including: ShreveTowne Barber Shop – 514 Crockett Street Crockett Street Trading Company – 431 Crockett Street On Set Studios – 425 Crockett Street The Glass Hat – 423 Crockett Street Apotheworx Pharmacy – 429 Crockett Street Critter's Corral – 408 Cotton Street There are also food options.
