Last night she announced that she and new husband Adam Whitehead are expecting their first baby just months after their wedding.
But now Isabel has hinted that she may be leaving the soap to focus on being a mum.
She told the Mirror: 'I will miss it. I love the people there, but I've worked there for 19 years, so I feel like I've done what I've wanted to do and been selfish with my career.
'Now, it's time to devote my life to being a mum, that feels right to me. But there's still FaceTime, so they won't forget me!'
The actress announced she was expecting her first child last night in an emotional Instagram post.
She captioned the picture of her holding the scan with: 'First comes love, Then comes marriage, Then comes… Baby Whitehead ❤️.'
Isabel's co-stars rushed to congratulate her.
Mandy Dingle star Lisa Riley said: 'Congratulations-absolutely wonderful news 💛💛💛 made up for you both.'

She let slip details of her special day a month on, including the 63-strong guest list, how she did her own speech and that Adam even forgot her name during the vows.
In 2023, Isabel announced she was engaged to her boyfriend.
Real-life soap couples
Soaps are renowned for their sweet and scandalous romances – but it's not just in scripted storylines where love is blossoming. A number of our favourite small-screen actors have fallen for co-stars and soapland rivals when the cameras have stopped rolling.
Max Parker and Kris Mochrie Despite playing brothers Luke and Lee Posner on Emmerdale, the pair never actually shared any scenes together. But the pair still fell in love after meeting on set. Max and Kris got together in 2020, moving in together later than same year and got engaged in 2022. In a sweet Instagram post, the couple confirmed they're planning a 2025 wedding.
Beth Cordingly and Ian Kelsey Beth, who plays Ruby Fox-Miligan, announced her love for her co-star Ian Kelsey, who played Dean Glover, shortly after she joined Emmerdale at the beginning of 2024. 'I am very in love with Ian and very happy. I think it really does work him being an actor too. He has been so fantastic," she gushed.
Laura Norton and Mark Jordan Kerry Wyatt and Daz Eden actors Laura and Mark met on the set of Emmerdale in 2014. The couple, who got engaged in 2018, told Loose Women they spent a long time deciding whether they should "just stay as friends." Although it seems they were meant to be and the pair now share two children together.
Zoe Henry and Jeff Hordley Emmerdale favourites Zoe and Jeff, who play Rhonda Goskirk and Cain Dingle met at drama college in 1994 and have been together ever since. While working together might be too much for some couples, that's definitely not the case for Zoe and Jeff. Zoe previously told The Sun: "Working on the same show as Jeff also helps because if one of us is having a bad day then the other will completely understand."
Lesley Dunlop and Chris Chittell Lesley and Chris are another Dales romantic success story. Unlike some of the other soap stars, the pair who play Brenda Walker and Eric Pollard, are together on and off screen, officially tying the knot in 2016. They also adore working together, but have clear home-work boundaries. "We make a point of not talking about Emmerdale when we're at home, though – that would be just too sad, wouldn't it?" Chris revealed.
Sally Carman and Joe Duttine Abi Franklin and Tim Metcalfe actors Sally and Joe got together after meeting on the set of Coronation Street in 2017 and they tied the knot in July 2022. But unlike some of the Emmerdale stars, Sally and Joe prefer that their characters don't interact much. Sally previously admitted it "would be horrendous" to work on a storyline with Joe because "he's too funny."
Anthony Cotton and Peter Eccleston Sean Tully may have been unlucky in love on the cobbles, but in real life Antony's met his Prince Charming. The soap star started dating long-term partner Peter in 2005, after they met when he was working as an assistant props buyer on Corrie.
Jane Danson and Robert Beck Corrie favourite Jane Danson tied the knot with soap star Robert Beck in 2005. The actress, who plays Leanne Battersby, shares two children, Harry and Sam, with the former Brookside star. During their marriage, Robert has also done a stint in Weatherfield playing criminal Jimmy Dockerson.
Caroline Harding and Chris Gascoyne Chris, who played pub landlord Peter Barlow, married soap star Caroline in 2002. Although she is best known as an Emmerdale star, Caroline did visit her husband at work when she did a two-episode stint as doctor on the Manchester soap in 2020. The couple share a daughter called Belle, plus two children, Pip and Freddie from Caroline's previous marriage.
Nadine Mulkerrin and Rory Douglas Speed Nadine Mulkerrin, and Rory Doulas Speed are known for their Hollyoaks alter egos Cleo McQueen and Joel Dexter. The loved-up pair got engaged on a December 2018 trip to Amsterdam - just over a year after they announced they were dating. They now share two kids, Reggie and Dougie.
Sophie Austin and Shayne Ward Former Hollyoaks star Sophie, whose best known for playing villain Lindsay Butterfield, was introduced to singer and ex-Corrie star Shayne through mutual friends. She gave birth to their daughter Willow in December 2016 and they welcomed a son in 2022.
And two years later they made it down the aisle watched by her co-stars.
Eden Taylor Draper was a bridesmaid while Danny Miller, Mark Jordon, Laura Norton, Jeff Hordley and Zoë Henry were all in attendance.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez reveal engagement with giant oval diamond ring

On Monday, Rodríguez, 31, posted an Instagram photo of a giant oval engagement ring with what appears to be the Portuguese soccer star's hand in the background. 'Yes I do. In this and in all my lives,' she wrote in a translated caption. The couple first revealed their relationship in 2017 after appearing together at the Best FIFA Football Awards in Zurich, Switzerland, before posting each other on social media for the first time later that year. In June 2017, they welcomed their first set of twins, Eva Maria and Mateo, 8, via surrogate, and then welcomed their daughter Alana, 7, in November 2017. Ronaldo also has a 15-year-old son, Cristiano Jr, from a previous relationship. A few years later, the model and the soccer player announced the death of their twin son, Ángel, in April 2022, as they revealed that their twin daughter, Bella, 3, had been born. Ronaldo and Rodríguez shared the news of their son's passing in a joint social media post at the time. 'It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce our baby boy has passed away. It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel,' they wrote. 'Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness.' The couple also took the opportunity to express their gratitude to the doctors, nurses and medical staff for 'all their expert care and support.' 'We are all devastated at this loss and we kindly ask for privacy at this very difficult time,' they wrote. 'Our baby boy, you are our angel. We will always love you.' Days later, Ronaldo took to Instagram to thank his peers for their support and revealed that his then-newborn daughter was out of the hospital. In his post, he also shared a photo of his family, which included his three other children. Rodríguez further reflected on that moment during season two of her Netflix series, I Am Georgina in 2023. 'Over 40 million people follow me, but no one knows how I really feel. This year, I had the best and the worst moment of my life in an instant,' she said in a teaser for the new season at the time. ADVERTISEMENT The clip went on to show a video of Rodríguez and Ronaldo holding their twin's sonogram, before showcasing photos of the couple holding their then-newborn twin daughter. Rodríguez then tearfully explained how the soccer star helped her overcome her grief and encouraged her to keep moving forward. 'Life is hard. Life goes on,' she said. 'Life goes on. I have reasons to move on and be strong. Cris really encouraged me to continue with my agenda. He said, 'Gio, get on with life. It'll do you good.'' The influencer expressed her gratitude for her loved ones, adding: 'My priority right now is my family and my children. I'm so happy and thankful.'

Love Island star Harry reveals why he has NO plans to go exclusive with Shakira as he takes swipe at co-stars

The star cleared up matters on their LOVE RULES Love Island star Harry reveals why he has NO plans to go exclusive with Shakira as he takes swipe at co-stars LOVE Island's Harry Cooksley has revealed he has no intention of 'going exclusive' with Shakira Khan now the show's ended. Harry and Shakira had a string of ups and downs during their time in the villa, with Harry largely locked in with Helena Ford before deciding his feelings lied with the pretty Burnley islander instead. Advertisement 5 Harry and Shakira will never be labelled 'exclusive' Credit: ITV 5 Harry explained that he found the term a 'villa thing' to ward off bombshells Credit: Shutterstock Editorial Finally getting together two weeks before the finale, the couple were notably the only couple not to declare themselves 'exclusive' before the last day. Appearing on Joe Baggs' Not My Bagg podcast, Harry explained why he didn't decide to put that label on the pair – and doesn't ever plan to. 'No, we haven't [labelled ourselves exclusive],' Harry explained. 'I think that's just a villa thing, if I'm honest. 'I'm not here for like, 'Oh, we're exclusive', or making a big thing out of being exclusive. The thing for us would be boyfriend and girlfriend. Advertisement 'Obviously, we're not there yet but when it comes. It was never going to be 'Do you want to be exclusive?'' 'I think that goes without saying, from my side, at least, I only have eyes for her after I got back with her in the villa, and now on the outside world, it's the same thing. 'I've got no interest in anyone else.' The new 'exclusive' tag on the show is often used by islanders who want to note they're closed off from getting to know other people, but haven't reached the stage of wanting to make their relationship official. Advertisement However, host Joe noted that it 'confused him' that islanders continued to use it long after bombshells that could threaten their romance could enter the villa – with some even going 'exclusive' days before the final. 'I'm not too sure. I think we could have easily done that as well,' said Harry. 'But, like I said, I think the exclusive thing is more for the show, right? Love Island Lothario Harry admits he WAS dating when he joined show as he refuses to go exclusive with Shakira 'Bombshells are coming in, 'oh, I'm exclusive'.' He then made light of his notable womanising moments on the series by joking: 'I mean, didn't really apply to me so much… the exclusive tag.' Advertisement During his time on the show, Harry came under fire for making a play for several of the bombshells, including in Casa Amor. Breaking Helena's heart when he finally chose Shakira, the awkward ongoing love triangle between the three of them also became central to the show. While he was in the Mallorca compound, an ex also branded him a 'serial sh****r' and claimed he was dating 12 different girls before appearing on Love Island. Despite this, Harry and Shakira eventually became the show's runner ups behind Toni Laites and Cacherel Mercer.
