Where Nick Ball vs Sam Goodman is on TV plus live stream, PPV and full card info

Liverpool boxer Nick Ball is set to defend his WBA featherweight crown this month when he takes on Sam Goodman in Saudi Arabia. The 'Wrecking Ball' will meet his challenger in Riyadh on the undercard of Moses Itauma vs Dillian Whyte, with fans able to order the fight on DAZN.
Liverpool FC supporter Ball will enter the ring the night after the Reds' opening fixture of the new Premier League season on August 15, which sees them begin their own title defence with a home tie against Bournemouth. The 28-year-old will defend his belt for the third time against 'The Ghost', who maintains an undefeated twenty-fight run (8 KOs).
However, all things must come to an end, and the former super-bantamweight challenger, 26, faces a tough opponent in Ball, who boasts a 22-0-1 (13 KOs) record. The Liverpudlian secured his WBA title in an outstanding bout last summer against American Raymond Ford, with Ball earning a tight victory after 12 rounds.
His most recent win came in December against TJ Doheny at Liverpool's M&S Bank Arena, with Ball securing a win with a 10th-round stoppage. He goes into his next fight full of confidence and believing he holds the upper hand, reports the Liverpool Echo.
Speaking to The Ring, Ball said: "He'll probably stand and try and fight, won't he? He wants to become world champion. Then he'll realise he can't do that and I'll take over. Either way, whatever way it's going to go, it's going to be in my favour."
To see if Ball will still be the WBA featherweight champion later this month, here's when the Ball vs Goodman fight will be held and how to watch it in the UK.
When is Nick Ball vs Sam Goodman?
The Nick Ball vs Sam Goodman fight is set to take place on Saturday, August 16, with the event kicking off at 5pm BST. The ringwalk times for the undercard are yet to be confirmed.

August 10, 2025 1:15 pm Oliver Glasner: No-one likes to play against us Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner said ahead of the match: 'We asked to play the Community Shield at Anfield – because we are unbeaten there! But also we are unbeaten at Wembley, so that's why we accepted it in the end! 'I'm always entering the games with the confidence and the belief that we can win it. We showed it here [in South London], we showed it against Arsenal, we showed it against City, against Villa, the last game against Liverpool… 'Yes, we know they are a great team, but we know we are a great team as well. We had made a meeting with the players, and we know if we perform at our top level, I think no-one really likes to play against us.' August 10, 2025 1:00 pm Arne Slot wary of 'very good' Crystal Palace side Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of today's Community Shield match, Liverpool head coach Arne Slot said: 'We have a chance to win something [at] the beginning of the season. 'Unfortunately, we face a very good Crystal Palace that have been very difficult to win against for us, because we played 1-1 against them in the last game of the season. 'They showed in the last final – and even in the semi-final, by the way, as well – how difficult it is to win a one-off game [against] them. I think most of the players that they have are still there, so even more reason to know what a difficult team it is to play against.' August 10, 2025 12:31 pm Is the Community Shield on TV? Newcastle to bide time on any move for Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson

Isak is currently not training with Eddie Howe's squad after a £110million bid from Liverpool was rejected and he is not expected to feature in Saturday's Premier League opener against Aston Villa. The club missed out on signing striker Benjamin Sesko, who joined Manchester United on Saturday from RB Leipzig, but after Chelsea told Jackson on Friday that they are willing to sell it has opened up a possible solution to the impasse. The 24-year-old, who scored 10 Premier League goals last season but endured a run of one league goal in five months between December and May, trained alone on Friday and was left out of the squad for the friendly win over Bayer Leverkusen. He has been pushed down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge following the signings of Liam Delap from Ipswich and Joao Pedro from Brighton, with a feeling that his progress at the club has stalled. His relationship with supporters has been complex since joining from Villarreal in 2023, with a general appreciation for his willingness and occasional flashes of excellence offset by inconsistency and a questionable temperament. PA also understands Blues forward Christopher Nkunku is wanted by his former club Leipzig, who are keen for the 27-year-old to be included in any deal for Xavi Simons. Chelsea have been in talks for the Netherlands international this summer without an agreement being reached, but the Bundesliga side's willingness to take back Nkunku – whose time at Stamford Bridge has been badly disrupted by injury and has seen him score just six Premier League goals – could lay the foundations of a deal. Simons can play either as an attacking midfielder or on the wing and is a potentially more flexible attacking option than Nkunku. Head coach Enzo Maresca said on Friday that the club are in the market for a central defender after Levi Colwill underwent surgery on an anterior cruciate ligament injury. The typical recovery time for an ACL injury is six to nine months, meaning the England international is likely to miss most of the season. Chelsea have already signed 19-year-old centre-back Jorrel Hato from Ajax but a more experienced stand-in for Colwill is wanted.
