The Liverpudlian secured his WBA title in an outstanding bout last summer against American Raymond Ford, with Ball earning a tight victory after 12 rounds.
His most recent win came in December against TJ Doheny at Liverpool's M&S Bank Arena, with Ball securing a win with a 10th-round stoppage. He goes into his next fight full of confidence and believing he holds the upper hand, reports the Liverpool Echo.
Speaking to The Ring, Ball said: "He'll probably stand and try and fight, won't he? He wants to become world champion. Then he'll realise he can't do that and I'll take over. Either way, whatever way it's going to go, it's going to be in my favour."
