Menfi receives letter from Emir of Qatar as political dialogue continues
Presidential Council (PC) head, Mohamed Menfi, has received a formal letter from Qatar's Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, reaffirming Doha's support for Libya's political reconciliation efforts.
The letter was handed over by Qatar's ambassador to Libya, Khaled Al-Dosari, during a meeting in Tripoli on Wednesday.
According to the PC's media office, the message conveyed the Qatari leadership's congratulations on Menfi's return to Libya after a medical trip abroad, and expressed wishes for his continued recovery.
Talks during the meeting focused on the latest political developments in Libya and avenues for enhancing bilateral relations between the two nations.

Haftar's forces halt Gaza support convoy in Sirte
The Convoy of Steadfastness, a popular, peaceful initiative in support of Gaza, was stopped at the entrance to the city of Sirte by forces loyal to Khalifa Haftar. According to a statement by the Joint Coordination for Gaza, eastern Libyan security officials said the convoy must wait for authorization from Benghazi before being allowed to proceed.
